A new Karate Kid: Legends trailer for has been unveiled at CinemaCon.

“Ralph, I’ve been doing your chores all week,” Ben Wang to Ralph Macchio at the CinemaCon stage. Macchio and Wang stars in the upcoming “Karate Kid: Legends.”

In the film, after a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong is uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City with his mother. Li struggles to let go of his past as he tries to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn’t want to fight, trouble seems to find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition – but his skills alone aren’t enough. Li’s kung fu teacher Mr. Han enlists original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso for help, and Li learns a new way to fight, merging their two styles into one for the ultimate martial arts showdown.

The official trailer was released in December after a first look at New York Comic Con.

The film stars Ben Wang, Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, Ming-Na Wen, Aramis Knight, Wyatt Oleff. It is scheduled to be released on May 30, 2025 by Sony Pictures Releasing.

“Call of the Void” Trailer And Release Date

Gravitas Ventures will release CALL OF THE VOID on digital platforms on April 15, 2025. The film premiered at the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival.

CALL OF THE VOID is a folk horror tale featuring songs from the Appalachian folk songbook performed live by the cast. Horror fans will be treated to a thrill both new and unexpected while drawing from the works of cosmic horror author, H.P. Lovecraft.

The film stars Caitlin Carver (Chicago Fire, I Tonya, Netflix’s Dear White People), Mina Sundwall (Netflix’s Lost In Space, Jesus Revolution), Christian Antidormi (Starz’s Spartacus, Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer), and Ethan Herisse (Nickel Boys, When They See Us).

It was written and directed by James B. Cox (Hacked, Grey Matter, based on a short story by Stephen King).

Here’s the film’s synopsis:
After the tragic death of her brother, Moray retreats to a remote mountain cabin to try and escape her work, her family, and her old life. However, her quiet retreat is quickly diverted by a college band moving into the unit next door and a suspicious professor studying a local phenomenon involving a mysterious hum. She discovers that the Hum is a gateway to something otherworldly, unnameable, and once heard–there is no return. The Hum is a sonic experience that asks the question: How can you escape your own senses?

Theatrical Premiere Release Date for Sean McNamara’s Holocaust Drama Bau, Artist at War

Bau, Artist at War, the powerful historical drama directed by Sean McNamara (Reagan, Soul Surfer), will have its theatrical release by ShowBiz Direct in the U.S. and Canada on September 26, 2025. The film, which stars Hirsch as real-life Holocaust survivor and artist Joseph Bau, is distributed by ShowBiz Direct and Republic Pictures.

The story of creativity, survival, and love based on Joseph Bau’s memoir, Bau, Artist at War tells the inspirational true story of how Bau used his creativity and skills as a forger to help fellow prisoners survive the horrors of Nazi concentration camps. Despite facing unimaginable adversity, he finds hope and love with fellow prisoner Rebecca (Inbar Lavi).

“Relative Control” Starring Teri Polo Sets Digital Release

Gravitas Ventures is set to release “Relative Control” on digital platforms on April 11, 2025.

The film won the Blue Hen Award for Best Regional Narrative at the 2024 Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival and also screened at the 2025 Sedona International Film Festival.

The film stars Teri Polo (Meet the Parents trilogy, the Fosters, Good Trouble, The Big Leap) who shines as a middle-aged, type-A attorney whose perfectly ordered life spirals hilariously out of control. The film also stars Patrick F. McDade (Mare of Easttown, Concrete Cowboy, Paterno), and Brian Anthony Wilson (Limitless, Law Abiding Citizen, The Wire).

In the upcoming comedy drama, a middle-aged, type-A attorney’s life spirals as she juggles her handful of an ex-cop father, forgetful mother, unemployed son, a reignited romance, and a hostile takeover in the biggest corporate control battle of her career.

Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming comedy “The Wedding Banquet”, a modern day remake of the 1993 Ang Lee movie of the same name.

Starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Chan and Han Gi-Chan, the film premiered earlier this year at Sundance.

Frustrated with his commitment-phobic boyfriend Chris and running out of time, Min makes a proposal: a green-card marriage with their friend Angela in exchange for her partner Lee’s expensive IVF. Elopement plans are upended, however, when Min’s grandmother surprises them with an extravagant Korean wedding banquet.

“The Life of Chuck” Trailer: Tom Hiddleston In The Stephen King Adaptation

Neon has released the first trailer for “The Life of Chuck”, starring Tom Hiddleston. The upcoming film is adapted from Stephen King’s 2020 novel.

Written and directed by Mike Flannagan, the film stars Tom Hiddleston as Charles “Chuck” Krantz, with a younger Chuck, played by Jacob Tremblay and Benjamin Pajak.

The synopsis says: A story told in reverse, starting with the end of Chuck Krantz’s life, and moving back in time to show how he lived that life.

Also in the film are Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Mia Sara, Carl Lumbly, and Mark Hamill.

“The Life of Chuck” is set for release in theaters from Neon on June 6 followed by an expansion throughout the month.

RLJE Films Acquires Crime Thriller “Neighborhood Watch” Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid

RLJE Films has announced the acquisition of NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH (formerly NOWHERE MEN), directed by Duncan Skiles (THE CLOVEHITCH KILLER) and starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Jack Quaid (The Boys), and Malin Akerman (WATCHMEN). The rights will cover North America with plans to release the film in theaters and on demand on April 25th, 2025.

In NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, Simon (Quaid), a young man grappling with mental illness, becomes convinced that he has witnessed an abduction. When he reports it to the police and they refuse to believe him, he reluctantly seeks the help of his neighbor Ed (Morgan), a jaded, retired security guard with his own troubled past. As the unlikely duo delves deeper into the mystery, their pursuit of the truth forces them to confront not only the dark secrets surrounding the disappearance but also the unspoken wounds that haunt them both.

Official Trailer 2 for “The Woman In The Yard”

Universal has release a second trailer for its upcojming horror movie “The Woman in the Yard”, set for release later in March.

From Blumhouse, the most successful global brand in horror, the new original chiller stars BAFTA and SAG nominee Danielle Deadwyler (Till, The Harder They Fall, The Piano Lesson) as Ramona, a woman crippled by grief after she survives a car accident that takes her husband (Russell Hornsby; BMF, Fences).

Seriously injured, Ramona now must care for their 14-year-old son (Peyton Jackson; Respect, American Refugee) and 6-year-old-daughter (Estella Kahiha; Will Trent, BMF), alone in her rural farmhouse. Then one day the woman takes form in their yard.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the film also stars Okwui Okpokwasili, Russell Hornsby, Peyton Jackson and Estella Kahiha.

“The Woman In The Yard” is set for release by Universal Pictures on March 28, 2025.

A computer genius invents an A.I life coach to help him find love, but realizes too late he accidentally programmed his manipulative mother into the code, in the new Frankie Muniz film “Renner”.

The trailer has been released for the upcoming a dark sci-fi thriller. It is directed by Robert Rippberger and written by Luke Medina and Martin Medina.

The official synopsis for Renner: “Renner, a reclusive computer genius driven by a need for control, designs an A.I. named Salenus to help him overcome his crippling social anxieties and find love. Encouraged by Salenus, Renner forms a connection with his alluring neighbor Jamie, but their relationship starts to unravel when she begins to interact with the A.I. A24 has dropped a brand new teaser trailer for the upcoming horror film “Bring Her Back”.

The new film is the follow up feature from Danny and Michael Philippou, the directors of Talk To Me, the low budget horror breakout hit 2023.

In the film, a brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.
