“Boneyard” Starring Mel Gibson, 50 Cent Official Trailer Released

boneyard-mel-gibson-50-centLionsgate has released the official trailer for “Boneyard”, the upcoming film from director Asif Akbar (The Commando, Nevada Heist).

Inspired by true events, the upcoming crime thriller stars Brian Van Holt, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Nora Zehetner, Michael Sirow, and Mel Gibson.

“Boneyard” follows an FBI special agent and the Albuquerque police department hunt for a serial killer nicknamed The Bone Collector. The chief of police and one of his officers, however, believe someone in the department may be the killer.

Boneyard is set for release in US theaters on July 5, and on VOD in the US and Canada on July 2, 2024.

Final Trailer for Dev Patel and Producer Jordan Peele “Monkey Man”

Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have released the first trailer for “Boy Kills World”, the action film produced by Sam Raimi and directed by German filmmaker Moritz Mohr.

“Boy Kills World” stars Skarsgård as “Boy” who vows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Janssen), the deranged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty that left the boy orphaned, deaf and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, Boy trains with a mysterious shaman (Ruhian) to become an instrument of death and is set loose on the eve of the annual culling of dissidents.

Bedlam ensues as Boy commits bloody martial arts mayhem, inciting a wrath of carnage and blood-letting. As he tries to get his bearings in this delirious realm, Boy soon falls in with a desperate resistance group, all the while bickering with the apparent ghost of his rebellious little sister.

“Boy Kills World” had its world premiere at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, and also features Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, Andrew Koji, and Sharlto Copley, with Boy’s inner voice by Archer and Bob’s Burgers‘ H. Jon Benjamin.

“Boy Kills World” will be released theatrically on April 26.

Filmmaker Phil Allocco is a feature film and commercial writer/director. His work has garnered over 60 awards and nominations. He was one of the short-listed directors picked by Steven Spielberg from a world-wide search of over 12,000 directors for his US TV series ‘On the Lot’ for FOX TV. His feature film ‘The Truth About Lies,’ was released theatrically in 2017 and won 14 awards at festivals including “The Best Of Fest” at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

“5LBS OF PRESSURE” is set for release in Theaters, On Digital and On Demand in the US and Canada on March 8.

First Official Trailer For “Twisters”, Universal Sequel Starring Glen Powell & Daisy Edgar-Jones

The thrilling first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 film “Twister,” has finally been released.

“Twisters” is an update to the 1996 film, which centered on a pair of storm chasers who risk their lives in an attempt to test an experimental weather alert system.

Twisters is written by Mark. L Smith (The Revenant) and directed by Lee Isaac Chung (the Oscar-nominated writer-director of Minari).

The film stars Glen Powell, Katy O’Brian, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Daryl McCormack, Kiernan Shipka, Maura Tierney.

Twisters is expected to drop into the theaters on July 19, 2024.

The 51st Annual Saturn Award Winners Announcement

Hosted for the second year in a row by actor/comedian Joel McHale, star of DC’s Stargirl and Community, the event was heavily attended by Hollywood stars supporting and contributing to honor the exceptional body of work and talent in these categories of entertainment, most often overlooked by other Award Shows.

The 51st Annual Saturn Awards took place last night (February 4, 2024) at the L.A. MARRIOTT BURBANK AIRPORT HOTEL and was available for fans to watch live on ElectricNOW, the premium OTT app and FAST channel from Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment. Fans who missed the event can watch it on the streaming channel as it reruns the momentous event throughout the month.

Christopher Nolan was presented with The Saturn’s Visionary Award by “Oppenheimer” co-star Emily Blunt who won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film. The legendary pop icon William Shatner presented Seth MacFarlane with the prestigious Robert Forster Artists Award and Dave Filoni received his George Pal Memorial Award by Ming-Na Wen who won last year’s Best TV Actress for her role in “The Book of Boba Fett.”

The heist comedy film follows an international heist crew, led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart), race to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane at 40,000 feet.

Directed by F. Gary Gray from a screenplay written by Daniel Kunka, “Lift” stars Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, and Sam Worthington.

Lift is set for release on Netflix on January 12.
