Starring Edgar Ramírez, Abbey Lee, Anthony LaPaglia from creators Donald Todd, Netflix is set to release “Florida Man” on April 13, 2023.

Netflix has announced that Cobra Kai is set to return for its sixth and final season “soon.”

The hugely successful series brought Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) taking on sensei Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith).

Creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg call the decision “bittersweet” but anticipates to bring Cobra Kai to a close the way they want.

“Reacquainting the world with The Karate Kid universe has been our humble honor,” executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg said in a statement. “Our day one goal with Cobra Kai has always been to end it on our terms, leaving the Valley in the time and place we’ve always imagined. So it is with immense pride and thankfulness that we are able to announce that achievement. The upcoming Season Six will mark the conclusion of Cobra Kai.”

Cobra Kai episodes are available to stream on Netflix.

That is the premise of Netflix’s autobiographical drama “True Spirit”.

In the film, an Australian teenager plans to become the youngest sailor to have travelled the world alone. In doing so, the intrepid 16-year-old not only seeks to fulfil her dream, she also faces her greatest fears at the same time.

The film stars Teagan Croft, Cliff Curtis, Anna Paquin, and Josh Lawson. The film is directed by Sarah Spillane from the screenplay of Sarah Spillane, Cathy Randall.

Netflix is set to release “True Spirit” on February 3, 2023.

“Heartstopper” Leads Winners at 1st Annual Children’s & Family Emmys

Heartstopper Renewed For Season 2 and 3 On NetflixThe National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced the winners today of the first Annual Children’s & Family Creative Arts Emmy® Awards.

Heartstopper took the most awards of the night, with four, including best guest performance in a preschool, children’s or young teen program (Heartstopper) for Olivia Colman, and outstanding lead performance in a preschool, children’s or young teen program for Kit Connor.

Netflix’s superhero series Kid Cosmic also took multiple awards, winning two for achievement in animation.

NATAS had created the Children’s and Family Emmy Awards to recognize the best in children’s and family television.

The event was hosted by JoJo Siwa (Dec. 10) and Jack McBrayer (Dec. 11) and took place this evening at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Trailer For The Pale Blue Eye Thriller Starring Christian Bale ReleasedChristian Bale is reuniting with Scott Cooper for the upcoming thriller “The Pale Blue Eye”. The film is adapted from the 2003 novel by Louis Bayard of the same name.

Bale aand Cooper previously worked together in the 2013 crime drama “Out of the Furnace”, as well as 2017’s classic western “Hostiles”.

Written, directed, and produced by Scott Cooper, the film also stars Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Toby Jones, Timothy Spall, and Robert Duvall.

The Pale Blue Eye is set to be released in select theaters on December 23, 2022, followed by relaase on Netflix on January 6, 2023.

Heartstopper Renewed For Season 2 and 3 On Netflix“Heartstopper” fans have plenty to celebrate today. Charlie and Nick of the Netflix’s queer teen hit series, is set to return for a second and third season. Netflix confirmed the news on Friday that that the series has beeen renewed for two more seasons.

Produced by See-Saw Films, the live-action adaptation of Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper graphic novel began airing only recently on April 22, 2022.

The writer and creator of both the show and the webcomic/graphic novel, Alice Oseman, revealed the renewal via the Netflix blog, drawing the stories’ lead characters along with a message that said

“Two more seasons,” the writer and creator of both the show and the webcomic/graphic novel, Alice Oseman reveals on the Netflix blog. “We were overjoyed with the global reaction to Heartstopper and can’t wait to continue the story with two more seasons,” Oseman added.

“Heartstopper” features the developing friendship between an openly gay teen Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and popular school rugby player Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) which the former has affection for while attending an all-boys grammar school.

The series is an instant global hit for Netflix, reaching the top 10 in more than 50 countries, and currently holds 100% rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

The recordings is set to be available April 20th on all major digital platforms, coinciding with the Season Two launch on Netflix.

2022 BAFTA Awards: “The Power of the Dog” Wins Best Film

It was a big day for “The Power of The Dog”, with the film winning the top prize at the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards. Netflix’s Western drama also won best director for Jane Campion.

Based on Thomas Savage’s 1967 novel of the same name, the Western psychological drama came into the night with eight nominations.

The ceremony at Royal Albert Hall in London also brought Warner Bros plenty to celebrate, as its sci-fi epic “Dune” dominated in the technical categories categories, five trophies which is the most for the night. The film won for Production Design, Special Visual Effects, Cinematography, Sound and Original Score.

For the top acting cateogires, Joanna Scanlan won leading actress for After Love, and Will Smith won best actor for King Richard.

This year’s BAFTA Awards, which was hosted by Rebel Wilson, saw the return of a full in person ceremony, after last year’s mostly virtual show.

The scars on his ripped abs that he posted on Instagram (caption: “When you take work home with you”) were thankfully just make-up. But doing his own stunts did bring occupational hazards. “Because I was training hard in the gym throughout the whole process, it became difficult for any injuries to heal.

You stress the muscles so much when you’re super-dehydrated and tired at the end of the day that little things can happen, like muscle pulls, which never quite go away.”
