Toothless Finds Romance In “How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” Trailer

Today, DreamWorks Animation has dropped the first look trailer for the third and final film in its How to Train Your Dragon franchise.

Jay Baruchel is reprising his a nerdy young Viking role Hiccup, as well as Cate Blanchett as Hiccup’s mom, America Ferrera as his fellow student in dragon training and love interest Astrid, and Jonah Hill as a fellow dragon rider Snotlout. F. Murray Abraham joins the cast as the villain Grimmel.

The trailer’s focus here is Toothless finding romance with an untamed, elusive dragon, their discovery of a hidden dragon world, and the threat of a dragon hunter who sets his sights on Toothless. “I’ve hunted every night fury, except yours,” the baddie said.

Directed by helmer of original “How to Train Your Dragon” and its sequel Dean DeBlois, Universal Pictures is set to release “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” in theaters March 1, 2019. Watch the new trailer below.

Now chief and ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, Hiccup has created a gloriously chaotic dragon utopia. 2018 CMT Music Awards: Complete Winners List

Country music honored its biggest stars Wednesday night, with Blake Shelton taking home the biggest trophy of the night, Video of the Year. The song is Shelton’s first single off his 2017 album Texoma Shore and also won Male Video of the Year.

“I’ve been doing this for 18 years. I have been making records and luckily enough you guys have accepted them,” said Shelton. “It’s been a crazy ride.”

Carrie Underwood also had a great night, winning Female Video of the Year, thereby extending her title as the most-awarded artists in CMT history.

The 2018 CMT Music Awards aired live on Wednesday night from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Bradley Cooper And Lady Gaga In “A Star Is Born” Trailer

Lady Gaga takes the stage with Bradley Cooper in the first look trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ “A Star Is Born,” a remake of the 1937 eponymous classic film.

“I don’t sing my own songs. I just don’t feel comfortable. Almost every single person has told me they like the way I sounded but they didn’t like the way I look,” ,” Ally (Gaga) tells Jackson (Cooper) in the trailer.

The film is Gaga’s big screen debut as a lead and Cooper’s first as a director. Cooper also co-wrote the script with Will Fetters and Eric Roth. Gaga previously had a minor role in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For (2014), and major role in the TV series American Horror Story: Hotel for which she won a Golden Globe.

Part of the film was shot last year during Coachella. Original songs were also composed for the film, some of which was teased in the trailer, including a snippet of “The Shallow” which was co-penned by Mark Ronson, Gaga’s collaborator in her Joanne album.

This marks the third remake of the original 1937 film: the first was in 1954 which starred Judy Garland and James Mason, then again in 1976 with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

“A Star is Born” is set to hit theaters October 5.

Marvel Announces New CLOAK AND DAGGER Digital Exclusive Comic Series

Ahead of their television debut this Thursday night on Freeform, Marvel is excited to announce a new CLOAK AND DAGGER digital exclusive comic series written by Dennis Hopeless (Spider-Woman) with art by David Messina! The 6-issue monthly limited series begins today, and readers can download the first issue right now in the Marvel Comics App or on ComiXology and Kindle.

After meeting as runaways, vigilante teenagers Tyrone (“Cloak”) Johnson and Tandy (“Dagger”) Bowen were illegally experimented on and gifted with mysterious powers. As the living personifications of light and dark, their complementary abilities force them to rely on each other as they team up to save innocent people on the streets of New York, and around the world. This in-continuity Digital Series has been specifically designed to welcome new readers while giving long-time Marvelites the latest eagerly-awaited chapter in this fan-favorite duo’s story.

“With CLOAK AND DAGGER, we’re telling the story from two very different perspectives at the same time,” writer Dennis Hopeless told Marvel.com in an interview. “Tyrone and Tandy are fundamentally intertwined characters, but they see the world through different lenses. It’s been a lot of fun playing with that shifting perspective. We let the reader into each of their heads, sometimes even showing the same scene from two different angles. Just like in life, it’s the differences that propel the drama.”

Underwood, Carey, Clarkson Set To Take Stage At iHeartRadio Music Festival

The lineup for this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival has finally been announced, and it’s an eclectic list of some of the country’s biggest performers from different music genres.

Justin Timberlake, Jack White, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean are among the artists headlining the festival, set to take place in Las Vegas latest his summer, the festival announced Tuesday morning.

The two day event will take place on September 21 and 22 at the T-Mobile Arena, with Ryan Seacrest returning to host the events.

