In the tradition of films by David Lynch and novels by Haruki Murakami, this strange and compelling graphic novel is full of mystery and symbolism that tells the story of a couple trying to keep their troubled marriage together, while separated by an apocalyptic flood with mysterious properties.

In the Flood debuts December 18th and will be available to read at no additional cost for Amazon Prime, Kindle Unlimited, and comiXology Unlimited members, and will also be available for purchase on Kindle and comiXology.

“In the Flood is a labor of love – a project that I was determined to do and I hope readers enjoy the set-up, the mystery, and the payoff,” says Fawkes. “This is a unique and nonlinear book, full of metaphor and symbolism, grounded by a very human, very emotional tale of love and loss.”

‘The Flash’ Get Release Dates From Warner Bros.

By Creative Media Times

Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. has announced on Wednesday that “The Flash” is set to be released on July 1, 2022.

Ezra Miller is reprising the role which debuted in Zack Snyder‘s Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and then returned in Justice League. The director of the “It” movies, Andy Muschietti, is currently attached to direct.

Along with the Flash’s new release date, the satudio also announced the release date for its highly-anticipated Matrix 4. The currently untitled film is set for release on May 21, 2121. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are currently expected to return for the fourth “Matrix” as well as series co-creator Lana Wachowski.

The Flash movie has had a long road to development since first being announced in 2014. Though Ezra Miller has since been hopeful of the film’s eventual release, things got a bit uncertain after Justice League somewhat underperformed at the boxoffice in 2017.

The Flash joins the list of films that the studio is developing as part of the DC Universe, joining next year’s Birds of Prey (set for release on February 7, 2020), Wonder Woman 1984 (June 5, 2020), then the following year with The Batman (June 5, 2021), The Suicide Squad (August 6, 2021) and Black Adam (December 22, 2021), while Aquaman 2 arrives on the same year as The Flash (currently dated for release on December 16).

By Creative Media Times

Warner Bros. has unveiled the very first trailer for “Wonder Woman 1984,” sequel to the hugely successful 2017’s film “Wonder Woman.”

Wonder Woman travels to the 80s, as the title suggests, decades away from the World War I setting of the 2017 original and shows Diana Prince reuniting with Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor.

Not a lot of details has been released so far but here’s what Warner Bros has to say about the film so far: “Diana Prince comes into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the 1980s and finds a formidable foe by the name of the Cheetah.”

The new trailer gives us a first look at Kristen Wiig’s an archaeologist turned villainous Cheetah as well as tycoon Maxwell Lord played by Pedro Pascal.

Also released as series of character posters that offer our best looks yet at some of the movie’s core characters, including Kristen Wiig as Barbara Anne Minerva, The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal as Max Lord and the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. (see below).

Director Patty Jenkins also returns to helm. Wonder Woman 1984 is set for release in theaters June 5, 2020.

Zozibini Tunzi was crowned as the new Miss Universe after impressing the judges on her final question and answer portion, as well as her beauty and grace during the swimsuit and evening gown competitions. Miss Mexico and Miss Puerto Rico were the two runners-up.

“I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me, with my color skin, and my kind of hair is not considered beautiful,” Tunzi said on Sunday. “I think it is time that stops today. I want children to look at my face and I want them to see their face reflected in mine.”

Tunzi is an activist against gender violence. According to the Miss Universe organization, she is a “proud advocate for natural beauty and encourages women to love themselves the way they are.”

During final question and answer portion, Zozibini was asked about what we should teach today’s young girls, to which she replied: “I think the most important thing we should be teaching young girls today is leadership. It’s something that has been lacking in young girls and women for a very long time, not because we don’t want to, but because of what society has labelled women to be,” she said.

“I think we are the most powerful beings on the world, and that we should be given every opportunity. And that is what we should be teaching these young girls, to take up space, Tunzi added”

The event was held on Sunday at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. During the press conference, Tunzi added that it was “very special” to win the crown at the major studio complex owned by an African-American.
