Hot off the 2023 Eisner Award winning Do a Powerbomb and skyrocketing to fame with his fresh spin on the Eisner Award nominated Transformers comic book series, Daniel Warren Johnson teams with dynamo artist Riley Rossmo for an all-new, heart-wrenching tale in the upcoming, The Moon is Following Us. This ten issue miniseries was announced in an exclusive scoop at IGN, sees Rossmo’s return to Image Comics, and is set to launch in September.

Sam and Duncan LaMarr love their six-year-old daughter, Penny, more than anything in the whole world. But half a year ago, she was taken by the Cascade, an evil force they barely understand. Eisner and Harvey Award-winning The Good Asian and Infidel creator Pornsak Pichetshote is collaborating with an all-star creative team from across entertainment—including comics, literature, film and television—for The Horizon Experiment, a series of five one-shot comic books, all featuring original protagonists from marginalized backgrounds set in a popular genre and inspired by pop culture icons, where each character’s unique background allows the stories to go into new directions.

“I’m fascinated with taking popular genres, like horror and noir, and seeing what they’d look like from diverse perspectives—I explored this in my Image Comics books Infidel and The Good Asian. But, I’ve been limited to my own experiences.

So, for The Horizon Experiment, I decided to use the same mentality but open it up to other people, inviting some of the most talented people I know to work on it,” said Pichetshote. “Each one-shot is the equivalent of a pilot for a new creator-owned series, with the potential of continuing should there be demand for more. Each team of creators have had different approaches—all of them have knocked me out, and I couldn’t be more proud that the end result is five very unique books, all connected by the same ambitious spirit.”

Fan-favorite artist Andrew Robinson teams up with up-and-coming writer Lee Loughridge (colorist on Deadly Class, The Good Asian) for an all-new, revenge-drenched tale in the upcoming, Standstill. This eight issue miniseries is set to launch this August from Image Comics with an extra-length issue containing 60 double-page spreads of jaw-dropping artwork.

In Standstill, readers meet Ryker Ruel, an enigmatic, lecherous, and clinically insane sociopath who has stolen a top-secret device that can freeze time! Now, as the bodies of world leaders pile up, famous works of art go missing, and other strange crimes dominate the headlines, only the device’s creator, a run-of-the-mill science geek, knows what’s happening and sets out to stop Ryker’s seemingly endless revenge tour.
