Trailer For “Joan”, New ITV Series Starring Sophie Turner

ITV has released the trailer for its new series ‘Joan’, the upcoming six-part drama starring Sophie Turner (‘Game of Thrones’).

Directed by Richard Laxton, “Joan” is created and written by Anna Symon and also stars Frank Dillaine, Kirsty J Curtis, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr and Laura Aikman.

It will be aired by the CW starting Tuesday, October 2.

Here’s the synopsis for “Joan”:

A woman who goes between her thriving and daring career as a jewel thief, all whilst trying to get her daughter back from social services, we see a mother in despair swept up in the exhilarating world of crime.

Comedy Central’s “Everybody Still Hates Chris” To Premiere Wednesday, September 25th

everybody-still-hates-chrisComedy Central today announced the premiere date of its highly anticipated adult animated series, Everybody Still Hates Chris. The reimagined series starring and executive produced by Chris Rock premieres Wednesday, September 25 at 10pm ET/PT.

Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold also star alongside Tim Johnson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, and Gunnar Sizemore. The series is produced by CBS Studios and Chris Rock Enterprises, in association with 3 Arts Entertainment.

Everybody Still Hates Chris will feature Chris Rock (“Rustin,” “Fargo”) as “Adult Chris,” narrating stories inspired by his experience growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s. Terry Crews (“America’s Got Talent”, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) will voice “Julius,” Chris’ father who is a gentle giant with a relentless work ethic, and tightwad approach to life. He grew up dirt poor, so he knows the cost of everything down to the penny. He works two jobs to support the family, and on his days off, he takes on a third job. Tichina Arnold (“The Neighborhood”) will voice “Rochelle,” Chris’ mother who is smart, strong-willed, and has a nurturing spirit, but she can also be hot-headed, especially when it comes to her kids. She tolerates zero nonsense, so she quits more jobs in a month than most people do in a lifetime.

Official Trailer for Secret World of Sound With David Attenborough

As Attenborough says in the show, “the natural world is filled with sound, but so far we’ve been hearing only part of it,” and the Netflix series showcases those sounds.

In the documentary, advanced audio tech reveals never-before-heard animal behaviors: caiman chirping in eggs, lions and hyenas nocturnal skirmishes, puzzling fish humming, avian mimicry precision.

AMC Networks Heads To San Diego With A Star-Studded Panel Lineup For Five Series At This Year’s Comic-Con Int’l

amc-networksAMC Networks announced today its lineup of five star-studded series panels at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA, including the Walking Dead Universe series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol and The Walking Dead: Dead City; the Anne Rice Immortal Universe series Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches; and the final season of Snowpiercer.

Fans will get an exclusive first-look at trailers and teases from the highly anticipated second seasons of Dead City and Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, which premieres on Sunday, September 29 on AMC and AMC+. Attendees will be treated to an advance screening of the second episode of Snowpiercer’s final season, followed by a panel with cast and executive producers.

Additionally, the casts and creative teams from Interview with the Vampire, which was recently renewed for a third season, and Mayfair Witches, returning early next year, will discuss their respective series and debut new teases. “Heart of an Oak” Premiering on the Icon Film Channel 10th June

Heart-of-an-OakIcon Film Distribution has announced the release of “Heart of an Oak” this summer. The documentary follows a year in the life of a majestic, 210-year-old oak tree and its many inhabitants, exploring the immensely rich universe thriving beneath its branches.

Featuring a unique cast including squirrels, birds, ants and mice, and packed with humour, joy and heart-in-your-mouth action.

The film will be available exclusively in the UK on the Icon Film Channel from 10th June, in UK Cinemas from 12th July and then on Digital Download from 12th August.

Commenting on the film, directors Laurent Charbonnier & Michel Seydoux said; “Considered the king of trees, the oak symbolizes power and durability: it is the largest and most majestic tree of our forests in the Northern Hemisphere. “Dead Boy Detectives” stars Lukas Gage, Briana Cuoco, Caitlin Reilly, Yuyu Kitamura, Max Jenkins. It is set in the same universe another Neil Gaiman Netflix series “The Sandman” that debuted in August 2022.

Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine decided not to enter the afterlife to stay on Earth and investigate crimes that involve supernatural stuff.

Riley Keough & Lily Gladstone Search for a Killer in “Under the Bridge”

Under-The-BridgeHulu has released the official trailer for “Under the Bridge” which star Lily Gladstone, Riley Keough and Archie Panjabi.

The true crime drama series is based on Rebecca Godfrey’s 2005 book, “Under the Bridge”. It is adapted by Quinn Shephard.

Here, Reena Virk ( (Vritika Gupta), a fourteen-year-old girl, went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Seven teenage girls and a boy were accused of the savage murder.

Under the Bridge is set to premiere on Hulu April 17. Watch the trailer below.
