The full-length trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel from Walt Disney Animation has been released, and it looks like another blockbuster winner.
The sequel, a follow-up to the highly successful, billion dollar grossing animated film from 2013, brings back the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. The original of course was a global blockbuster, grossing $1.27 billion worldwide.
“Elsa, the past is not what it seems,” a troll says in the trailer. “You must find the truth. Go north, across the enchanted land and into the unknown.” The trailer also shows Elsa’s sister, who is similarly in an uncertain situation, and she is in a boat with no less than Olaf.
The original directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are also back and based on this new footage, they have not lost their magical touch one bit. Songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez also return. In the original film, the two took the song “Let It Go” from the film’s soundtrack all the way to academy awards, winning Best Original Song.
“Frozen 2” is set for release later this year on Nov. 22, which by the way is the exact day the original film was released six years ago.
Due to overwhelming demand, a third and final show has been added on Saturday, October 5 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring the Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill – performing their iconic album “Hotel California” in its entirety, for the first time in the band’s career. These three concerts are the only North American performances for the Eagles this year.
