Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans In Christmas Action Movie “Red One”

red-oneThe Amazon MGM Studios action-comedy feature is directed by Jake Kasdan, who directed the “Jumanji” reboots.

In “Red One”, after a shocking abduction from the North Pole, the Commander of the E.L.F. Task Force must partner with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter to save Christmas.

Johnson, stars as Callum Drift opposite Evans, as Jack O’Malley, along with J.K. Simmons, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Liu, Nick Kroll, Wesley Kimmel, Mary Elizabeth Ellis

Chris Morgan wrote the script based on a story by Hiram Garcia. “Red One” is set to hit theaters on Nov. 15.

Post Malone Hits The Road For F-1 Trillion Tour

His first single off the upcoming album and mega-smash “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen is continuing to dominate the charts. Upon release, it crash landed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, tallying “the highest weekly sales and streams since 2020” and remained at #1 for five consecutive weeks, emerging as “the longest running number one song of 2024.”

This tour follows ‘If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying’ run last year, his highly successful trek across the US and Canada. Produced by Live Nation, the 2024 outing kicks off on September 8 at Salt Lake City’s Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, making stops at Fenway Park, Hersheypark Stadium, Credit One Stadium and more before wrapping up in Nashville at Nissan Stadium on October 19.

Stunning First Trailer For NOSFERATU Released

nosferatuThe first trailer for Robert Eggers’ gothic horror Nosferatu has finally been released.

NOSFERATU serves as a remake of the classic 1922 silent film of the same name, and the chilling new trailer showcases its stars Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe and Bill Skarsgård.

Directed and written by Robert Eggers, the film is “a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.”

Nosferatu is set for release on December 25, 2024.

Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Simon McBurney, Ralph Ineson, Paul Maynard, Stacy Thunes are also in the film.

Lionsgate’s Sci-Fi Thriller “The Abandon” Has A New Trailer, Poster

theabandon“The Abandon” is directed by Jason Satterlund and written by Dwain Worrell, and stars Jonathan Rosenthal, Tamara Perry, Regis Terencio, Dan Kyle, and Priscilla Avila.

In the upcoming sci-fi thriller, U.S. soldier Miles Willis is shot and wounded during an intense firefight in Iraq, and he awakens to find himself trapped in a strange, colorless cube with nothing inside but his own combat gear.

As time passes, the cube begins to change: fluctuating extreme temperatures, random shifts of gravity, and strange writing appearing on the walls. His only communication is with a mystery woman who calls him on his satellite phone, claiming to be trapped in a similar space. As the clock ticks, the two of them must figure out who has them, why they were taken, and how to escape.

The Abandon is set to arrive in select cinemas on July 19th, and then followed by a digital release on July 30th.

New Teaser Trailer For “The Penguin” Released

the-penguinThe second official teaser trailer for Max’s upcoming “The Penguin” has been released, giving a better look at the upcoming series. A spinoff from The Batman, “The Penguin” follows the transformation of Oswald Cobblepot from a disfigured nobody to a noted Gotham gangster.

It stars Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, the titular DC Gotham City villain. “I’m gonna tear down the empire from the inside out,” Oz says in the clip.

Also in “The Penguin” are Alex Anagnostidis, Clancy Brown, Carmen Ejogo, Cristin Milioti, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly, Michael Zegen and Deirdre O’Connell.

The eight-episode limited series is set to premiere in September 2024. Check out the stunning new official teaser trailer for “The Penguin” below.

Green’s iconic Hatchet series returns in a blood-soaked, fully Unrated collection, uniting all four films for the first time packaged as a 5-disc Blu-ray Limited Edition Steelbook featuring nearly two hours of new bonus features.

The set will also include two brand new bonus pieces, Hatchet: Swamp Tales and Production Journals. This bonus material will be available exclusively with The Hatchet Complete Collection Limited Edition Steelbook.

Briarcliff Entertainment Has Acquired Domestic Distribution Rights To Critically Acclaimed Dark Comedy “My Dead Friend Zoe”

MY-DEAD-FRIEND-ZOEBriarcliff Entertainment has acquired domestic distribution rights to Legion M’s critically acclaimed dark comedy MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE which won SXSW Film Festival’s Audience Award this year. The film stars Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead, Star Trek: Discovery), Natalie Morales (Parks and Recreation, No Hard Feelings), Academy Award nominee Ed Harris (Westworld, Top Gun: Maverick, Apollo 13) and Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby, Shawshank Redemption, Invictus).

The stellar supporting cast includes Gloria Reuben (ER, Lincoln) and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts, Free Guy). The film is the directorial debut of Kyle Hausmann-Stokes, a former U.S. Army infantry paratrooper and Iraq War Bronze Star veteran.

Currently rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE is Hausmann-Stokes’ creative take on the post-war experience and a tribute to veterans of all generations. Co-written with A.J. Official Trailer For “A Real Pain” Released, Starring Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg

A-Real-PainSearchlight Pictures has released the first official trailer for “A Real Pain”, which stars Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg.

The comedy drama is written and directed by Eisenberg and premiered at Sundance earlier this year, where Eisenberg won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award.

The film follows mismatched cousins David and Benji (Eisenberg and Culkin) who reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the pair’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

Also in the film are Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy, Daniel Oreskes and Ellora Torchia.

“A Real Pain” is set to premiere on October 18 in theaters.