“There’s no other concert with a lineup as diverse at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. We pride ourselves on inviting the most eclectic lineup of headliners you’ll ever see on one stage,” said Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia. “This Festival has the best artists from every style of music heard on iHeartRadio stations across America, giving both artists and our listeners a once-in a lifetime experience.”

Spooky “Suspiria” Trailer Unveiled

We finally have a first look at Luca Guadagnino has in store for his “Suspiria” reboot as Amazon Studios debuts its first trailer.

The film is Guadagnino’s remake of the eponymous 1977 Italian horror classic starring Jessica Harper and directed by Dario Argento. Harper is back the new film in a secondary role.

Dakota Johnson will play Harper’s role as a student who travels to Europe to perfect her dancing in a renowned dance academy, while Swinton will play Madame Blanc, the vice-directress of the academy.

Last April, the film cause quite a stir at CinemaCon in Last Vegas after Amazon teased an intense and grizzly scene from the film which surprised the audience. “We wanted to immerse the audience in a world that was given no way out,” says Guadagnino.

The film is a clear departure from his previous film “Call Me by Your Name” received accolades and widespread acclaim. Also interesting to note: Thom Yorke, Radiohead singer and songwriter composed the film’s score.

“Suspiria” is due out on November 2. Here is the film’s official synopsis:

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Tilda Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Dakota Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Lutz Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.

Disney Princesses In New “Wreck-It Ralph 2”

Disney Princesses make a special appearance in the latest trailer for “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2,” the sequel to the 2012 animated comedy from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

The new film picks up six years later, with Ralph and Vanellope going into an adventure on the internet, to find a part to save Vanellope’s game Sugar Rush.

The highlight of the trailer comes in the end where Vanellope, revealed in the first film to be a princess herself, encounters famed Disney princesses and argues with them that she is one too.

John C. Reilly returns as the voice of the titular character, a gigantic but soft-hearted man and villain of the fictional arcade game Fix-It Felix Jr. The original was a bit hit for Walt Disney Pictures, grossing $471.2 million worldwide in 2012.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 features the voices of Sarah Silverman as Vanellope von Schweetz, Jack McBrayer as Fix-It Felix, Jr., Jane Lynch as Sergeant Calhoun and Taraji P. Henson as Yesss.

The film is set for release on November 21, 201.

Villains Are The Stars In “LEGO DC Super-Villains” Trailer

Interactive Entertainment and TT Game have released a trailer for its new Lego game “LEGO DC Super-Villains,” which is set to release October 16 on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox One, confirming rumors that has been around for a few months now about the existence of the game.

Here, game players can create customizable super villain, who will be the main character to team-up with iconic super-villains Harley Quinn, The Joker, Poison Ivy and Lex Luthor among others in order to “foil the evil plans the incognito strangers have in store.”

As players progress in the game, players can upgrade the character with more powers and abilities to their custom villain.

Recently, Warner Bros. Games and TT Games have teased the game, after posting a tweet the says “chaos is coming.” It certain looks like action packed, hilarious and fun game to look forward to.

Tom Cruise Announces Production of “Top Gun: Maverick”

It may have been a long road to production, but the sequel to the hugely successful 80s film is finally happening, the film’s star Tom Cruise himself announced on Twitter. “#Day1” the tweet says, officially confirming the start of “Top Gun: Maverick” production.

“Feel The Need,” it says on the picture of Maverick in fighter jet gear, looking back at a jet and holding a helmet. That caption is taken from one of the original film’s famous tagline “I feel the need, the need for speed.”

The actor revealed the title last year during an interview with Access Hollywood. “I don’t need a number, you don’t need a number,” Cruise said. Indeed, it is a perfectly fitting title, as it is one of his most recognizable film characters.

“Maverick” of course is Cruise’s character nickname in the 1986 film where he played LT Pete Mitchell, a reckless young naval aviator aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise. The global success of the original film made Cruise a bonafide star. After grossing $356m worldwide against a modest $15 million budget, it was the highest grossing film that year.

From there, Cruise went on to be come one the biggest stars in Hollywood, with successive blockbuster hits including a long the highly successful Mission Impossible franchise, the latest installment of which is set for release this summer.

The film is set to be directed by Joseph Kosinski. The director previously collaborated with Cruise on “Oblivion” and also directed “Only the Brave” and “Tron: Legacy.”

“Top Gun: Maverick” is set to fly on July 12, 2019.
