Rogue State #1 becomes all time best seller for Black Mask, selling out on launch day with a second printing announced. Black Mask is rushing Rogue State to second printing with two covers by Jasmin Darnell (Godkiller) that will arrive in both standard and ‘gallery’ (no-text) editions.

While Jasmin Darnell’s cover art presents a powerful image of post-apocalyptic street artist Dust Girl, Ramon Villalobos’ Tour Cover pays homage to the history of socially-engaged public art in San Francisco’s Mission District, where Rogue State is set.

Rogue State #1 reunites C. Hard-Boiled Crime Thriller “Blood Tree” Set To Launch In February 2023

Fan-favorites Peter J. Tomasi (Batman and Robin, Superman, Black Adam: The Dark Age, Super-Sons, Detective Comics) and Maxim Šimić (Escape from New York, Worlds Apart) team up for Blood Tree, an all-new ongoing series set to launch from Image Comics in February 2023.

In Blood Tree, two obsessed NYPD detectives hunt for a vicious butcher called the Angel Killer, a sociopath who preys on the innocent family members of known murderers in order to “purify” the rest of society.

This new story confronts the battle of nature versus nurture, considers how present and future generations are tainted by past generations, and asks the age-old question: Who must pay for the sins of the fathers—and perhaps even the sins of the mothers?

“I always wanted to take a shot at writing a taut and haunting crime drama in the tradition of Silence of the Lambs meets Seven,” said Tomasi.

Šimić added: “This book will surely grip the reader the same way it gripped me after reading the entire script. It’s dark, action packed, and, best of all, it’s got great characters.”

Marvel Entertainment’s original podcast series Women of Marvel is set for return\ for an all-new season on Thursday, November 3.

In the weekly series, hosts Ellie Pyle, Angélique Roché, and Judy Stephens spotlight women storytellers, fans, and industry experts in insightful conversations with people of all backgrounds to show how they make a powerful and positive impact on our stories.

The theme of the Winter 2022 season, “The Super Power of Mentorship,” focuses on the relationships behind and between accomplished heroes in the Marvel Universe and the mentors, teachers, and inspirations that helped guide and encourage them. Super Heroes are only so powerful; they don’t learn how to be heroes alone. Fans can tune-in to hear how some of their favorite heroes have benefited from and been shaped by their super powered mentors.

Through conversations with artists, writers, creators, and some of our very own Women of Marvel, the season explores relationships between fan-favorite characters including Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan, Storm and Kitty Pryde, and Janet and Nadia Van Dyne. Henry Cavill Confirms “I Am Back as Superman”

Henry Cavill has confirmed in a social media post today that he is returning as Superman. This following his cameo at the end of the new Warner Bros-DC “Black Adam.”

Cavil posted, “I wanted to make it official: I am back as Superman…Thank you for your support and thank you for your patience. I promise it will be rewarded.”

“A very small taste of what’s to come, my friends. The dawn of hope renewed. Thank you for your patience, it will be rewarded,” the actor posted on Instagram.

Cavill first played the role of Superman in 2013’s Man of Steel. This was followed by the character’s return in two follow-up films (2016), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and 2017’s Justice League (2017). However, there is some indication that his return may not follow these versions of the character. In “Black Adam” he walked out to the classic Superman theme and not the Hans Zimmer theme created for “Man of Steel.”

Cavill also plays Geralt in Netflix’s fantasy series The Witcher, and as Sherlock Holmes opposite Millie Bobby Brown in the Enola Holmes films.

Today, Marvel Entertainment and SiriusXM announced their newest original scripted podcast, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Doom, will premiere on Monday, September 12.

Marvel’s Wastelanders: Doom is the fifth installment of the popular “Marvel’s Wastelanders” audio epic, following the success of Marvel’s Wastelanders: Star-Lord, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Black Widow, and Marvel’s Wastelanders: Wolverine. Too Dead To Die Promises Espionage Intrigue This December

Greg Pak Returns To Sakaar In Planet Hulk: Worldbreaker
