Today, Apple TV+ announced the new four-part documentary series “The Enfield Poltergeist,” which tells the riveting story of the most famous poltergeist haunting in history. Combining more than 250 hours of rare audio archive, meticulous recreation of the setting of the haunting and original interviews with the people impacted by the case, the series is an ambitious genre-bending story that explores the human fascination with the unexplained and its impact on those who live it. All episodes premiere globally on Friday, October 27, 2023.

In 1977, the terrifying haunting of an everyday family in Enfield, London, dominated headlines across the United Kingdom and had a tremendous impact on an entire generation of children. The mysterious case forever changed ideas about the supernatural and that it wasn’t just restricted to castles and stately homes but could be experienced by anyone, anywhere. The chilling story has inspired fictionalized versions of the case, including the film “The Conjuring 2,” a television series and two stage plays.

Official Trailer for “All Of Us Strangers” Starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal Released

Written and directed by Andrew Haigh, the film Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott find love in the upcoming film All of Us Strangers, a romantic fantasy that is loosely based on the Strangers novel by Taichi Yamada.

Along with Andrew Scott and Mescal, “All Of Us Strangers” also stars Claire Foy (The Crown) and Jamie Bell (Rocketman) .

Here’s the film’s official synopsis: One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry, which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents, appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

The film is set for release by Searchlight Pictures on December 22, 2023.

Produced by Live Nation, the 32-date leg kicks off on Tuesday, March 26th in Vancouver, BC at Rogers Arena, with stops across North America in Toronto, Montreal, Nashville, Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, New York, and more before wrapping up on Friday, July 19th with a celebratory New England stadium performance at Boston’s iconic Fenway Park with support special guests from Mt. Image Comics reveals another eye-popping set of the highly anticipated team-up variants for the much buzzed about line of covers celebrating Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead 20 year anniversary.

This round of covers includes none other than: Gabriel H. Animation Is Film Festival Line Up Announcement Plus Poster

ANIMATION IS FILM (AIF) announces the 6th edition of its highly anticipated 2023 slate of theatrical presentations, special events, and shorts showcases taking place over five days, October 18-22, in Hollywood. AIF’s Opening Night on Wednesday, October 18 launches with a GKIDS presentation of Studio Ghibli’s THE BOY AND THE HERON, the latest film from legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX. This marks the first time the festival will host a premiere in IMAX at this Hollywood landmark. “The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds and Snakes” Official Trailer 2 Released

Welcome back to Panem. Lionsgate has released the second trailer for “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.”

The film follows a young Coriolanus (Tom Blyth) who is the last hope for his failing lineage, the once-proud Snow family that has fallen from grace in a post-war Capitol. With his livelihood threatened, Snow is reluctantly assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), a tribute from the impoverished District 12.

But after Lucy Gray’s charm captivates the audience of Panem, Snow sees an opportunity to shift their fates. With everything he has worked for hanging in the balance, Snow unites with Lucy Gray to turn the odds in their favor. Battling his instincts for both good and evil, Snow sets out on a race against time to survive and reveal if he will ultimately become a songbird or a snake.

Upon arriving they find it has been overrun by virus-infected “Heps” and extreme right wing local militias who are battling them.

The leader of one of the groups, “Big John Gruber”, shuttles them to safety at his bunker where they are welcomed by a seemingly friendly group of locals, but after witnessing personal and gruesome horrors, the women know they must escape.

Jamie and Alex now find themselves on the run, caught between the group that saved them, a competing militia, and the growing infected Hep threat.

The film follows South Bronx teen Kadir (Asante Blackk), a gifted visual artist who loses his way following the death of his younger brother. Overcome with grief and struggling with the pressures of school and family, he escapes into the thrilling yet dangerous world of graffiti gangs. To prove himself and join his neighborhood’s ruling gang, Kadir tries to rob no-nonsense MTA conductor Luis (Luis Guzmán), but is caught off guard when Luis agrees to give Kadir cash if he’ll sit down to have a meal with him. Following their conversation and the delicate, transformative friendship that grows out of it, Kadir sees for the first time how his artistic talent could lead to a better life.

Directed by Aristotle Torres, with script from Aristotle Torres and Bonsu Thompson, the film stars Asante Blackk, Luis Guzmán, Alex Hibbert, Melvin Gregg, Coral Peña, Cassandra Freeman, Hassan Johnson.

Aristotle Torres is a writer/director out of NYC who developed STORY AVE first as a short film and then through the prestigious Sundance Labs. An accomplished music video director in the past, Aristotle has worked with artists such as J Cole, Nas, 2Chainz, and Ludacris. He has directed commercials and campaigns for brands such as Pepsi, Red Bull, Under Armour, and Starbucks. He also has written and directed short films that have played at various festivals across the world.

Directed by Warren Skeels, “The Man In The White Van” stars Madison Wolfe, Brec Bassinger, Skai Jackson, Ali Larter, and Sean Astin. It is set to have its world premiere at ’23 Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday, October 14.

Inspired by a true story, “The Man in the White Van” follows the harrowing experience of young Annie Williams, a spirited girl whose carefree life is turned upside down as she becomes stalked by an ominous man in a white van. It delves into the eerie underbelly of a seemingly idyllic 1974 Florida town.

The tranquility of Annie’s world, from her love of horseback riding to her leisurely strolls home from school in the nearby woods, begins to crumble as the menacing white van inches closer and closer. As her parents’ skepticism increasingly grows, Annie finds herself psychologically isolated, and on Halloween night her worst fears materialize into a full-blown nightmare as she gets abducted.

“The Man in the White Van” is the feature debut of award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker Warren Skeels. It is based on actual events of the serial killer Billy Mansfield Jr., and captures a bone-chilling story of a young girl’s unimaginable horrors, and every parent’s worst nightmare.
