The Perfect Find is set for release on June 23, 2023. It is also set to have a premiere at Tribeca Festival on June 14, 2023.

Stegman, Porter And Cannon Join Forces For Action Comedy “The Schlub”

Bestselling artist/writer Ryan Stegman (Vanish, Venom) and Superboy writer Kenny Porter team up with Beef Bros artist Tyrell Cannon, colorist Mike Spicer and letterer/designer John J. Hill for an action/comedy in the upcoming The Schlub. This all new ongoing series is set to launch in August from Image Comics.

The Schlub follows failing dentist Roger Dalton who blames the world for his problems… up until he is body-swapped with the world’s greatest superhero. Can Roger save Earth and finally prove to his family he’s not a loser? Or are we all doomed?

“A few years back I pitched Image a comic that I would write and draw about a Michael Scott/Kenny Powers type character if they became a superhero that the entire world relied on. It was approved and I had started work on it when Marvel came along and asked me to do a little book called Venom,” said Stegman. “I couldn’t say no, but I couldn’t shake this idea of the superhero that just can’t do the right thing. Film Feature: Coming of Age Drama “Stay Awake” With Wyatt Oleff, Fin Argus & Chrissy Metz

The American indie debut drama is a fictionalized account of the filmmaker’s coming of age, as he struggles to get out from under the yoke of a prescription-drug-addicted mother in small-town Virginia.

Jamie Sisley’s coming of age film stars Wyatt Oleff (“It”, “City On Fire”), Fin Argus (“Queer As Folk”, “Clouds”), and Chrissy Metz (“This Is Us”).

The film opens on Friday May 19 at Film Forum in NYC and May 25 at Laemmle Royal in LA.

Life in the last, lame-duck months of high school, with a job at the Jolly Cow ice cream drive-in, would be cringe-inducing enough without a deeply depressed, self-destructive mother (Chrissy Metz, star of “This is Us”). Wyatt Oleff (“City on fire”) and Fin Argus (“Queer As Folks”) play teenage brothers stuck in a cycle of discovering their mom passed out, dragging her to the hospital, and encouraging rehab.

“The Future” is an official selection in the International Narrative Competition at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival on June 7-18, 2023. Released the film’s poster and trailer.

In the film, a world-renowned profiler is on a mission to study the motives of a young Palestinian woman who assassinated the Israeli Minister of Space and Tourism. From their intense encounter emerges a deep examination of female identity and motherhood.

At 42, Dr. Bloch (Reymonde Amsellem), a profiler, wants a child. A future. Her only way is to find a surrogate mother. The film is the inspiring true story of Richard Montañez (Jesse Garcia) who as a Frito Lay janitor disrupted the food industry by channeling his Mexican American heritage to turn Flamin’ Hot Cheetos from a snack into an iconic global pop culture phenomenon.

The biographical comedy-drama film is directed by Eva Longoria, and stars Sons of Anarchy’s Jesse Garcia as Montañez while Annie Gonzalez is playing his wife, Judy.

Also in the film are Emilio Rivera, Dennis Haysbert, Pepe Serna, Tony Shalhoub, and TikTok star Brice Gonzalez.

Tribeca Festival Announces Return Of The Music Lounge

The 2023 Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX, today announced the second annual Music Lounge at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, featuring four days and nights of exclusive performances, special guest appearances, insider talks, and more. The Tribeca Music Lounge, sponsored by Tubi, is open to the public from June 8-11 and offers Festival attendees the opportunity to experience the intersection of film and music.

The Music Lounge highlights four distinct experiences, kicking off with an “Indie Sleaze Revival” featuring New York City artists Tei Shi and Frost Children.

The weekend follows with a musical performance by David Duchovny, ahead of the world premiere of his film Bucky F*cking Dent; the first U.S. show of Australian Grammy-nominated artist Jitwam; R&B performance by the legendary Eddie Chacon; and an Iranian showcase with artists LuNika – the brother-sister duo behind the viral Iranian protest song “Women Life Freedom” – Habibi and Sussan Deyhim. Tony S. Daniel Launches War-Torn Fantasy Epic “Edenwood” This September
