As Marvel continues to ramp up its summer movie promos, a brand new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premiered on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Tuesday night, and we finally saw Kurt Russel’s character Ego, Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt’s) father.
“After all these years, I’ve found you,” Ego the Living Planet tells Star-Lord (Pratt).

Pratt stood up to introduce himself while Kimmel appeared to not recognize him and have never heard of the original movie.
