Lionsgate’s Sci-Fi Thriller “The Abandon” Has A New Trailer, Poster

theabandon“The Abandon” is directed by Jason Satterlund and written by Dwain Worrell, and stars Jonathan Rosenthal, Tamara Perry, Regis Terencio, Dan Kyle, and Priscilla Avila.

In the upcoming sci-fi thriller, U.S. soldier Miles Willis is shot and wounded during an intense firefight in Iraq, and he awakens to find himself trapped in a strange, colorless cube with nothing inside but his own combat gear.

As time passes, the cube begins to change: fluctuating extreme temperatures, random shifts of gravity, and strange writing appearing on the walls. His only communication is with a mystery woman who calls him on his satellite phone, claiming to be trapped in a similar space. As the clock ticks, the two of them must figure out who has them, why they were taken, and how to escape.

The Abandon is set to arrive in select cinemas on July 19th, and then followed by a digital release on July 30th.

Official Trailer For “A Real Pain” Released, Starring Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg

A-Real-PainSearchlight Pictures has released the first official trailer for “A Real Pain”, which stars Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg.

The comedy drama is written and directed by Eisenberg and premiered at Sundance earlier this year, where Eisenberg won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award.

The film follows mismatched cousins David and Benji (Eisenberg and Culkin) who reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the pair’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

Also in the film are Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy, Daniel Oreskes and Ellora Torchia.

“A Real Pain” is set to premiere on October 18 in theaters.

Suspense Thriller “Somnium” World Premiere At 2024 Chattanooga Film Festival

somniumWritten and directed by Racheal Cain, “Somnium” stars Chloë Levine (The OA), Will Peltz (Euphoria), Peter Vack (Someone Great), Johnathon Schaech (Ray Donovan), Clarissa Thibeaux (Runaways), and Grace Van Dien (Stranger Things).

“Somnium” follows small-town Gemma, who after a painful breakup, moves to Los Angeles with the hopes of making it big. To get on her feet, she takes a job working the overnight shift at Somnium – a mysterious, experimental sleep clinic where dreams are made real.

Meanwhile, Gemma throws herself into the cutthroat world of Hollywood auditions. But as the pressure to succeed mounts, she begins to experience strange and unsettling phenomena, and soon finds herself trapped in a nightmarish spiral as she discovers a darkness lurking within the clinic walls.

“With its gripping storyline and striking cinematography, SOMNIUM drags audiences through the horrifying consequences of tampering with the fabric of reality,” says the film’s synopsis.

Mia Goth Is Back For A24’s “MaXXXine”

MaXXXineDirector Ti West and star Mia Goth as the titular Maxine Minx, are uniting for MaXXXine, the final movie in their X film series.

The latest trailer highlights what has become of the setory of Maxine, who was the sole survivor of the massacre in the first film.

Alongside Mia Goth, is Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, with Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.

Piece-By-PieceThe animated musical comedy “Piece by Piece” tells the life story of Pharrell Williams through LEGO Animation. It is directed by Oscar-winner Morgan Neville.

The trailer features some of Williams’ hit songs, including “Happy.”

Described as “a unique cinematic experience that invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams,” says the synopsis. “Told through the lens of LEGO® animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music’s most innovative minds.”

The cast also includes Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, JAY-Z and Snoop Dogg.

“Piece by Piece” is set to hit theaters on Oct. 11.

The is said to be “a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”

Kinds of Kindness is set for release in theaters on June 21.

“Vindication Swim” Multi-Award Winning True Story Set For Release On Digital Platforms

Vindication Swim is based on the inspirational true story of Mercedes Gleitze, who in 1927 became the first British woman to swim the English Channel.

Directed by Elliott Hasler, Kirsten Callaghan plays the role of Mercedes Gleitze.

Vindication Swim also stars John Locke (Poor Things), Victoria Summer (Saving Mr. Banks), James Wilby (Poldark) and Douglas Hodge (Joker).

Official Trailer For New Fantasy Film “Tuesday” Released

TuesdayThe first trailer for Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s critically acclaimed new film “Tuesday” has been released.

The official synopsis says: “A mother and her teenage daughter must confront Death when it arrives in the form of an astonishing talking bird.”

“Tuesday” is written and directed by Daina O. Pusić, and marks Pusić’s feature directorial debut.

The film also stars Lola Petticrew, Arinzé Kene, Leah Harvey, Jay Simpson, Ellie James, Ewens Abid, Nathan Amzi, Taru Devani, Nathan Ives-Moiba.

Official New Trailer For “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” Released

Beetlejuice-Beetlejuice“The living, the dead… can they coexist? That’s what we’re here to find out,” Winona Ryder’s character Lydia says in the trailer.

Michael Keaton is back in the first official trailer for director Tim Burton‘s sequel “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”. The film is a follow-up to the director’s 1988 original “Beetlejuice”.

Along with Keaton in the titular role, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara who are also reprising their roles as Lydia Deetz and Delia Deetz respectively, the fantasy horror comedy also stars Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe.

“With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem,” says the synopsis.

“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is set to theaters on Sept. 6, 2024. It is distributed by Warner Bros.
