Kurt Busiek Teams With Fabian Nicieza and Stephen Mooney For New High-Stakes Sci-Fi Series Free Agents this July

FREE-AGENTSBestselling, Eisner Award winning writer Kurt Busiek (Astro City) teams up with self-proclaimed legendary and better-selling writer Fabian Nicieza (Deadpool) and fan-favorite artist Stephen Mooney (Half Past Danger) with colorist Triona Tree Farrell (Harley Quinn, Detective Comics), and letterer Tyler Smith of Comicraft for an all-new ongoing series in, Free Agents. This action-packed, giant-sized, bargain-priced debut will hit shelves from Image Comics in July.

Each issue will also feature a variant-cover character portrait by Kevin Maguire (Justice League), all well as variants by a host of comicdom’s greatest.

“It’s a superhero series with a twist,” said the devastatingly charming, modest and did-we-mention multiple Eisner and Harvey Award winning Busiek. “The Agents were done. “Trap” Trailer: M. Night Shyamalan’s Last Featuring Josh Hartnett

trapWarner Bros. released a trailer for the M. Night Shyamalan’s newest thriller, “Trap.”

The trailer follows a father and his daughter a pop concert. “This is literally the best day of my life,” she exclaims. Later they “realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event,” per the logline.

Unlike the usual Shyamalan film, the trailer seem to have given away the story’s twist, though its very possible that the director have more up his sleeves.

The thriller features Josh Hartnett as a serial killer at a pop star’s concert. Also in the film are Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill.

Trap is set to hits theaters Aug. 9.

Trailer For Crime Mystery “End Of The Rope” With Joseph Gray Released

end-of-the-ropeThe film is based on the infamous true story of the Charles Bannon case in the 1930s. It follows Sheriff CA Jacobson and States Attorney Sam Taylor as they try to find out what happened to the Haven Family.

The synopsis says, “when a family mysteriously disappears, the local sheriff struggles to keep order in a town set on vengeance.”

Along with Joseph Gray, the film also stars Chris Bylsma, Joseph Bezenek, Nick Saxton, Tiffany Cornwell, Megan Hensely, Christine Weber, and Charles O’Haver.

“End of the Rope” is directed by Charlie Griak, from a screenplay written by Daniel Bielinski and Griak.

The End of the Rope is currently in select theaters.

This year’s TV lineup features 11 series premieres and two first looks at returning classics. World premieres include Hulu’s Mastermind: To Think Like A Killer, executive produced by Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning, an in-depth exploration of Dr. Anne Burgess’ career and her successful journey to closing some of America’s most infamous criminal cases; Hollywood Black, executive produced by Justin Simien, an examination of the Black experience in Hollywood featuring conversations with Issa Rae, Lena Waithe, Ryan Coogler, and Ava DuVernay; and Apple TV+’s Presumed Innocent, a legal thriller starring and executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal, hailing from David E. “Faceless After Dark” Official Trailer And Poster Art Released

FACELESS-AFTER-DARKThe latest from Dark Sky Films is directed by Raymond Wood. It is written and starring Jenna Kanell from the Terrifier franchise and Todd Jacobs.

“Faceless After Dark” is set for release nationwide in select theaters and on digital platforms on May 17th.

Eerie Trailer for Horror Film “Dancing Village: The Curse Begins” Released

It is Directed by Indonesian filmmaker Kimo Stamboel (Macabre, Headshot, The Queen of Black Magic). The screenplay for Dancing Village is by Lele Laila and is produced by Manoj Punjabi.

“The village still holds many mysteries”, says the film’s synopsis. “Piece by piece of mystery is revealed, including the terror of the most feared entity, namely, Badarawuhi.”

The movie stars Maudy Effrosina, Aulia Sarah, Jourdy Pranata, Ardit Erwandha, Moh Iqbal Sulaiman, Claresta Taufan Kusumarina, Aming Sugandhi, Dinda Kanyadewi, Pipien Putri, Zainal Abidin Zetta

“Dead Boy Detectives” stars Lukas Gage, Briana Cuoco, Caitlin Reilly, Yuyu Kitamura, Max Jenkins. It is set in the same universe another Neil Gaiman Netflix series “The Sandman” that debuted in August 2022.
