First Trailer for “Dear Santa” Starring Jack Black Released.

dear-santaA new trailer has been released for the upcoming Christmas comedy film directed by Bobby Farrelly.

In the film, Liam writes to Santa asking him to prove that he’s real. But Liam is dyslexic and accidentally sends his letter to Satan instead, who shows up at Liam’s house, excited to have his first fanboy letter and wanting a little of Liam’s soul.

The film stars Robert Timothy Smith, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, P.J. Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker, Kai Cech, Post Malone, Gavin Munn.

“Dear Santa” will premiere on the Paramount+ on November 25th.

Based on Carys Bexington’s bestselling book, the star-studded animated holiday musical movie is set for release in the U.S. on Prime Video and Hulu on Nov. 15 and in the U.K. on Sky Cinema on Dec. 13.

It is produced by Universal Pictures Content Group and Lupus Films.

Here’s the film’s synopsis:
It’s St Nick’s turn for an adventure down the rabbit hole. There he meets the Mad Hatter, recast as a high-fashion, reindeer-loving tea party host; the White Rabbit, an endearingly scatty and forgetful character; the Queen of Hearts, a Scrooge-esque tinsel-hater, her antagonistic sidekick, the Cheshire Cat and Alice herself, whose kindness helps St. Nick save Christmas.

The film has a unique approach and takes a new spin on the haunted house genre: it is shot entirely from the perspective of the ghost that is terrorizing the family. The new trailer does an excellent job in showing this without giving too much of the story away.

Written by David Koepp, the chilling film stars Callina Liang, Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Eddy Maday, Julia Fox and West Mulholland.

“Presence” is set to open on January 24.

The cast includes Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, Gong Yoo, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk is returning to helm this new season.

Squid Game season 2 will release on December 26, 2024.

Horror Thriller “Drive Back” Sets Release Date
