New Teaser Trailer For “The Penguin” Released

the-penguinThe second official teaser trailer for Max’s upcoming “The Penguin” has been released, giving a better look at the upcoming series. A spinoff from The Batman, “The Penguin” follows the transformation of Oswald Cobblepot from a disfigured nobody to a noted Gotham gangster.

It stars Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, the titular DC Gotham City villain. “I’m gonna tear down the empire from the inside out,” Oz says in the clip.

Also in “The Penguin” are Alex Anagnostidis, Clancy Brown, Carmen Ejogo, Cristin Milioti, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly, Michael Zegen and Deirdre O’Connell.

The eight-episode limited series is set to premiere in September 2024. Check out the stunning new official teaser trailer for “The Penguin” below.

Apple TV+ Debuts “Sunny” Trailer Starring Rashida Jones

sunny-appletvApple recently debuted the official trailer for its new mystery series “Sunny” which is created by Kate Robbins and stars Rashida Jones.

“Sunny” is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ on July 10 with its first two episodes, and then followed by one new episode every Wednesday up to September 4.

Also in the upcoming dark comedy are Hidetoshi Nishijima, Joanna Sotomura, Judy Ongg, YOU, annie the clumsy and Jun Kunimura.

“Sunny” follows American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, whose life is upended when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash. As “consolation” she’s given Sunny, one of a new class of domestic robots made by her husband’s electronics company. Though at first, Suzie resents Sunny’s attempts to fill the void in her life, gradually they develop an unexpected friendship. Together they uncover the dark truth of what really happened to Suzie’s family and become dangerously enmeshed in a world Suzie never knew existed.

“Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Sets Spinoff Debut Date

Tales-of-the-Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-TurtlesParamount+ has released the full trailer for “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, its animated series spin-off of last year’s hit film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem”.

According to the show’s synopsis, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles “explores the adventures of everyone’s favorite pizza-loving heroes as they emerge from the sewers onto the streets of NYC. Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey are faced with new threats and team up with old allies to survive both teenage life and villains lurking in the shadows of the Big Apple.”

Tales features the voice cast of reprising Nicolas Cantu (The Amazing World of Gumball) as Leo, Micah Abbey (Cousins for Life) as Donnie, Shamon Brown Jr. (The Chi) as Mikey, and Brady Noon (Family Switch) as Raphael.

The 2D-animated show on Paramount Plus is set to run for 12 episodes.

“Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is set for release on August 9th on Paramount Plus.

“Angry Birds Mystery Island” New Trailer Released

Angry-Birds-Mystery-IslandAngry Birds Mystery Island, the new animated original series featuring new characters from Rovio Entertainment Corporation, is set to debut the first eight episodes simultaneously on Amazon Kids+ and Prime Video on Tuesday, May 21st.

The just hatched Trailer gives a sneak “beak” of what fans can expect from the talented cast as they give a voice to three new hatchling characters: Mia, Rosie, Buddy plus a foreign-exchange piglet named Hamylton. This follows the announcement of the 24 episode order for the first season.

Angry Birds Mystery Island features an ensemble cast including Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows), Kate Micucci (Scooby-Doo!), Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of the Rings), and Nasim Pedrad (Saturday Night Live). The series was developed by Amazon Kids+ and showrunner Eric Rogers (Futurama), and is being produced by Titmouse Inc. (The Legend of Vox Machina).

Official Trailer for “The Boys: Season 4”

the-boys-season-4A new trailer has been released for Prime Video’s The Boys Season 4, ahead of the show’s debut next month. The trailer gives fans the best look yet for upcoming return of the superhero satire.

“The Boys” stars Antony Starr, Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher and Chace Crawford.

In the upcoming season four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.

The Boys season 4 is set to kick off the season premiere on June 13.

Official Trailer for Hulu’s Upcoming “Prom Dates”

prom-date-hulu“Prom Dates” star Antonia Gentry, Julia Lester, Chelsea Handler, John Michael Higgins, Kenny Ridwan, JT Neal, Jordan Buhat, Zión Moreno, Terry Hu.

The comedy is directed by Kim O Nguyen, who directed the acclaimed 2012 Canadian dramatic war film “War Witch”.

The film follows Jess and Hannah, who, at 13 years old made a pact to have the perfect prom, only 24 hours before the big event, everything is ruined when they break up with their dates. Now they have one night to find new dates and make the fantasy comes true.

Prom Dates is set for release by Hulu on May 3, 2024.

Prime Video’s “Them: The Scare” Official Trailer Released

Them-The-ScareToday, Prime Video has released the official trailer of the horror anthology series Them: The Scare. This second installment will consist of eight episodes and premiere on Thursday, April 25, 2024, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. All episodes will be available upon release.

THEM will once again be set in Los Angeles (the first installment, subtitled Covenant, took place in Compton circa 1952 but will move the time frame forward to 1991).

The story centers on LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve, who is assigned to a new case: the gruesome murder of a foster home mother that has left even the most hardened detectives shaken. Navigating a tumultuous time in Los Angeles, with a city on the razor’s edge of chaos, Dawn is determined to stop the killer. But as she draws closer to the truth, something ominous and malevolent grips her and her family.

Riley Keough & Lily Gladstone Search for a Killer in “Under the Bridge”

Under-The-BridgeHulu has released the official trailer for “Under the Bridge” which star Lily Gladstone, Riley Keough and Archie Panjabi.

The true crime drama series is based on Rebecca Godfrey’s 2005 book, “Under the Bridge”. It is adapted by Quinn Shephard.

Here, Reena Virk ( (Vritika Gupta), a fourteen-year-old girl, went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Seven teenage girls and a boy were accused of the savage murder.

Under the Bridge is set to premiere on Hulu April 17. Watch the trailer below.

New Teaser For “The Penguin” Released

the-penguinThe trailer for the next chapter in The Batman saga from Matt Reeves has been released.

In the new Max original series, Academy Award Nominee Colin Farrell is The Penguin, which was created and written by Lauren LeFranc. Craig Zobel directed the first three episodes.

Farrell is reprising this titular role from the 2022 film The Batman, so let’s hope Robert Pattinson would make a surprise cameo as Batman. As seen on the trailer, Cristin Milioti’s Sofia Falcone is also in the series.

The eight-episode miniseries is coming this fall to Max. Watch the First Teaser for The Penguin below:
