New Trailer For “Living With Chucky” Released

A new trailer for the Child’s Play franchise documentary has been released.

The film is an official selection on Popcorn Frights Film Festival 2022, Fantastic Fest 2022, and Screamfest Horror Film Festival 2022.

Living with Chucky takes an in depth look at the groundbreaking Child’s Play franchise from the perspective of a filmmaker who grew up within it. Featuring interviews with cast and crew such as Brad Dourif, Jennifer Tilly, Alex Vincent, creator Don Mancini, and much more, this personal film recounts the dedication, creativity and sacrifice that went into making the franchise and its long-lasting impact on the horror community.

Storming into pop culture in the late 1980s, the three-foot menace known as Chucky, proved that Child’s Play was anything but. The horror film went on to spawn six sequels, a television series, a reboot, comic books, a video game and merchandise.

Written and directed by Kyra Elise Gardner, daughter of legendary special effects artist Tony Gardner, Living With Chucky looks back at the groundbreaking horror franchise by those there from the beginning. The documentary details the history of the Child’s Play films by the cast and crew, in addition to Gardner’s own relationship with the series and the impact it had on her family. Gardner, who grew up alongside Chucky the killer doll, seeks out other families involved with the Child’s Play films as they recount their experiences working on the franchise and what it means to be a part of the “Chucky” family.

“Living With Chucky” is set for release on VOD on April 4.

P!NK Announces The “Trustfall” Tour Hitting Arenas This Fall

Today, critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter and global pop icon P!NK releases her highly anticipated ninth studio album, “Trustfall”, out now via RCA Records.

Featuring the hit singles “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” and “Trustfall,” as well as her latest release, “When I Get There,” “Trustfall” marks some of P!NK’s most vulnerable and exhilarating work yet. Michael B. Jordan’s Creed III Is First Sports Film In The “Filmed for IMAX” Program

In his directorial debut, Director Michael B. Jordan brings IMAX audiences up close and personal with Creed III, in theatres nationwide March 3, 2023.

As the first sports film in the Filmed for IMAX program, Creed III was shot with IMAX-certified digital cameras and features 26 minutes of IMAX exclusive Expanded Aspect Ratio (EAR). IMAX audiences will feel as if they’re inside the ring with Adonis Creed – taking in every bead of sweat and feeling the impact of each punch.

Creed III is the third installment in the successful franchise and is Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut.

The film is from the screenplay by Keenan Coogler & Zach Baylin. In addition to Michael B. Jordan, the film also stars Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Mila Davis-Kent, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad

Bryan Adams Returns To The Road With So Happy It Hurts 2023 Tour

Famed musician and singer-songwriter Bryan Adams announced his 2023 So Happy It Hurts Tour with iconic group Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Produced by Live Nation, the notable run will hit 26 cities across the U.S. this summer, with stops in New York City, Boston, Tampa, Denver, Phoenix, San Francisco and more.

The tour kicks off on Tuesday, June 6 in Baltimore at CFG Bank Arena and wraps on Thursday, August 3 in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena.

The upcoming tour is in support of Bryan Adams’ 15th studio album, “So Happy It Hurts,” which was released March 11, 2022 via BMG. “So Happy It Hurts” is also nominated for Best Rock Performance at the upcoming 2023 Grammy awards, taking place this Sunday, February 5. Fall Out Boy Announces So Much For (Tour) Dust

Grammy Award-nominated and multi-platinum selling rock band Fall Out Boy is set to hit the road this summer with their 2023 headline tour So Much For (Tour) Dust. The 25+ date North American trek will kick off with a show of epic proportions at Chicago’s famed Wrigley Field on June 21 before continuing through cities like St. Louis, Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Toronto, and concluding in Camden, NJ on August 6.

2023 Sundance Film Festival Awards Announced

The Sundance Film Festival, a program of the nonprofit Sundance Institute, returned back in person and across the country online for 2023. Whether you gathered in theaters or are joining us from home, the Festival offers the opportunity to be a part of the discovery of stories and artists that will inspire and entertain us for years to come. The 2023 Sundance Film Festival jurors and audiences have voted with the awards announced today during an event at The Ray Theatre in Park City and updated on Sundance Film Festival’s official social accounts. The award-winning films will screen in person and via the online Festival platform on Saturday, January 28, and Sunday, January 29. Tickets for all award-screening films are available beginning at 1:00 p.m. MT today.

The jury and audience-awarded prizes amplify the fearless and dynamic stories across sections, with Grand Jury Prizes awarded to A Thousand and One (U.S. Dramatic), Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project (U.S. Documentary), Scrapper (World Cinema Dramatic), and The Eternal Memory (World Cinema Documentary), and the NEXT Innovator Award presented by Adobe was awarded to KOKOMO CITY.

Voted on by the audience, Radical was granted the Festival Favorite Award. Audience Awards for films in competition were presented by Acura to The Persian Version (U.S. Dramatic) and Beyond Utopia (U.S. Documentary), and presented by United Airlines to Shayda (World Cinema Dramatic) and 20 Days in Mariupol (World Cinema Documentary). KOKOMO CITY won the audience award for NEXT.

“Shazam! Fury Of The Gods” New Trailer Released

Warner Bros has revealed a second official trailer for their superhero sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The upcoming DC film sequel stars Zachary Levi, Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Ziegler. Levi of course plays the titular character, while many original cast members, such as Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Djimon Hounsou, will reprise their roles.

Along with the trailer, director David F. Sanberg has also revealed the brand new poster.

The film continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.

The sequel to the 2019 DC superhero film introduces the nefarious Daughters of Atlas: Lucy Liu plays Kalypso, while Oscar winner Helen Mirren stars as her sister Hespera.

“Shazam! Fury of the Gods” is set for release on March 17, 2023.

Award-winning filmmaker Peter Nicks documentary is an intimate look at NBA superstar Stephen Curry’s improbable coming of age at tiny Davidson College, where, under the wing of coach Bob McKillop, the team made a thrilling run in the 2008 NCAA tournament. Decentralized Pictures and Decrypt Studios To Discuss How Web3 Is Opening Doors For Indie Filmmakers

Decentralized Pictures and Web3 production company Decrypt Studios will present FILM3 On the Mountain in Park City on Saturday January 21. The event will feature a panel discussion on the benefits and drawbacks of blockchain technology for filmmakers, as well as a chance to network with leaders in film and television.

A 501c3 non-profit founded by Roman Coppola, Leo Matchett, Michael Musante, and American Zoetrope, Decentralized Pictures (DCP) is dedicated to elevating the voices of independent filmmakers through a fair blockchain protocol. DCP has launched partnerships with filmmaker/producer Kevin Smith and not-for-profit The Gotham to create financing awards for undiscovered talent.

At the conclusion of FILM3 on the Mountain, Steven Soderbergh will be on hand to announce the winner of the first Andrews/Bernard Award, which his production company Extension 765 launched on the DCP platform in 2022 to discover and support emerging talent in the film industry. The award will support three filmmakers with finishing funds for fiction features or shorts worth $100,000 each.

The winning projects are determined via transparent voting powered by blockchain technology on DCP’s film funding platform. The next two recipients will be voted on and announced later this year.
