Raekwon and Mobb Deep Announce 30th Anniversary Co-Headlining Tour

Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon and Mobb Deep’s Havoc will team up this fall for a co-headlining tour marking the 30th anniversaries of their landmark albums Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… and The Infamous. The 19-city run, produced by Live Nation and presented by LOUD Live, begins November 13 in Portland, Oregon, and wraps December 15 in Miami Beach, Florida, with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and other major markets.

For the first time, the two hip-hop legends will share the stage for one seamless set, performing tracks from both albums along with career-spanning hits. Each night will also feature special guests and collaborative performances.

The Favors Announce Debut Album The Dream and First Tour Dates

The Favors, the newly formed duo of FINNEAS and Ashe, have announced their debut album The Dream, set for release on September 19, 2025, via Darkroom Records. The announcement follows the release of their single “The Hudson,” a piano-led ballad, and marks the pair’s first official tour as a band.

Tour stops include performances at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles (Sept. 18), Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Sept. 26), Central Park Summerstage in New York City (Oct. 1), and two appearances at Austin City Limits Music Festival (Oct. 3 and 10). Longtime collaborators, FINNEAS and Ashe rose to prominence with 2019’s “Moral of the Story” and 2021’s “Till Forever Falls Apart.” In June 2025, they officially began recording as The Favors. Their debut album draws influence from 1970s Laurel Canyon folk-pop and artists like Carole King, Fleetwood Mac, and Simon & Garfunkel, blending retro harmonies with modern production.

The Dream was written and recorded between Los Angeles and Nashville, reflecting the artists’ respective home bases. The project emphasizes live vocal recording, analog warmth, and long-form listening—what FINNEAS refers to as “a true ‘long-play’ album.”

Miley Cyrus’ new visual album experience, Something Beautiful, will premiere on July 16, 2025, on Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S. The film will also be available internationally, debuting the same day in Canada and arriving in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions on July 30.

Directed by Cyrus along with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, the film serves as a full-length visual companion to her ninth studio album of the same name. It features thirteen original tracks and is described as a pop opera that blurs the line between fantasy and reality. Destin Conrad Announces ‘Love on Digital’ North American Tour

R&B artist Destin Conrad has announced his Love on Digital North American headline tour, beginning September 13 in Denver. The tour will include stops in cities such as Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles, with Mark Keane as support.

Grateful Dead Movie to Screen in IMAX for One-Night Early Access Event

The Grateful Dead Movie will return to theaters this summer as part of the 2025 edition of “Meet-Up At The Movies,” with early screenings in IMAX on August 13 and a general release on August 14.

Originally released in 1977 and co-directed by Jerry Garcia and Leon Gast, the film documents the band’s five-night run at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom in 1974. It includes live performances, behind-the-scenes footage, animation, and rare moments focused on the Grateful Dead’s devoted fan base.

This marks the first time the film will be presented in IMAX, with newly remastered sound and picture. An exclusive bonus performance of “China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider” will be shown in theaters following the film.

The Grateful Dead Movie is presented by Rhino Entertainment and Trafalgar Releasing.

The Burned Over to Release Debut Album The Last Great Awakening on June 27

The Burned Over, a new metal duo formed by vocalist Kim Dylla and guitarist-producer Mark Dannells, will release their debut album The Last Great Awakening on June 27.

The album marks the group’s first full-length project, blending heavy metal with occult and folk horror themes in what the band refers to as “Baphometal.” Dylla is known for her work with Cruachan and as a former member of GWAR, while Dannells is an Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated composer and guitarist, previously with Yacht Rock Revue and Skid Row.

The album features contributions from drummer Beau Brandon (Withered), producer Raheem Amlani (Arcadea), mixer Kevin “131” Gutierrez (Shinedown, Paul McCartney), and mastering engineer Chris Athens (Coheed and Cambria, PVRIS).

AFI Announces Fall 2025 North American Tour With TR/ST

AFI will return to the road this fall for a 24-date North American headline tour, joined by special guest TR/ST. The Live Nation–produced tour begins September 30 in Madison, Wisconsin, and will include stops in Chicago, Brooklyn, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Denver, before concluding November 5 in San Diego.

This marks AFI’s first major tour since 2021, following the release of their album Bodies. The band is expected to perform songs spanning their career. TR/ST, known for dark, synth-driven electronic music, will open each date.

“Every Time You Lose Your Mind”, a decade-in-the-making documentary about the influential Los Angeles band Failure, will stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ beginning June 27.

The first teaser trailer for Kiss of the Spider Woman, a musical drama directed by Bill Condon, has been released.

Set in 1983 Argentina, the film follows two prisoners — a political detainee (Diego Luna) and a gay window dresser (Tonatiuh) — who bond through retellings of a glamorous movie starring a fictional Old Hollywood star, played by Jennifer Lopez.

The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Roadside Attractions, Lionsgate, and LD Entertainment. Written and directed by Condon (Dreamgirls), the adaptation features original music by John Kander and Fred Ebb, with Lopez’s performance drawing early attention for its classic musical style and visual flair.

Kiss of the Spider Woman opens in theaters October 10, 2025.
