Pantera, one of the most successful and influential bands in heavy metal history, have announced their long awaited return to the stage. They will be touring North America this summer with Lamb of God as special guests.

One of the most anticipated tours of 2023, this celebration tour includes original members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by Zakk Wylde (guitar) and Charlie Benante (drums). In December 2022, they kicked off the highly anticipated return in Mexico City to incredible reviews.

Produced by Live Nation, the 20-city tour kicks off on Tuesday, July 28th in Burgettstown, PA at The Pavilion at Star Lake making stops in Milwaukee, Toronto, Austin, Denver, and more before wrapping up in Bristow, VA on September 15th at Jiffy Lube Live.

Stephen Curry, Ryan Coogler, & More Premiere “Stephen Curry: Underrated” At Sundance 2023

Award-winning filmmaker Peter Nicks documentary is an intimate look at NBA superstar Stephen Curry’s improbable coming of age at tiny Davidson College, where, under the wing of coach Bob McKillop, the team made a thrilling run in the 2008 NCAA tournament. Image Comics has revealed the eerily-toned cover artwork that will set the vibe for the highly anticipated series W0rldtr33 from bestselling writer James Tynion IV (The Department of Truth, The Nice House on the Lake, Something is Killing the Children) and his Razorblades collaborator artist Fernando Blanco (Detective Comics, Catwoman). First teased in the pages of the Image! 30th anniversary anthology, the new thriller is set to launch in April from Image.

Global Icon Seal Announces 30th Anniversary North American Tour

GRAMMY® award-winning global icon Seal will embark on a massive 30TH Anniversary Tour across North America this spring. Produced by Live Nation, he will team up with longtime producer and trusted collaborator Trevor Horn, who will take on the role of musical director for the run of shows; additionally, Horn’s acclaimed new wave band The Buggles will be featured as special guest performers.

The six-week run begins on April 25 in Phoenix, AZ at Arizona Financial Theatre and will make stops at famed venues such as the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY on May 23 and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on June 7. Decentralized Pictures and Web3 production company Decrypt Studios will present FILM3 On the Mountain in Park City on Saturday January 21. The event will feature a panel discussion on the benefits and drawbacks of blockchain technology for filmmakers, as well as a chance to network with leaders in film and television.

A 501c3 non-profit founded by Roman Coppola, Leo Matchett, Michael Musante, and American Zoetrope, Decentralized Pictures (DCP) is dedicated to elevating the voices of independent filmmakers through a fair blockchain protocol. DCP has launched partnerships with filmmaker/producer Kevin Smith and not-for-profit The Gotham to create financing awards for undiscovered talent.

At the conclusion of FILM3 on the Mountain, Steven Soderbergh will be on hand to announce the winner of the first Andrews/Bernard Award, which his production company Extension 765 launched on the DCP platform in 2022 to discover and support emerging talent in the film industry. The award will support three filmmakers with finishing funds for fiction features or shorts worth $100,000 each.

Prime Video has released the official trailer for the upcoming new film “Somebody I Used To Know” from Dave Franco, who wrote and directed the film. The romantic comedy film features Franco’s his wife Alison Brie, who also co-wrote the script.

Also in the film are Kiersey Clemons, Jay Ellis, Julie Hagerty, Haley Joel Osment and Amy Sedaris.

Franco has also directed Brie in the 2020 horror film The Rental.

In “Somebody I Used To Know”, Ally (Brie) who reunites with an ex-boyfriend on a trip, makes her start to question all of her prior life choices. The turn of events gets confusing when she meets Cassidy (Clemons), a younger woman who reminds her of the person she used to be.

“Somebody I Used To Know” is set for release February 10, 2023 on Prime Video.

Trailer For Netflix’s Upcoming Film “True Spirit” Released

A tenacious Australian teen chases her dreams, and faces her fears, as she sets out to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world.

That is the premise of Netflix’s autobiographical drama “True Spirit”.

In the film, an Australian teenager plans to become the youngest sailor to have travelled the world alone. In doing so, the intrepid 16-year-old not only seeks to fulfil her dream, she also faces her greatest fears at the same time.

The film stars Teagan Croft, Cliff Curtis, Anna Paquin, and Josh Lawson. The film is directed by Sarah Spillane from the screenplay of Sarah Spillane, Cathy Randall.

Netflix is set to release “True Spirit” on February 3, 2023.

Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel Crowned Miss Universe 2022

Fashion designer and model Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel has been crowned as the new Miss Universe on Saturday night, held in New Orleans, Louisiana at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

This makes her the first Miss USA to wear the crown since Olivia Culpo in 2012. According to thee Miss Universe organization, R’Bonney is an eco-friendly fashion designer, model, and sewing instructor with an excitement for life. She attributes her opportunistic outlook to her upbringing immersed in the arts, sports, and travel.

During the Q&A portion of the three finalists, Gabriel was asked how she would represent Miss Universe “an empowering and progressive organization” if she were to win, to which she replied: “I would use it to be a transformational leader,” she responded, citing her background in fashion design as a teacher in the field.

The 28 years old, competed against 83 other participants from around the world. First runner Up went to Miss Venezuela’s Amanda Dudamel, withh Dominican Republic’s Andreina Martinez winning second runner up.

The pageant also included a costume show portion, wherein Gabriel’s outfit paid tribute to NASA’s Apollo 11 lunar landing.

Last year’s winner was Harnaaz Sandhu of India was in attendance to pass her crown and title of Miss Universe to her successor. Former Miss USA and Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo and TV host Jeannie Mai Jenkins hosted the event which comprised of swimsuit, evening gown and interview portions.
