Shawn Mendes was the big winner at Sunday night’s 2018 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards, winning four awards in total. The 20-year old Canadian recording artist won Artist of the Year, Best Pop Artist or Group, Fan Fave Artist, and Fan Fave Video awards. Mendes had eight nominations.Mendes performed twice during the show, performing “Lost in Japan” and “In My Blood,” his second and lead single respectively from his self-titled third studio album.
Also doing great was fellow artist Drake who won two MMVAs for Best Hip Hop Artist or Group and Best Director alongside Karena Evans for “God’s Plan.” Drake was up for seven nomination.
