LAIKA continues 15th Anniversary Celebration with Screenings of All Its Films and Key Filmmaker Panels

LAIKA, whose five films (Missing Link, Kubo and the Two Strings, The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman and Coraline) have all received Oscar® nominations for Best Animated Film, will partner with the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry (OMSI) for multiple screenings of all its films as well as filmmaker discussions and a display of puppets and sets this October.

Last week, LAIKA announced it is currently in production on the animated feature film Wildwood, based on the bestselling novel written by Colin Meloy, lead singer and songwriter for The Decemberists, and illustrated by artist Carson Ellis. LAIKA President & CEO Travis Knight will direct.

Marvel Entertainment Aand SiriusXM Premiere New Scripted Podcast Series “Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye” On Oct 4

The Marvel’s Wastelanders adventure continues! Marvel Entertainment and SiriusXM announced their latest original scripted podcast series, Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye, will premiere on Monday, October 4.

Marvel’s Wastelanders: Hawkeye is the second installment in the Marvel’s Wastelanders audio epic. The 10-episode original scripted podcast series is written by J. Holtham (Jessica Jones), directed by Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown), with original sound design by One Thousand Birds, and an original score by James Harrison Monaco and JJJJJerome Ellis.

The series stars Stephen Lang (Avatar) as Hawkeye, Sasha Lane (Loki) as Ash, and features performances by Jess Barbagallo (Max), Michelle Hurd (Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird), Bobby Moreno (Junior), Joe Morton (Ringmaster), Tracie Thoms (Kate Bishop), with Lea DeLaria (Raven/Mystique).

Thirty years ago, the villains of the world rose up and killed all the heroes. Well, all the heroes that mattered. The sole survivor of the Avengers, Hawkeye (Lang) is now a sideshow freak, re-living the worst day of his life for paying audiences. He’s surly, broken, and losing his sight, but there’s still that fire in him to be a hero, to avenge his friends. And he’s ready to do what needs to be done: killing every last person responsible for the deaths of those he loved the most.

Cast of Upcoming Elevated Thriller “The Man In The White Van” Announced

Garrison Film Productions Inc. (OTC: EMDF) and Legion M announced today that Sean Astin (Stranger Things, Lord of the Rings, Supergirl, No Good Nick), Ali Larter (The Rookie, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Legally Blonde) and Madison Wolfe (The Conjuring 2, I Kill Giants, True Detective) have signed on to star in their upcoming true-crime thriller feature film THE MAN IN THE WHITE VAN.

Also confirmed among the cast are Brec Bassinger (Stargirl, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, Bella and The Bulldogs), Skai Jackson (Muppets Haunted Mansion, Sex Appeal, Bunk’d), Gavin Warren (The Descendant, Geechee, First Man) and Julianne Arrieta (Reagan).

The film teams writer/director/producer Warren Skeels (Siesta Key), executive producers Legion M, Gary Kompothecras, and Lawrence Najem with producers Terri Lubaroff (Archenemy) and Anne Marie Gillen (Fried Green Tomatoes). THE MAN IN THE WHITE VAN is co-written by Sharon Y. Cobb (June) and co-produced by Mike Page and Arlie Day, who also handled casting. The project marks the first collaboration between financier Garrison Film and Legion M, and will be the first-ever production from Garrison Film’s innovative new film financing entity.

Ghost & Volbeat Announce Co-Headline 2022 Arena Tour

Ghost & Volbeat is set to have Twin Temple as special guest.

Co-Produced by Live Nation and Frank Productions, the 26-city tour kicks off on January 25 in Reno, Nevada’s Reno Events Center making stops across the U.S. in Denver, Chicago, Dallas, and more before wrapping up in Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center on March 3.

General tickets on sale starting Friday, September 24 at 10am local time on LiveNation.com. Each stop of the tour will require fans to provide either proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of each event OR full vaccination for entry, unless where prohibited by law. He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe Animated Series Soundtrack Released

Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAT) and Warner Music Group’s (NASDAQ: WMG) Arts Music division today announced the release of the soundtrack for the new CG-animated series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Available now on Netflix, the series reimagines the heroic adventures of the Guardians of Grayskull for the next generation of kids and families. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Volume 1 (Original Series Soundtrack) is available today for digital download and on streaming services.

The soundtrack was composed by Emmy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Michael Kramer and includes the Series Theme Song by platinum producer and songwriter Ali Dee. Kramer’s credits include music for Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and video games such as Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Dee has written and produced hit songs for a wide variety of artists including Miley Cyrus and Shakira as well as soundtracks for Marvel’s Iron Man and 20th Century Fox’s Alvin and the Chipmunks.

For one night only, Chappelle will screen his ‘untitled’ documentary at the Hollywood Bowl. The film is produced by Dave Chappelle and produced and directed by Oscar and Emmy-winning filmmakers Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar (American Factory).

LAIKA’s next animated feature film is Wildwood, based on the bestselling novel written by Colin Meloy, lead singer and songwriter for The Decemberists, and illustrated by artist Carson Ellis. The announcement was made today by Travis Knight, President & CEO of the award-winning animation studio, who will direct the film. Wildwood is currently in production at LAIKA’s facility outside Portland, Oregon.

Dua Lipa Announces Highly Anticipated North American Future Nostalgia Tour

‘BATTLEFIELD 2042’ Official Soundtrack Released

Battlefield 2042 Official Soundtrack has now been made available to stream on Spotify from Lakeshore Records, co-composed by two-time Grammy Award, Academy Award, Golden Globe, Emmy, and BAFTA Award-winning composer Hildur Guðnadóttir (Joker, Chernobyl) and two-time Grammy Award-winning music producer and composer Sam Slater (score producer Joker, Chernobyl).
