The Man In The White Van World Premiere At 23 Newport Beach Film FestivalDirected by Warren Skeels, “The Man In The White Van” stars Madison Wolfe, Brec Bassinger, Skai Jackson, Ali Larter, and Sean Astin. It is set to have its world premiere at ’23 Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday, October 14.

Inspired by a true story, “The Man in the White Van” follows the harrowing experience of young Annie Williams, a spirited girl whose carefree life is turned upside down as she becomes stalked by an ominous man in a white van. It delves into the eerie underbelly of a seemingly idyllic 1974 Florida town.

The tranquility of Annie’s world, from her love of horseback riding to her leisurely strolls home from school in the nearby woods, begins to crumble as the menacing white van inches closer and closer. As her parents’ skepticism increasingly grows, Annie finds herself psychologically isolated, and on Halloween night her worst fears materialize into a full-blown nightmare as she gets abducted.

“The Man in the White Van” is the feature debut of award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker Warren Skeels. It is based on actual events of the serial killer Billy Mansfield Jr., and captures a bone-chilling story of a young girl’s unimaginable horrors, and every parent’s worst nightmare.

“The Man In The White Van” is from Garrison Film and Legion M production, and is written by Sharon Y. Cobb and Warren Skeels. Executive producers include Gary Kompothecras, Michael Nole, Paul Scanlan, Jeff Annison, David Baxter, Sean Astin, and Ali Larter. Terri Lubaroff and Anne Marie Gillen are listed as producers. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to be available on digital from Paramount Home Entertainment starting July 11, 2023. Fans who purchase the film on Digital can immerse themselves in the world of TRANSFORMERS with over an hour of thrilling bonus content.

Focus Features Celebrates 30 Years of ‘Dazed and Confused’

dazed and confused 30Focus Features is commemorating the 30th anniversary of Richard Linklater’s critically acclaimed cult classic, DAZED AND CONFUSED, with a series of exclusive events and celebrations in honor of the beloved film’s enduring impact on cinema and culture today. Written and directed by Richard Linklater and originally released in September 1993, DAZED AND CONFUSED explores the last day of school—and one wild night—in the lives of high school students in 1976. The film features a stacked ensemble cast including Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posey, Ben Affleck, Milla Jovovich, and Anthony Rapp among many others. Anniversary celebrations first commenced in April timed to 4/20 when Focus hosted more than 100 anniversary screenings at theaters in major cities across the U.S, including Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Austin, Washington DC, and New York City.

The DAZED fun will continue with a weekend of activity at San Diego Comic Con from July 20-23, including an immersive pop-up at the Interactive Zone where fans can purchase exclusive anniversary merch (only available at the Con), photo-opps featuring iconic scenes from the film, and themed giveaways. Fans can also relive the film through three separate screenings on Friday, July 21, Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 at the Digital Gym Cinema in downtown San Diego. During the Con, convention attendees can also enter a special sweepstakes to win a trip to Austin, TX, the film’s iconic setting, for a special DAZED reunion-filled weekend. Additionally, Focus is partnering with Vidiots, L.A.’s legendary video store and film hub, recently relaunched at the historic Eagle Theatre, for a special DAZED AND CONFUSED takeover featuring two screenings in Vidiots’ newly renovated 271-seat, state-of-the-art cinema on Saturday, July 29th Fans attending screenings will be treated to a special commemorative movie poster as well as several DAZED-themed giveaways. DAZED Celebrations will culminate in a jam-packed cast reunion weekend in partnership with Austin Film Society on Sept 16th and 17th in Austin, TX. Kicking off on Saturday, September 16, the Round Rock Express will host a Dazed and Confused anniversary themed baseball game with exclusive merchandise, a pre-game panel discussion with members of the film’s cast and a first pitch thrown by Linklater. NEEDTOBREATHE To Bring Renowned Live Show To Arenas Across The Country With “The CAVES World Tour”

Grammy-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE is set to bring their “high-energy, infectious” (Music Row) live show to arenas across the country this fall with “The CAVES World Tour.” The first leg of the tour is set to kick off October 13 in Savanah, GA and will feature alternative rock band Judah & The Lion as special guests. Tickets will be available starting Monday, June 5 with an Insider’s presale. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, June 9 at NEEDTOBREATHE.com.

NEEDTOBREATHE has built a “massive live following” (Rolling Stone) and developed a reputation for their energetic “southern groove” (New York Times) and “some of the best vocal performances, instrumentation and stage presence” (Toronto Star).

The Tribeca Music Lounge, sponsored by Tubi, is open to the public from June 8-11 and offers Festival attendees the opportunity to experience the intersection of film and music.

The Music Lounge highlights four distinct experiences, kicking off with an “Indie Sleaze Revival” featuring New York City artists Tei Shi and Frost Children.

The weekend follows with a musical performance by David Duchovny, ahead of the world premiere of his film Bucky F*cking Dent; the first U.S. show of Australian Grammy-nominated artist Jitwam; R&B performance by the legendary Eddie Chacon; and an Iranian showcase with artists LuNika – the brother-sister duo behind the viral Iranian protest song “Women Life Freedom” – Habibi and Sussan Deyhim. The cast of Mountains is performing a comedy set, following the film’s world premiere at Tribeca; and Ali Dee is moderating a conversation on soundtracks with film composers from Tribeca Festival films, in partnership with BMI.

“Evil Dead Rise” is the fifth installment in the Evil Dead franchise.

Directed by Lee Cronin, the film stars Alyssa Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies, Nell Fisher, and Mia Challis.

“Evil Dead Rise” is set to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures on April 21, 2023.

NF Announces “Hope Tour”

The massive 47 show runs across the US, Canada, Europe, and UK in support of his forthcoming studio album, HOPE,  releasing April 7. Produced by Live Nation, the North American leg of the tour will feature special guest Cordae and kick off on Wednesday, July 12th at Schottenstein Center in Columbus making stops across the U.S. in Philadelphia, Anaheim, Denver, and more before wrapping up in Laval at Place Bell on Sunday, September 3rd. The 16-date European leg kicks off on September 23rd at the Fabrique in Milan making stops in Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, and more before wrapping up in London at Eventim Apollo on October 15th.

Last month NF returned with the stirring new single “HOPE” (NF Real Music/Virgin Music).
