Florida Georgia Line’s ‘I Love My Country Tour 2021’ Is Coming To A City Near You

The wait is over – global superstars Florida Georgia Line are returning to the road this fall with their I LOVE MY COUNTRY TOUR 2021, presented by Old Camp and sponsored by T-Mobile. Produced by Live Nation, tickets go on sale next Friday, June 4 at 10 a.m. (local) here.

Kicking off the much-anticipated tour at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta, GA, on September 24, FGL has invited Russell Dickerson as direct support, plus Lauren Alaina and Redferrin as openers on all dates. Marvel Entertainment and SiriusXM To Premiere First Original Scripted Podcast Series, “Marvel’s Wastelanders: Old Man Star-Lord” On June 1

Marvel Entertainment and SiriusXM announced today the launch of their first original scripted podcast series, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Old Man Star-Lord. The first two episodes will be available starting Tuesday, June 1 on the SiriusXM app, Pandora, Stitcher, and all major podcast platforms. The 10-episode series will be released weekly, kicking off season one of Marvel and SiriusXM’s multi-part Marvel’s Wastelanders podcast series, which will feature other Marvel heroes including Old Man Wolverine, Old Man Hawkeye, and Grey Widow.

Marvel’s Wastelanders: Old Man Star-Lord stars Timothy Busfield (The West Wing, For Life) as Star-Lord, Chris Elliott (Schitt’s Creek, Eagleheart) as Rocket, and Nadine Malouf (High Fidelity, The Looming Tower) as Cora. The series will also feature Patrick Page (Hadestown, upcoming The Gilded Age) as Kraven the Hunter, with Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives) as Emma Frost and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon, The Color Purple) as Red.

Mark Millar Confirms Oscar-Winning Writer For WB Nemesis Movie

Comic book superstar Mark Millar – creator of Kick-Ass, Jupiter’s Legacy, The Secret Service & Kingsman – has confirmed to retailer Forbidden Planet that Emerald Fennell – winner of the 2021 Oscar for Original Screenplay (Promising Young Woman) – will pen the script for Millar’s hotly-anticipated Warner Bros adaptation of his critically acclaimed comic book, Nemesis.

Amazon Prime Video Releases Trailer For Brazilian Amazon Original Series DOM

Amazon Prime Video released today the official trailer and key art for the upcoming Brazilian Amazon Original series Dom, a crime drama inspired by the true story of a father and son on opposite sides of the war on drugs in Rio de Janeiro. Featuring eight one hour-long episodes, Dom is produced by Conspiração, with Breno Silveira as showrunner and will premiere on June 4 in more than 240 countries and territories exclusively on Prime Video.

The show follows Victor, a young diver who, by a twist of fate, becomes a military intelligence agent and embraces the war on drugs as his life mission. Over the years, he comes to face the disillusionment of an endless war, and watches his own son, Pedro, succumb to the enemy he tirelessly fought against: cocaine. Pedro turns into an addict as well as one of the most wanted criminals in Rio de Janeiro: Pedro Dom.

Starring alongside Gabriel Leone (Pedro) and Flavio Tolezani (Victor) are Filipe Bragança, Raquel Villar, Isabella Santoni, Ramon Francisco, Digão Ribeiro, Fabio Lago, Julia Konrad and André Mattos, among others. Dom is directed by Vicente Kubrusly and Breno Silveira, who also leads the writing team, which includes Fabio Mendes, Higia Ikeda, Carolina Neves and Marcelo Vindicatto. The series is produced by Renata Brandão e Ramona Bakker from Conspiração. Antonio Pinto composed the original soundtrack.

Dark Sky Films Brings “The Carnivores” to Theaters + VOD on June 4th

Dark Sky Films has set a June 4th theatrical + digital release of THE CARNIVORES, an LGBTQ horror comedy starring Lindsay Burdge (The Invitation, Netflix’ Easy), Tallie Medel (Joy Kevin), and Aiden the dog as Harvie.

The film is Caleb Michael Johnson’s directorial debut, and is written by Johnson and Jeff Bay Smith.

Film Inquiry describes the film “as an effective psychological foray that may be divisive among some but is worth biting into, to really appreciate the talent within. It is successful in being both discomforting and inviting, you won’t know how to look away.”

Here is the film’s official synopsis:
Alice and Bret’s dog Harvie is dying, and he’s ruining everything. What had been a bright little family is quickly being consumed by clouds of self-doubt, suspicion, and a disturbing amount of ground beef. Bret (Lindsay Burdge) is taking the news hard. She’s had Harvie since before the relationship and is startled to find just how much of her sense of self is wrapped up in her history with him. Alice (Tallie Medel) thus finds herself on the outside of a relationship looking in. Bret’s obsession with the dog is getting overtly unhealthy, yet the more Alice attempts to connect, the further Bret retreats.

As the stress on Alice, a vegan, manifests in increasingly strange ways involving sleepwalking and a fascination with meat, she plans to get rid of Harvie to reclaim Bret’s love. But when Alice wakes one night holding an empty leash with no sign of Harvie except his severed ear, she begins to fear she’s become a monster. As each woman sets out in search of what’s been lost, Alice and Bret uncover parts of each other they never suspected, hideous and beautiful alike.
