First Official Image of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex is here!

By Armando

Entertainment Weekly dropped the first image of Jesse Eisenberg as villain Lex Luthor in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Eisenberg plays Lex Luthor in the eagerly anticipated film.

“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” says Snyder, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”

And while you’re staring at Luthor’s penetrating stare, take a closer look at Lex’s eyes and you might see an image of Superman on there!

Batman V Superman arrives on March 25, 2016. Take in the full look below.

Fantastic Four Movie – New Poster Unveiled

By Armando

Following the trailer that hit back in January, 20th Century Fox has released a new poster for director Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four via the film’s Twitter account.

Here, we see Thing, Mr Fantastic, Human Torch, and Invisible Woman, looking at at a mysterious pillar of light (which by the way also appeared in the final shots of the trailer, see trailer below), with the characters showing off their powers.

The poster further reinforce the movie’s marketing that focus on its sci-fi elements than anything else, as well as the fact that it’s from the same studio behind X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Josh Trank is directing Fantastic Four, which stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Human Torch, Jamie Bell as The Thing, and Toby Kebbell as DOCTOR Doom.

Fantastic Four is set to hit the big screen on August 7, 2015.

Superman Gets New Look Post-Convergence

By Armando

Superman is looking very casual lately. Not only did he ditch the cape and tights, Supes is wearing jeans and T-shirt in the latest costume design. He also got his hair trimmed up and sports some stubble.

Some might remember not too long ago that Superman underwent a costume redesign in the Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr.’s Superman, so it is possible that both costumes will co-exist in some form. Its also entirely possible that Superman eventually goes back to the previous costume.

Also this week, Hitfix reveals a new Wonder Woman costume, which is just as dramatic a redesign, complete with a pair of retractable spikes in her gauntlets.

These costumes will debut in June as part of DC’s major post-Convergence relaunch.

Momoa as Aquaman: First Look

By Armando

Warner Bros.

For some time now, we’ve known that the DC Trinity, Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman would appear together for the first time in next year’s cinematic event Batman V Superman. This week, Snyder all but confirmed that another top-tier DC character, Aquaman, will be joining them in the movie in 2015 by way of an official picture of the thespian in character. This is not a complete surprise as Momoa himself has showered the director with praises, while fan buzz and gossip has been circulating almost all throughout since the movie’s inception.

No one knows yet how large the role will play in the movie, but its becoming increasingly clear at this point that Aquaman will be sharing the screen with DC Trinity in some capacity.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be in theaters March 25, 2016. Aquaman will premiere on July 27, 2018.

Here’s a look at Momoa’s baddass Aquaman

The Greatest Living American Actor at 85

Gene Hackman Is Retired But Still in Charge

By Steven Hyden

The Gene Hackman performance that sticks with me the most didn’t occur in one of his 79 films, but rather in a profile written by Roger Ebert for the Chicago Sun-Times in 1971. Hackman stopped in town on the way to a family reunion in Danville, Illinois, where the Hackman clan settled after wandering across four different states during Gene’s early childhood. Hackman later escaped the Midwest by talking his way into the Marines at 16, and after he was discharged four and a half years later, he wandered some more, living briefly in New York, Florida, back in Danville, then back to New York, and then back to the state where he was born, California, where he was enrolled at and swiftly dismissed from the Pasadena Playhouse. Then Hackman wandered more still, back again to New York and a string of odd jobs that propped up his acting ambitions.

Samsung is launching an insanely fast new version of the Galaxy Note 4 this week

By Zach Epstein

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 is the best phablet in the world right now. Period. It might not be quite as sleek as Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus and it certainly isn’t selling as fast, but as a phablet, it’s the best there is. The Note 4 isn’t just bigger for the sake of being bigger, which is arguably the case with Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus. Instead, the Galaxy Note 4 touts fantastic and unique software features that make great use of its giant display.

As terrific as Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 already is, however, people who own the phone are going to be a bit envious later this week when Samsung launches a new version of the Note 4 that’s even better than the original.

‘Gotham’ Ratings Surge For Fox On Multi-Platform Viewing

by Dominic Patten

The realities of the 21st century television landscape have served a story first set in the late 1930 very very well. A month after its premiere, Fox’s freshman Gotham has hit a total multi-platform audience of 22.2 million, according to the network. Not only is that a pretty impressive number for the WBTV produced world of Batman backstory but it is actually a 168% life over the Live + Same Day audience of 8.3 million that the series got for its 8 PM September 22 debut.

Those Live + SD numbers were Fox’s best fall drama debut in since 2000 and Gotham hit an 18-49 record for Live + 7 lift when those results came in. However, perhaps more telling of how audiences are really watching content nowadays is the fact that 5 million of that 22.2 million audience came from non-linear viewing.
