By Armando

The CW. Photo: aiphotoimaging.com

The cast and creator of The CW’s post-apocalyptic science fiction series “The 100” were at WonderCon on Sunday, where fans were treated with the premiere episode of season 6 at the Arena.

The screening was followed by a Q&A where the cast and crew offered some insight and tidbits about the season.

And while the panel was understandably mum on details, the upcoming new season really looks like a winner if we’re to go by how fun and thrilling the season opener is.

Among those in attendance were cast members Eliza Taylor, JR Bourne, Marie Avgeropoulos, Richard Harmon, Taysa Teles, Sachin Sahel and Shannon Kook as well as executive producer and show creator Jason Rothenberg.

The last episode in the previous season ended what amounts to “Book One.” The new episode exclusively screened during WonderCon essentially opens “Book Two”, which gave us an early look at their visit on the new planet and many more. Is it habitable? What obstacles will they be facing?

Instead of me spoiling the fun away, scroll down below and have a look at the extended trailer which CW dropped a few days ago in case you missed it.

“The 100” is officially set to return to The CW on Tuesday April 30 at 9pm.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast and crew

The cast and crew of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were at WonderCon on Saturday, treating fans with a big surprise showing the world premiere of the 6th season’s opener.

Those present during the panel Q&A at Anaheim Convention Center’s Arena were Clark Gregg, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Henry Simmons, Jeff Ward, as well as series writer/producers Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen and Jeff Bell.

First off, the series premiere looks beautifully shot. And Clark Gregg may certainly have something to do with that, having directed the episode. The visuals never looked better, it look cinematic and spectacular at the giant Arena screen. Its a thrilling episode with plenty of twists and surprises.

The episode shows what’s become of the team, coping from the deaths of Fitz and Coulson in the previous season. May, Elena and Mack are rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D and now planning to look for new recruits, while Quake and Simmons are searching for Fitz in space.

Following the events of season 5, Greg who plays Phil Coulson from the very start of the series, may be playing a different character in the upcoming season, and may or may not be a very bad villain.

Not to spoil it to anyone, you can rest assured that his is quite a spectacular entrance, and an excellent set-up for what’s to come.

The panel also announced that the season 6 will premiere on May 10 which delighted attending fans. You may have already seen some of the show clips and trailer that ABC has been playing for a few weeks now, so this bit of info is certainly great news to those looking forward to the upcoming season.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is set to premiere May 10, 2019.

By Creative Media Times

Luke Perry, best known as Dylan McKay from TV drama “Beverly Hills, 90210” from the 90s, has died, according to his publicist, Arnold Robinson. He was 52. The actor died on Monday after suffering a massive stroke.

“He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends,” a statement from Robinson read. “The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. Last week, Perry was rushed to hospital after suffering a massive stroke. This happened on the the same day that a reboot of Beverly Hills, 90210 was announced.

Born Coy Luther Perry III, Perry shot to stardom after being cast as bad boy Dylan McKay on hit 90s TV series Beverly Hills, 90210. Though he initially audition a role that eventually went to co-star Ian Ziering, Perry and Dylan was a good fit, becoming one of the show’s most popular characters.

Perry also appeared on films such as “Good Intentions,” “8 Seconds,” “Red Wing” and the comedy horror “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” which writer Joss Whedon turned into a hit TV series.

He recently returned to TV with “Riverdale,” an ensemble cast based on the characters of Archie Comics where Perry plays Archie’s father Fred Andrews.

He is also set to appear in this summer’s hotly anticipated Quentin Tarantino ensemble “Upon A Time In Hollywood” where he plays late real-life actor Wayne Maunder.
