Marvel Comics is celebrating Pride Month this year with a monumental giant-sized one-shot showcasing some of comics’ most iconic LGBTQAI+ heroes in an incredible range of stories by LGBTQAI+ superstars and emerging talent.

Today, fans can get their first look at a brand-new variant cover for 2022’s MARVEL’S VOICES: PRIDE drawn by superstar artist Olivier Coipel.

Once again lending his acclaimed talents to Marvel’s Pride Month celebration, Coipel’s extraordinary cover showcases three of Marvel’s most prominent LGBTQAI+ heroes: The mutant speedster and first openly gay Marvel hero Northstar, divine warrior Angela, and breakout Young Avenger and star of the upcoming DEFENDERS BEYOND, America Chavez. Megastar artist Todd McFarlane reveals the SCORCHED #6 cover artwork, the final of the four connecting covers that pays homage to Jim Lee’s historic X-MEN #1 covers.

This marks the first time McFarlane has drawn a four-cover connecting artwork spread in his career. SCORCHED issues #3 through #6 connect to create one stunning piece of artwork commemorating SPAWN’s 30th anniversary in 2022.

McFarlane said: “The X-Men and Jim Lee’s artwork have inspired a whole generation of new comic book artists, and I wanted to tip my hat to Jim’s enormous impact on our industry. This marked the first time I have done any connecting covers, let alone four of them! I hope to keep reminding new customers that there was a time in the 1990s when our industry was near the zenith of excitement and innovative styles. Jim Lee was helping to lead that pack.”

McFarlane’s SCORCHED #1, launched in January 2022, set the sales record for the “Biggest New Team Book” from the past 30 years. This supergroup of heroes and villains includes Spawn, Cy-Gor, Overtkil, Redeemer, Gunslinger, Haunt, Soul Crusher, Medieval Spawn, She-Spawn, and more fan-favorite characters waiting in the wings.

Joining Mcfarlane on this issue is writer Sean Lewis, artist Stephen Segovia, and colorist Ulises Arreola with lettering by AndWorld Design. In addition to McFarlane’s cover, SCORCHED #6 will offer two alternate covers, including a cover by Björn Barends and a magnificent Blank Black Sketch cover.

Debuted earlier today on IGN, the preview shows the exact moment where the Fortnite and Marvel universes collide and Spider-Man realizing that it’ll take the greatest heroes from both to save all of reality.

Written by veteran Marvel writer Christos Gage and Epic Games’ Chief Creative Officer Donald Mustard and drawn by acclaimed artist Sergio Dávila, the comic’s story follows the inhabitants on the Island who are locked in what seems to be a never-ending war, and only one thing has the potential to turn the tide—a crystallized fragment of the Zero Point that was cast into the Marvel Universe! “There’ll be a few things you see in both the game and the comic—mostly in our final issue,” Gage explained to IGN in an exclusive interview. “But for the most part, what happens in the game and what happens in the comic are different fronts in the same war.
