Warner Bros Civil War? Its Rotten Tomatoes Suspends Comments On Its ‘Dark Knight Rises’ After Movie Reviewers Threatened
By NIKKI FINKE
Warner Bros owns Rotten Tomatoes (through the social movie site Flixster.com). Warner Bros also owns The Dark Knight Rises (with co-financier Legendary Pictures). Now the studio finds itself with the weird and rare dilemma of protecting movie reviewers who hated the movie from furious Rotten Tomatoes readers. AP reports tonight that RottenTomatoes.com for the first time ever suspended user comments today on movie reviews of the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy hitting theaters Friday. Why? Because the comments savaged and threatened those critics who wrote negative reviews, including Marshall Fine of Hollywood & Fine, Christy Lemire of The Associated Press, and Nick Pinkerton of the Village Voice. However the movie overall has an 84% positive rating on RottenTomatoes.com.

Comic Con : Man of Steel Teaser Trailer and New Poster!
By Olivia Marne
It’s official.
“Man of Steel” looks awesome – in fact, so awesome it’ll bring tears to your eyes… and it did.
Kleenex would’ve made a mint if they had been selling boxes of tissues at the “Man of Steel” panel today at Comic-Con.
The words spoken by director and star duo Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill, coupled with footage from the film that suggests the ‘Superman’ reboot will be 2013′s ‘Dark Knight’ of comic book movies, saw the eyes of many Superman fans swell up today.
As fun as “Superman Returns” (2006) was, “Man of Steel” looks to be the Superman epic that many have been waiting for. Profound, epic, topical, deep, moving, rousing and action-packed, it’s clearly a product of its producer, “Dark Knight” main-man Christopher Nolan, more so than its only-sometimes-successful director Zack Snyder (“300″, “Sucker Punch”, “Watchmen”). Proof lies within the teaser footage we were shown, which clearly shows we’re in for a much deeper, more emotional ‘Superman’ blockbuster than we’ve ever seen before – this won’t be just the story of a man who has the ability to magically punch threw walls, it’ll be the affecting story of an illegal alien trying to find his place in the world.. while staying one step ahead of an out-and-out psychopath.

‘Man of Steel’ Likely to Be DC’s Only Film For Three Years; WB Hopes to Announce Slate Soon, ‘Justice League’ To Appear In Video Game
The unparalleled success of this summer’s Marvel movie The Avengers, coupled with the interest in Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, has shined a bright spotlight on DC Entertainment, a division of Warner Bros. If Marvel can make billions with second tier superheros like Iron Man and Thor, why hasn’t DC done the same thing?

Man Of Steel To Feature Wonder Woman Cameo?
by Matt Joseph
Looks like things are in full swing over at Warner Brothers.
As the studio gets ready to release The Dark Knight Rises, their attention is now turning towards Man of Steel as well as their Justice League film.
Hoping to copy Marvel’s model, the studio is looking at how to establish their universe and if what we’re hearing is true, they may kick things off with a Wonder Woman cameo in Man Of Steel.

‘Dark Knight Rises’ Producer: Nolan Will Never Direct Batman Again
It’s pretty bold to say that something will never happen whether you’re talking about something as simple as eating meat or making a movie. But in the case of The Dark Knight Rises producer Emma Thomas, who is also the wife of Christopher Nolan, we’re inclined to believe her statement that the filmmaker will never be in the director’s chair of another Batman film following the conclusion of his trilogy. In an interview with SFX Magzine (via Movies.com), Thomas was asked of the possibility of Nolan returning to the universe of the Caped Crusader and she definitively said, “No, never. No, that’s truly a never.”

Avengers assemble a private screening aboard the ISS
Putting the Hulk in a pressurized container in space isn’t a bad idea at all
Michael Gray
When The Avengers filmed scenes at NASA’s Space Power Facility in Ohio, we knew we were seeing a marriage made in heaven. A favorite comic book franchise teaming up with our beloved NASA? It seemed like the best of both worlds. Now Marvel is making good on that collaboration by providing a private screening of The Avengers to the International Space Station hovering over two hundreds of miles above Earth.
Marvel will provide The Avengers to Mission Control in Houston, which NASA will then uplink to the International Space Station. “These are the types of things that help to keep the crew connected to home, which is a huge morale boost while being away for long periods of time,“ said one of NASA’s psychological support coordinators. While thoughts of all that fictional destruction might not lift spirits, Tony’s trademark jokes will certainly do so.
The current crew of the ISS is made up of six people; we can’t help but notice that’s the same number of principal heroes in the Avengers. (That’d be Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow, for those following along.) We can’t wait to hear how the crew would recast themselves as the Avengers in their own ISS version. Here’s hoping nothing delays the screening!
