Wes Craig’s Popular New Series “Kaya” Rushed Back To Print

Image Comics has rushed the popular new fantasy series Kaya—by Deadly Class dynamo Wes Craig—back to print in order to keep up with escalating customer demand.

“Kaya and her supporting cast have become very real to me since I started working on this book,” said Craig. “So I can’t tell you how excited I am to find out readers and comic shops can feel that and want to be part of it. I’m very grateful.”

Lauded by bestselling writer Kieron Gillen as “an oasis of joy,” Kaya immediately skyrocketed in popularity upon its release last week. The series promises ongoing adventure and follows a pair of siblings surviving in a world of monsters and mutants.

Monkeys Fighting Robots called it, “a bold introduction to a new world created by Wes Craig. Readers looking for a battle for survival should enjoy what this tale has to tell” while ComicBook.com raved: “set to be one of the most exciting new series from Image Comics this year.”

After the destruction of their village a young girl with a magic arm and a fighting spirit is tasked with delivering her little brother to a faraway safe haven. There he’s destined to discover the secret to overthrowing the all-powerful empire that destroyed their home.
