PlayStation VR Reviews: generally positive

By Armando

As Sony prepares for the retail launch of PlayStation VR on October 13, joining the VR competition with Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Google Daydream VR already in the mix, early reviews generally suggest positive opinion, with some expressing reservation that, although good, it just might be too early. That said, Sony is in a good spot within the VR competition, as there are 40 million PlayStation 4 owners. The headset is also competitively priced, with PlayStation VR almost half the price compared to most of its competitors.

Here’s some early reviews of PlayStation VR ahead of it’s October 13 release. You might also want to watch the unboxing to whet your appetite and find out what comes with the package.

The Guardian

Sony’s entry into the world of consumer virtual reality is an impressive start but it’s not yet the affordable high-end VR experience some are dreaming of

The New York Times

Virtual reality is still in its early days, and it’s unclear whether it will ever catch on with people beyond gamers. If you already own a PlayStation, spending a few hundred dollars for the headgear and accessories is a worthwhile purchase to get started on virtual reality.

Film Stars Dominic Monaghan, Ksenia Solo & Jennette McCurdy

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2016) – Orion Pictures and Samuel Goldwyn Films announced today that they have acquired the psychological thriller PET, directed by Carles Torrens and written by Jeremy Slater. The film stars Dominic Monaghan (Lost, THE LORD OF THE RINGS Series), Ksenia Solo (BLACK SWAN, LOST GIRL), and Jennette McCurdy (iCarly, Sam & Cat). PET had its World Premiere at the 2016 South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin. Orion Pictures and Samuel Goldwyn Films will release the film in U.S. theaters and on demand on December 2, 2016, and it will be available on DVD on December 27.

In the vein of HARD CANDY and GONE GIRL, PET is a psychological thriller that deals with the themes of identity, loneliness, selflessness and what it means to truly belong to another. It’s told through the prism of two isolated people, Seth and Holly, seemingly different yet more similar than they even knew. PET is at its heart a dark love story that examines how much one is willing to sacrifice in the name of love.

‘Justice League’ Filming Wraps in London

By AICreativeMedia

That’s a wrap for the Justice League filming in London, England. According to Hollywood Reporter, the movie will now continue its filming in a more remote mystery location. The cast and crew will be celebrating a wrap party Saturday night in London.

Jason Momoa shared a photo as he celebrates on Instagram: “There’s to many people to thank for all their hard work JL. Tonight is our wrap party. I am so thankful for my cast and crew. I love you.”

Momoa also added that he is getting ready for another role by posting, “Unfortunately I prepare for the north. For those that will be there. I WON’T let you down.” That most likely refers to his highly anticipated “Aquaman” standalone film (or possibly Khal Drogo’s return to Game of Thrones?.)

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League unites superheroes Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).

The WB/DC movie hits theaters Nov. 17, 2017

Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

On September 9th, Lady Gaga released her much anticipated single, this dance rock track is the appetizer for her fifth album “Joanne,” that’s to be released October 21st,

Upon the release, the chorus made many believe this song was about her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney.

‘It wasn’t love, it wasn’t love
It was a perfect illusion (Perfect illusion)
Mistaken for love, it wasn’t love
It was a perfect illusion (Perfect illusion)
You were a perfect illusion,’

Was Gaga taking the Taylor Swift break-up route in her music?
