Official Trailer #2 for ANORA Released

anoraIn the film Anora is a young sex worker from Brooklyn, gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.

Anora is the latest feature from writer-director Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Red Rocket).

It stars Mikey Madison, Mark Eydelshteyn, Karren Karagulian, Yuriy Borisov, Vache Tovmasyan, Ivy Wolk, Luna Sofía Miranda, Ross Brodar, Lindsey Normington, Darya Ekamasova

The Palme d’Or-winning film is set for release in theaters on Oct. 18. After premiering at Cannes, the critically acclaimed movie now hold a Certified Fresh 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Official Trailer for “A Complete Unknown”

a-complete-unknownTimothée Chalamet stars as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, set for release in cinemas on January 17th.

Directed by James Mangold ((Walk the Line, Ford v Ferrari), the film is set in the influential New York music scene of the early 60s. It follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician BOB DYLAN’s (Timothée Chalamet) meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts – his songs and mystique becoming a worldwide sensation – culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

Also in the film are Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, Norbert Leo Butz, Dan Fogler, and Scoot McNairy.

“A Complete Unknown” is set for release releases Christmas day, December 25, 2024.

“Disclaimer”: New Apple TV Plus Thriller Gets An Official Trailer

disclaimerPremiering globally October 11 on Apple TV+, “Disclaimer” stars Academy Award winners Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline. It is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Renée Knight.

“As Catherine races to uncover the writer’s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys both her own life and her relationships with her husband Robert (Sacha Baron Cohen) and their son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee),” says the synopsis.

The seven-episode psychological thriller stars Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline, with Alfonso Cuarón serving as writer and director. Sacha Baron Cohen, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Hoyeon, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Indira Varma also stars.

It is set to debut on Oct.11, Friday, on October 11 streamer with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday.

Official Teaser Release for Netflix’s “Woman Of The Hour”

A synopsis for the movie says: The stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actor in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a years-long murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game.

Based on a true story, and inspired by the story of Rodney Alcala, a real-life serial killer in the 1970s. “Woman Of The Hour” is Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut.

ITV has released the trailer for its new series ‘Joan’, the upcoming six-part drama starring Sophie Turner (‘Game of Thrones’).

Directed by Richard Laxton, “Joan” is created and written by Anna Symon and also stars Frank Dillaine, Kirsty J Curtis, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr and Laura Aikman.

It will be aired by the CW starting Tuesday, October 2.

Here’s the synopsis for “Joan”:

A woman who goes between her thriving and daring career as a jewel thief, all whilst trying to get her daughter back from social services, we see a mother in despair swept up in the exhilarating world of crime.

Alex Wolff Star In Campus Thriller “The Line”

the-lineAlex Wolff and Halle Bailey star in fraternity drama “The Line”, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

In the film, Alex Wolff stars as Tom, a scholarship student desperate to break free from his working-class background who is charmed by the prestigious KNA fraternity’s promises of high social status and alumni connections that open doors. But upon beginning a romance with Annabelle (Halle Bailey), a classmate outside of his social circle, and the manipulative schemes of his fraternity president (Lewis Pullman) unfolding during the hazing of new members, Tom finds himself ensnared in a perilous game of ambition and loyalty.

Also starring in the film are Lewis Pullman, Austin Abrams, Angus Cloud, Bo Mitchell, Cheri Oteri, Scoot McNairy, Denise Richards, John Malkovich.

“The Line” is directed by Ethan Berger, a writer and producer on the 8-part mini-series “More Than an Athlete” for ESPN, which chronicled the rise of LeBron James, Mav Carter, Rich Paul, and Randy Mims. His debut narrative The Line, which he wrote and directed, premiered at Tribeca Festival in the summer of 2023.

The film opens in select theaters on October 18th, and expands on October 23rd.

Martial Arts Movie “Art of Eight Limbs” Trailer

art-of-eight-limbsRepublic Pictures via Paramount has released the trailer for its upcoming martial arts movie Art of Eight Limbs which is set to debut later this month. Mortal Kombat’s Ludi Lin stars in the film.

“A US agent goes undercover at a martial arts training camp suspected of being a cover for chemical weapons,” says the official synopsis.

The film stars Ludi Lin, Grace Vorananth, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Nicholas Hammond, Vithaya Pansringarm, Ron Smoorenburg, Tofan Pirani, Andrey Kasushkin, Maverick Kamuela Kang Jr., Jaroslav Shvets.

Art of Eight Limbs is set for release in select theaters August 16th, followed by release on Digital August 20th.

continueLionsgate has unveiled the trailer for an indie mental health drama “Continue.”

Written and directed by Nadine Crocker, the drama film stars Crocker and Shiloh Fernandez, and is set for release in theaters, on demand, and digital on September 6th. The film marks the feature directorial debut for Crocker.

In “Continue”, a girl suffering from depression (Crocker) is forced to get her life together when she is taken involuntarily to a mental institution after trying to follow in her fathers footsteps, but failing in her suicide attempt. She finds unlikely friends, unwavering love, and a life she never imagined possible for a girl like her. All to find out some decisions can’t be undone.

The film stars Nadine Crocker, Lio Tipton, Emily Deschanel, Dale Dickey, Anthony Caravella, Annapurna Sriram, Kat Foster, Jay Seals.

The first trailer for “A Complete Unknown” starring Dune actor Timothée Chalamet as iconic folk singer-songwriter Bob Dylan has been released.

The biographical drama is directed by James Mangold and is set for release this December.
