Trailer Story Ave Starring Luis GuzmanThe film follows South Bronx teen Kadir (Asante Blackk), a gifted visual artist who loses his way following the death of his younger brother. Overcome with grief and struggling with the pressures of school and family, he escapes into the thrilling yet dangerous world of graffiti gangs. To prove himself and join his neighborhood’s ruling gang, Kadir tries to rob no-nonsense MTA conductor Luis (Luis Guzmán), but is caught off guard when Luis agrees to give Kadir cash if he’ll sit down to have a meal with him. Following their conversation and the delicate, transformative friendship that grows out of it, Kadir sees for the first time how his artistic talent could lead to a better life.

Directed by Aristotle Torres, with script from Aristotle Torres and Bonsu Thompson, the film stars Asante Blackk, Luis Guzmán, Alex Hibbert, Melvin Gregg, Coral Peña, Cassandra Freeman, Hassan Johnson.

Aristotle Torres is a writer/director out of NYC who developed STORY AVE first as a short film and then through the prestigious Sundance Labs. An accomplished music video director in the past, Aristotle has worked with artists such as J Cole, Nas, 2Chainz, and Ludacris. He has directed commercials and campaigns for brands such as Pepsi, Red Bull, Under Armour, and Starbucks. He also has written and directed short films that have played at various festivals across the world.

“Story Ave” is SXSW 2023 winner for Special Jury Award for Cinematography.

The Man In The White Van World Premiere At 23 Newport Beach Film FestivalDirected by Warren Skeels, “The Man In The White Van” stars Madison Wolfe, Brec Bassinger, Skai Jackson, Ali Larter, and Sean Astin. It is set to have its world premiere at ’23 Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday, October 14.

Inspired by a true story, “The Man in the White Van” follows the harrowing experience of young Annie Williams, a spirited girl whose carefree life is turned upside down as she becomes stalked by an ominous man in a white van. It delves into the eerie underbelly of a seemingly idyllic 1974 Florida town.

The tranquility of Annie’s world, from her love of horseback riding to her leisurely strolls home from school in the nearby woods, begins to crumble as the menacing white van inches closer and closer. As her parents’ skepticism increasingly grows, Annie finds herself psychologically isolated, and on Halloween night her worst fears materialize into a full-blown nightmare as she gets abducted.

“The Man in the White Van” is the feature debut of award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker Warren Skeels. It is based on actual events of the serial killer Billy Mansfield Jr., and captures a bone-chilling story of a young girl’s unimaginable horrors, and every parent’s worst nightmare.

Netflix Drops Trailer For Annette Bening and Jodie Foster Swimmer Biopic ‘Nyad’

TheThe biopic NYAD tell a remarkable true story of athlete Diana Nyad who, at the age of 60 and with the help of her best friend and coach, commits to achieving her life-long dream: a 110-mile open ocean swim from Cuba to Florida.

Directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, the film stars Jodie Foster, Rhys Ifans, Annette Bening.

Last week on on September 1, the film had its world premiere at the 50th Telluride Film Festival.

“Nyad” is set to premiere in selected theaters on Oct. 20, followed by streaming on Netflix starting on Nov. 3.

Emily Blunt and Chris Evans Struggle in “Pain Hustlers”

“Pain Hustlers” follows a woman struggling to raise her daughter and becomes involved in a dangerous racketeering scheme after taking a job at a failing pharmaceutical start-up.

The upcoming crime drama film is directed by David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter films as well as three of the Fantastic Beats films which are spin-off prequels to the Potter series. It is written by Wells Tower.

Starring Emily Blunt, Chris Evans, Andy García, Catherine O’Hara, Jay Duplass, the film is set to be released by Netflix on October 27, 2023.
