Bigfoot Chapter Gets Extra-Length Encore Reprint In The Department Of Truth: Wild Functions Special This December

James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds’ popular Bigfoot two-issue The Department of Truth story will return in an extra-length encore reprint titled, The Department Of Truth: Wild Fictions Special. On sale in December from Image Comics, the issue will include both The Department of Truth #10 and The Department of Truth #11 which, together, tells the standalone cryptid story fans love.

The Department Of Truth: Wild Fictions Special provides the perfect jumping on point for readers new to the series as well. “It’s impossible to pick a favorite story from the first few years of The Department of Truth, but the one that has brought the most people to my table at convention after convention is ‘A Hunter’s Story’, which ran over two issues in our second arc,” said Tynion IV.

Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples’ Saga Has Solo Seven Million Copies To Date

The bestselling, award winning Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples will kick off a highly anticipated new story arc in January 2023 from Image Comics.

Matt Lesniewski’s Faceless And The Family Launches Tuesday

The Eisner-nominated creator Matt Lesniewski launches his creator-owned graphic novel on Zoop!

Now live on Zoop is a new campaign to fund the latest outing from rising star and Eisner-nominated Matt Lesniewski, called Faceless And The Family. The story can best be described as a sci-fi / post apocalyptic journey where a strange and lovable group of misfits form a family. Think of it like an even weirder, yet heartfelt spin on The Wizard of Oz, but completely its own.

The book has been in production for a while and had numerous homes before landing at Zoop to be crowdfunded. Lesniewski is a one-man creative team, writing, drawing, and lettering this personal love letter to comics. The campaign runs for 30 days, and backers will receive a 120-page completed story in softcover format. Other rewards include signatures, remarques, sketches, commissions, and even original pages from the book.
