The Deadpool creative team of Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan, and Scott Koblish reunite for an all-new one-shot story starring the beloved Scotch McTiernan in Halloween Party. This hilarious new one-shot will land on shelves from Image Comics this October.

“I stopped trick-or-treating after I witnessed Michael Myers as he terrified horny teenagers in an Illinois suburb at the end of the seventies. My pals Gerry, Scott, and I figured after our 4/20 book it was on us to be like our hero John Carpenter and ruin trick-or-treating and Halloween once again. Suck it, my favorite holiday,” said Posehn.

Comedy Central Announces “South Park: The 25th Anniversary Experience”

Comedy Central today announced that renowned franchise South Park will celebrate its 25th Anniversary this summer with “South Park: The 25th Anniversary Experience” an immersive, traveling exhibit showcasing props, memorabilia, art work, collectables and never-before-seen scripts, storyboards concept art & more.

Inspired by the real South Park Studios storage unit where many of the items displayed have been held for the past 25 years, the exhibit is housed within a custom fabricated shipping container: giving fans the authentic experience of ‘stepping into the South Park vault for the very first time.’ The shipping container — which features a custom, Cartman inspired paint job — will also serve as an interactive photo opp: giving fans the opportunity to pose alongside their favorite characters against 3 different iconic South Park landscapes.

Additionally, fans will be able to purchase South Park merchandise (including limited edition 25th anniversary items specific to each location) as part of the “25th Anniversary Experience” ‘tag sale.’

“My Old School” Starring Alan Cumming Release Set

Magnolia Pictures is set to release “My Old School” in theaters on July 22, 2022 in New York (Film Forum), July 29, 2022 in Los Angeles (Laemmle Monica Film Center) and Other Select Theaters.

Directed by Jono McLeod, the film stars Scottish actor Alan Cumming (mma, GoldenEye, X2), Clare Grogan, and Lulu. Filmmaker Jono McLeod returning to his old school for a nostalgic look at the strange but true story of his former classmate, Brandon Lee.

The film tells the story of 16-year-old Brandon Lee who was enrolled at Bearsden Academy, a secondary school in a well-to-do suburb of Glasgow, Scotland. What followed over the next two years would become the stuff of legend.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
Brandon had been privately tutored in Canada while he accompanied his mother, an opera diva, on tour before her tragic death. The preternaturally bright student surprised teachers by blazing toward his goal of entering medical school, displaying a wealth of knowledge beyond his years. Brandon found friends despite his initial awkwardness, taking bullied students under his wing, introducing classmates to seminal retro bands, and even starring in the school’s production of South Pacific. Today, Prime Video revealed the title of Gen V, the college-based spinoff of the hit series The Boys.

Set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games—with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as showrunners and executive producers. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Ann Nocenti And John Romita Jr. Return For Daredevil’s 650th Issue

Yesterday, fans got their first look at Daredevil #2, the milestone 650th issue arriving next month where legendary creators from throughout Daredevil history will join writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Marco Checchetto for a giant-sized celebration.

Amongst an all-star lineup of talent will be two visionaries who had a profound impact on Daredevil’s legacy: writer Ann Nocenti and artist John Romita Jr.

The pair of comic powerhouses will make their grand return to Hell’s Kitchen, paying homage and revisiting their hard-hitting and beloved late 80s run on the title. Known for tackling real-world issues, Nocenti will spotlight Daredevil’s complex relationship with the inhabitants of Hell’s Kitchen and the dire changes on the horizon in a story drawn by Chip Zdarsky himself. John Romita Jr. will draw a riveting sequence for the book’s main story that stars one of Nocenti and Romita Jr.’s most iconic creations, Typhoid Mary.

“It’s not often that a comic gets to issue two these days , so … oh wait, it’s issue 650?! Well in that case I’m over the moon that we get to celebrate with so many legendary Daredevil creators!” Zdarsky said. “Daredevil is a title that has had so many amazing runs that it wouldn’t feel right to have an anniversary issue without inviting the people who made the book so special for so many years.”

“Cosplay Universe,” a documentary that explores the evolution and rise of the global phenomenon known as Cosplay, the art of dressing up as a character you love, premiered this past weekend on July 3rd at Anime Expo, and will be followed by a global theatrical release this summer via distributor Abramorama. Knights and Zombies Clash In “Dead Kingdom”

Red 5 Comics prepares to re-enter the world of the undead in Etienne Derepentigny’s debut series Dead Kingdom out just in time for Halloween.

“We obviously love zombie stories,” Red 5 Comics co-publisher Joshua Starnes said. From ZMD to Dead or Alive to Raise Up the Dead, zombies have been part of the Red 5 DNA since the beginning. Every time I hear a pitch for a new way to tell a great zombie story, I get excited.”

Something is attacking the Field Valley, something that destroys whole villages seemingly overnight. The kingdom thinks it’s plague but the battleworn Kain knows better. When he and a small group of knights go to investigate all of his worst dears are proven true as the dead attack the village. And if they can’t be stopped, they’ll eventually overrun the entire kingdom.

“Dead Kingdom is the result of my love for the zombie genre that has entertained me since my childhood,” said creator Etienne Derepentigny. “A story many years in the marking, now is the time for it to step out of the shadow so it can be unleashed upon the living.”

The dead arrive this September in Dead Kingdom from Red 5 Comics.

Official Trailer Release For “The Nan Movie”

The Nan Movie is based on Catherine Tate’s character “Nan,” a foul-mouthed grandmother from her award winning BBC series “The Caatherine Tate Show”

The film received nominations at 2022 National Film Awards for Best Comedy, Best Supporting Actor (Matthew Horne),
and Best Screenplay (Catharine Tate, Brett Goldstein).

Writer and actor Catherine Tate has worked extensively on stage and screen. Her multi-award-winning BBC series The Catherine Tate Show ran for three seasons and spawned several spin-offs based on her Nan character.

She is also well known for playing Donna Noble opposite David Tennant in Doctor Who and appealing in the U.S version of The Office as Nellie Bertram. She can currently be seen in her new series, Hard Cell on Netflix and will return to screens as Donna Noble next year in Doctor Who to coincide with the show’s 60th anniversary.

“The Nan Movie” is set for release in theaters and on-demand July 22, 2022.

“Fall” Official Trailer Debuts

Lionsgate Films has released the official trailer for “Fall”, the 2022 thriller from British writer director Scott Mann.

The film tells the story of best friends Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner), when life is all about conquering fears and pushing limits.

But after they climb 2,000 feet to the top of a remote, abandoned radio tower, they find themselves stranded with no way down.

Now Becky and Hunter’s expert climbing skills will be put to the ultimate test as they desperately fight to survive the elements, a lack of supplies, and vertigo-inducing heights in this adrenaline-fueled thriller costarring Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The film stars Grace Caroline Currey, Virginia Gardner, Mason Gooding, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Jonathan Frank co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Mann.

Werewolf by Night attacks in October’s Moon Knight Annual #1 by Jed MacKay and Federico Sabbatini
