RLJE Films Acquires Crime Thriller “Neighborhood Watch” Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid

neighborhood-watchRLJE Films has announced the acquisition of NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH (formerly NOWHERE MEN), directed by Duncan Skiles (THE CLOVEHITCH KILLER) and starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Jack Quaid (The Boys), and Malin Akerman (WATCHMEN). The rights will cover North America with plans to release the film in theaters and on demand on April 25th, 2025.

In NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, Simon (Quaid), a young man grappling with mental illness, becomes convinced that he has witnessed an abduction. When he reports it to the police and they refuse to believe him, he reluctantly seeks the help of his neighbor Ed (Morgan), a jaded, retired security guard with his own troubled past. As the unlikely duo delves deeper into the mystery, their pursuit of the truth forces them to confront not only the dark secrets surrounding the disappearance but also the unspoken wounds that haunt them both.

“I fell in love with NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH because of Ed and Simon’s unique relationship, which Jeff and Jack brought to life with care and commitment,” said director Duncan Skiles. “By the end of production, our entire crew had joined me in their love for this unlikely duo, creating a special energy that touched every scene. Frankie Muniz is “Renner” Latest Sci-Fi AI Thriller

rennerA computer genius invents an A.I life coach to help him find love, but realizes too late he accidentally programmed his manipulative mother into the code, in the new Frankie Muniz film “Renner”.

The trailer has been released for the upcoming a dark sci-fi thriller. It is directed by Robert Rippberger and written by Luke Medina and Martin Medina.

The official synopsis for Renner: “Renner, a reclusive computer genius driven by a need for control, designs an A.I. named Salenus to help him overcome his crippling social anxieties and find love. Encouraged by Salenus, Renner forms a connection with his alluring neighbor Jamie, but their relationship starts to unravel when she begins to interact with the A.I. As dark secrets and betrayals begin to surface, Salenus’s influence on Renner takes a malicious turn, leaving him entangled in the devastating consequences of his invention”

The film stars Frankie Muniz, Violett Beane, Taylor Gray, and Marcia Gay Harden.

Renner will be released on demand onMarch 28th.

Festival Hit “Hood Witch” Sets Release In Theaters and VOD

A cautionary tale about the perils of modern society that cleverly intertwines themes of social media pitfalls, religious extremism, unregulated black market activities, HOOD WITCH debuted to critical acclaim at last year’s SXSW Film Festival. Anthony Hopkins And Bill Skarsgård in “Locked”: Trailer

LockedParamount has released the official trailer for “Locked”, the upcoming thriller starring Bill Skarsgård and Anthony Hopkins,

Directed by David Yarovesky and produced by Sam Rami, the film is an English-language remake of the 2019 Argentinian action film 4×4.

The film’s synopsis reads: “A thief breaks into a luxury SUV, only to realize that he has stumbled into a complex and deadly trap set by a mysterious figure.”

Also in the film are Ashley Cartwright, Michael Eklund and Navid Charkhi. Locked is set for release in theaters on March 21, 2025.

Directed by Feras Alfuqaha and produced by Leal Naim, “Lifeline” is and written by Brian Price and Brady Morell.

The thriller mystery stars Josh Steward (The Collector, Criminal Minds, The Punisher, The Dark Knight Rises), Judah Lewis (Demolition, The Babysitter, The Christmas Chronicles) and Brecken Merrill (Yellowstone, This Is Us).

A late-night suicide hotline operator receives a disturbing call from someone claiming to be him, knowing personal details only he would know. Zero-DayRobert De Niro is heading to Netflix for its series thriller “Zero Day,” which is set to premiere Feb. 20, and Netflix has just released a teaser.

The six-episode Netflix conspiracy thriller Robert De Niro, along with Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Angela Bassett, Joan Allen, Matthew Modine, and Connie Britton in the upcoming miniseries “Zero Day” frm Netflix.

In “Zero Day”, a former U.S. President is called out of retirement to find the source of a deadly cyberattack, only to discover a vast web of lies and conspiracies.

It is created by Eric Newman (Narcos), Noah Oppenheim (Jackie), and Michael Schmidt, a Pulitzer Prize winner.

Netflix Unveils Full Trailer for Holiday Thriller “Carry-On” Starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman

carry-onNetflix has released the trailer for Carry-On, a gripping holiday thriller starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman, which promises a mix of suspense and high-octane action.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Black Adam), the film follows a young TSA agent (Egerton) who is blackmailed into allowing a dangerous package onto a Christmas Day flight.

The ensemble cast includes Sofia Carson, Dean Norris, Danielle Deadwyler, Theo Rossi, and Logan Marshall-Green. Written by TJ Fixman and Michael Green.

The film is set to premiere globally on December 13, 2024.

Egerton is also set to star alongside Charlize Theron in Netflix’s upcoming thriller Apex.

In the film, a grieving woman hoping to find solace deep in an isolated forest encounters a stranger who injects her with a paralytic agent. As the agent gradually takes over her body, she must run, hide, and fight for her life before her entire nervous system shuts down.

“Don’t Move” stars Kelsey Asbille, Finn Wittrock, Daniel Francis, Moray Treadwell, Denis Kostadinov, Kate Nichols, Skye Little Wing Dimov Saw and Dylan Beam.

Produced by Sam Raimi, the horror thriller is set to be available to stream on Netflix on October 25, 2024.

It is directed by Brian Netto and Adam Schindler, and is written by T.J. Cimfel and David White.
