Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” Cast Takes Shape

Quentin Tarantino’s already impressive ensemble cast for his upcoming film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” just got even bigger as the production adds James Marsden (X-Men, Westworld) and Julia Butters (American Housewife), Variety announced Friday.

Just a day earlier, Al Pacino joined the film, which is set in 1969 Los Angeles with the Charles Manson murders serving as the backdrop to the story.

The film follows Rick Dalton (played by Leonardo DiCaprio), the former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. Margot Robbie is set to portray actress Sharon Tate.

Others previously announced as part of the ensemble are Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Margot Robbie, Luke Perry, Clifton Collins Jr., Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Keith Jefferson, and Nicholas Hammond.

Tarantino is writing, directing and producing the film. Filming is expected to start this summer and will be released by Sony.

“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ hits theaters August 9, 2019, 50 years after the Tate-LaBianca murders.

Led Zeppelin Reunite For A New Book

Led Zeppelin have reunited to work on a new book “Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin” which serves to commemorate their 50th anniversary, the band announced on twitter.

The book marks the first official illustrated book in collaboration with the band members and includes career-spanning photographs, many of which unpublished.

“Work on the official book “Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin” is almost complete. The images have been carefully selected and annotated throughout by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones.”

Led Zeppelin By Led Zeppelin is set to be published in October through Reel Art Press. Pre-order is now available and cost $69.95.

“Celebrating 50 years since the band’s formation, it covers the group’s unparalleled musical career and features photographs of Led Zeppelin on and offstage from their very first moments together,” the announcement continues. “This definitive 400-page volume includes previously unpublished photos, artwork from the Led Zeppelin archives and contributions from photographers around the world.”

More than 10 years ago, the band famously reunited for the massively successful “Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert” in London. Last April, Led Zeppelin released their first single in 21 years, a 7″ single “Rock and Roll (Sunset Sound Mix)”/”Friends (Olympic Studio Mix).”

Ryan Gosling Is Neil Armstrong In “First Man” Trailer

“This isn’t just another trip, Neil. You’re not just going to work,” says Armstrong’s wife Janet (Claire Foy) in the trailer.

Ryan Gosling and director Damien Chazelle reunites for biographical space adventure drama “First Man”, based on the true story of astronaut Neil Armstrong’s mission to be the first human to set foot on the moon, with Gosling playing the titular role.

This is Gosling and Chazelle’s follow-up to “La La Land,” which earn a record-tying 14 Oscar nominations last year.

“Experience the impossible journey to the moon,” the tagline on the poster says, suggesting the film may deal with plenty of adventure in addition to its inherent biographical story.

The film is based on the book “First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong” by James R. Hansen, and is written by Josh Singer, who won an academy award for Best Original Screenplay for Spotlight.

If that’s not enough, the film have some major talents involved. In addition to Gosling and Foy, the film co-stars Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Patrick Fugit, Ciaran Hinds, Ethan Embry, Shea Whigham, Corey Stoll, and Pablo Schreiber.

“First Man” is set to be released by Universal Pictures on October 12, 2018.

Midem Music Awards To Launch In 2019

Toothless Finds Romance In “How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” Trailer

Today, DreamWorks Animation has dropped the first look trailer for the third and final film in its How to Train Your Dragon franchise.

Jay Baruchel is reprising his a nerdy young Viking role Hiccup, as well as Cate Blanchett as Hiccup’s mom, America Ferrera as his fellow student in dragon training and love interest Astrid, and Jonah Hill as a fellow dragon rider Snotlout. F. Murray Abraham joins the cast as the villain Grimmel.

The trailer’s focus here is Toothless finding romance with an untamed, elusive dragon, their discovery of a hidden dragon world, and the threat of a dragon hunter who sets his sights on Toothless. “I’ve hunted every night fury, except yours,” the baddie said.

Directed by helmer of original “How to Train Your Dragon” and its sequel Dean DeBlois, Universal Pictures is set to release “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” in theaters March 1, 2019. Watch the new trailer below.

2018 CMT Music Awards: Complete Winners List

Country music honored its biggest stars Wednesday night, with Blake Shelton taking home the biggest trophy of the night, Video of the Year. The song is Shelton’s first single off his 2017 album Texoma Shore and also won Male Video of the Year.

“I’ve been doing this for 18 years. I have been making records and luckily enough you guys have accepted them,” said Shelton. “It’s been a crazy ride.”

Carrie Underwood also had a great night, winning Female Video of the Year, thereby extending her title as the most-awarded artists in CMT history.

The 2018 CMT Music Awards aired live on Wednesday night from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Bradley Cooper And Lady Gaga In “A Star Is Born” Trailer

Lady Gaga takes the stage with Bradley Cooper in the first look trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ “A Star Is Born,” a remake of the 1937 eponymous classic film.

“I don’t sing my own songs. I just don’t feel comfortable. Almost every single person has told me they like the way I sounded but they didn’t like the way I look,” ,” Ally (Gaga) tells Jackson (Cooper) in the trailer.

The film is Gaga’s big screen debut as a lead and Cooper’s first as a director. Cooper also co-wrote the script with Will Fetters and Eric Roth. Gaga previously had a minor role in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For (2014), and major role in the TV series American Horror Story: Hotel for which she won a Golden Globe.

Part of the film was shot last year during Coachella. Original songs were also composed for the film, some of which was teased in the trailer, including a snippet of “The Shallow” which was co-penned by Mark Ronson, Gaga’s collaborator in her Joanne album.

This marks the third remake of the original 1937 film: the first was in 1954 which starred Judy Garland and James Mason, then again in 1976 with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

“A Star is Born” is set to hit theaters October 5.

Underwood, Carey, Clarkson Set To Take Stage At iHeartRadio Music Festival

The lineup for this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival has finally been announced, and it’s an eclectic list of some of the country’s biggest performers from different music genres.

Justin Timberlake, Jack White, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean are among the artists headlining the festival, set to take place in Las Vegas latest his summer, the festival announced Tuesday morning.

The two day event will take place on September 21 and 22 at the T-Mobile Arena, with Ryan Seacrest returning to host the events.

“There’s no other concert with a lineup as diverse at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Spooky “Suspiria” Trailer Unveiled

We finally have a first look at Luca Guadagnino has in store for his “Suspiria” reboot as Amazon Studios debuts its first trailer.

The film is Guadagnino’s remake of the eponymous 1977 Italian horror classic starring Jessica Harper and directed by Dario Argento. Harper is back the new film in a secondary role.

Dakota Johnson will play Harper’s role as a student who travels to Europe to perfect her dancing in a renowned dance academy, while Swinton will play Madame Blanc, the vice-directress of the academy.

Last April, the film cause quite a stir at CinemaCon in Last Vegas after Amazon teased an intense and grizzly scene from the film which surprised the audience. “We wanted to immerse the audience in a world that was given no way out,” says Guadagnino.

The film is a clear departure from his previous film “Call Me by Your Name” received accolades and widespread acclaim. Also interesting to note: Thom Yorke, Radiohead singer and songwriter composed the film’s score.

“Suspiria” is due out on November 2. Here is the film’s official synopsis:

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Tilda Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Dakota Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Lutz Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.
