Mia Goth Is Back For A24’s “MaXXXine”

MaXXXineDirector Ti West and star Mia Goth as the titular Maxine Minx, are uniting for MaXXXine, the final movie in their X film series.

The latest trailer highlights what has become of the setory of Maxine, who was the sole survivor of the massacre in the first film.

Alongside Mia Goth, is Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, with Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.

The film is set for release in theaters on July 5th. A24 also announced the re-release X for one night only in theaters on June 18. Watch “MaXXXine” trailer below:

Lionsgate’s Horror Thriller “Blackwater Lane” Sets Release

The upcoming horror thriller form Lionsgate stars starring Minka Kelly, Maggie Grace, Dermot Mulroney, Alan Calton, and Natalie Simpson.

It is set for release in theaters and digital and on-demand on June 21st, 2024.

“THE G” Revenge Thriller Sets Release To UK Cinemas

The-GUK film outfit Lightbulb Film Distribution has announced that “The G” will be released in UK & Irish cinemas nationwide from Friday 21st June.

Written and directed by Karl R. Hearne, the film stars Dale Dickey (Winter’s Bone, Hell Or High Water) and Romane Denis.

The UK premiere took place at Glasgow Film Festival.

In the film, a mysterious older woman seeks revenge on the corrupt legal guardian who destroyed her life.

Lightbulb has also shared a first-look of the theatrical poster.

THE G will be coming to UK & Irish cinemas on 21st June.

Kill-Your-LoverDark Sky Films has released the trailer for “Kill Your Lover”, a horror film from writer-director-producers Alix Austin and Keir Siewert.

The film stars Paige Gilmour, Shane Quigley Murphy, May Kelly, Chloe Wigmore, and Joshua Whincup.

Dakota and Axel’s relationship is a toxic mess. She knows it, everybody does…except Axel. The only thing is, until Dakota tries to break up with Axel, she doesn’t know how truly toxic it will become. The mere idea of splitting up causes Axel to become intensely ill, sprouting grotesque black veins and excreting a strange sticky liquid. “Boneyard” Starring Mel Gibson, 50 Cent Official Trailer Released

boneyard-mel-gibson-50-centLionsgate has released the official trailer for “Boneyard”, the upcoming film from director Asif Akbar (The Commando, Nevada Heist).

Inspired by true events, the upcoming crime thriller stars Brian Van Holt, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Nora Zehetner, Michael Sirow, and Mel Gibson.

“Boneyard” follows an FBI special agent and the Albuquerque police department hunt for a serial killer nicknamed The Bone Collector. The chief of police and one of his officers, however, believe someone in the department may be the killer.

Boneyard is set for release in US theaters on July 5, and on VOD in the US and Canada on July 2, 2024.

“The Girl In The Trunk”: Claustrophobic Thriller Set for US & Canada Digital Release This May

The-Girl-In-The-TrunkWednesday 1st May, London, UK: Sunrise Films have announced the release of their upcoming claustrophobic horror/thriller The Girl in the Trunk. The film is set to be available on all major digital platforms in the USA & Canada from 28th May.

Starring Caspar Phillipson (Jackie, Blonde) and Katharina Sporrer (Genius), this thriller is written and directed by Jonas Kvist Jensen.

In the film, a woman finds herself kidnapped and entrapped in the enclosed space of a speeding car’s trunk, wearing her wedding dress, and with her phone as the only available tool. The situation deteriorates gradually as a failed escape attempt costs the life of an innocent bystander.

With the clock ticking towards a slow death from heat exhaustion in the Texas desert, a psychotic kidnapper at the wheel, Amanda is forced to make her own luck in the end. A dangerous game of questions and deadly consequences – to be played over the phone with the mysterious kidnapper – seems the only way to maybe discover his true identity, getting help or simply fighting her painful way towards a fleeting chance of escape.

“Trap” Trailer: M. Night Shyamalan’s Last Featuring Josh Hartnett

trapWarner Bros. released a trailer for the M. Night Shyamalan’s newest thriller, “Trap.”

The trailer follows a father and his daughter a pop concert. “This is literally the best day of my life,” she exclaims. Later they “realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event,” per the logline.

Unlike the usual Shyamalan film, the trailer seem to have given away the story’s twist, though its very possible that the director have more up his sleeves.

The thriller features Josh Hartnett as a serial killer at a pop star’s concert. Also in the film are Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill.

Trap is set to hits theaters Aug. 9.
