New poster for The Lego Batman Movie is here

WB has released a new poster for The LEGO Batman Movie, and what would be more fitting than releasing it today, in celebration of Batman Day.

Arnett voices Batman in The Lego Batman Movie. Directed by Chris McKay, and also featured Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Michael Cera as Robin, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, and Mariah Carey as the voice of Gotham’s mayor. Producing the film are The LEGO Movie directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, along with Dan Lin.

The LEGO Batman Movie will open in theaters on February 10, 2017.

Harley Quinn Spin-Off Set at Warner Bros.

Aussie actress Margot Robbie is signing a first-look deal with Warner Bros. as reported today by THR

The actress signs with the studio to develop and produce films, including the Harley Quinn movie which she will executive produce under her own LuckyChap Entertainment Banner, with partners Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr.

No other new details was reported, although one might think the decision on both parties came after Suicide Squad legged its way to a surprising $700 million worldwide gross, a surprising performance after the critical drubbing the movie received.

Many fans believe that the popularity of the character was behind this boxoffice performance, and the studio seems to be taking notice.

Suicide Squad is currently in cinemas everywhere.

First Look at ‘Gotham’ Season 3: Mad Season

Ahead of Gotham’s return on September 19, Fox has now unveiled a poster for the upcoming third season which follows a series for trailers released over the last few weeks. The poster appeared yesterday on Hollywood Reporter (below) which also reveals its title “Mad City”.

Season 3 of the Bat-prequel is set to introduce us to a few new characters such as Benedict Samuel’s Mad Hatter, the Court of Owls, the Tweedle brothers, among others. Jada Pinkett’s Fish Mooney is also set to return, as well as fan favorite Jerome. All in all it looks like Gothan won’t have shortage of excitement following its cliffhanger Season 2 finale.

Gothan Season 3 will return on Fox, Monday Sept. 19, 8pm.

Deathstroke, Main Villain in Affleck’s “The Batman”?

Deathstroke, will face off against Bruce Wayne in “The Batman”, at least based on a cryptic tweet this morning from Ben Affleck himself, who plays the Dark Knight in the movie. And it looks super cool!

The identity of the actor playing Deathstroke remains unknown at this point, but there has been speculation regarding Joe Manganielo being the man behind the costume.

Nevertheless, this serves as a great teaser of more to come regarding Affleck’s Batman movie and the ever expanding DCEU characters.

Speaking of DCEU, it is also likely that Deathstroke will appear in Justice League (which is probably where the footage is from). Justice League comes out on November 17, 2016. Stay tuned!

The premiere episode will also be available later this week on Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services; later this month on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 3, and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox 360®; and the week of Sept. 13 for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for compatible Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

Comic-con 2016: Marvel Studios brought the stars at Hall H. Unveils new logo

Marvel Studios brought their big guns and the stars on Saturday at San Diego Convention Center. The studio revealed a new trailer for Doctor Strange, early footage of Spider-Man: Homecoming, some behind-the-scenes look at Thor: Ragnarok, and the first trailer from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.

To begin its presentation at this year’s Comic-Con, the studio also unveiled its new logo with a fanfare music score by composer Michael Giacchino (Up).

Comic-Con: Warner Bros teases Justice League, Wonder Woman, Fantastic Beasts, and more

Warner Bros. Pictures shared their plans at SDCC and brought in the stars and filmmakers of their upcoming slate of films hosted by Conan O’Brien on Saturday, July 23 at San Diego Convention Center, Hall H.

The studio also gave sneak peaks of their spectacular lineups such as Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Lego Batman Movie, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Kong: Skull Island, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The Warner Bros. Comic-Con panel also made it official that Ben Affleck’s Batman movie is officially happening, with the actor both directing and starring as the Caped Crusader. “It’s really inspiring. It’s like taking on a great play. It’s been reinvented so many times, it’s terrifying but it’s exciting,” Affleck said.

New BTS Images From Suicide Squad Show Off The Props

The marketing blitz for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad continues today via EW’s Instagram account, where photographer Clay Enos (who worked on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and is also hard at work on Justice League), shared several photos from the set of the upcoming DC Comics adaptation. Unlike the stills EW released earlier this week, these ones feature a bunch of the film’s props, giving us some neat BTS shots in the process.

Seen in the gallery above, Enos’ photos show off Ayer immersing himself in the Joker’s massive collection of “toys,” Harley Quinn’s bats and a Joker playing card. Nothing too revealing, but we’ve already seen a hell of a lot from Suicide Squad and at this stage, I think Warner Bros. is better off holding back on new material. After all, we don’t want everything to be spoiled before we even walk into the theatre.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., June. 12th, 2016 — Leading developer and publisher of digital entertainment, Telltale Games, with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, today unveiled the first look at BATMAN – The Telltale Series ahead of its worldwide debut this summer.

The episodic game series will premiere digitally on home consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile devices, and will be shown to guests attending the annual E3 Gaming Expo this coming week in Los Angeles. The series will also be available on game consoles as a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ which will be available at retailers across North America, Latin America, and Europe later this summer, granting access to the five episode season as it becomes available for download.
