Transformers One: “If I Fall” Single Released

transformers-oneQuavo, Ty Dolla $ign, and ARE WE DREAMING (Composer – Brian Tyler) join forces on their new collaborative anthem, “If I Fall,” for Paramount Animation and Hasbro Entertainment’s upcoming motion picture TRANSFORMERS ONE. The three superstars build off one another’s resilient verses, vowing to “take no prisoners” and refusing to give up when the odds are stacked against them. “It’s in my bloodline; I have too much pride,” declares Quavo on the track.

Set to release September 20th, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm. Debuting as the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.

“I started writing the song “If I Fall” as a personal way to both express my gratitude to those who truly lifted me up when I fell down in life and a rebuke of those who turned away,” says composer Brian Tyler. “This concept is the core story of TRANSFORMERS ONE, so it’s a synergistic song. The Story So Far Announce “I Want To Disappear” 2024 U.S. Tour

the-story-so-farCalifornia-based, rock band The Story So Far has just announced a U.S. fall tour celebrating their latest album release, I Want To Disappear. Supporting them on this Live Nation headlining tour are Superheaven and Koyo.

They will be making stops across the country, kicking off on November 21 in Nashville and visiting major cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Columbus, Brooklyn, Orlando, and Houston, among others. They will close out the tour on December 14 in San Francisco.

The Story So Far’s fifth studio album, I Want To Disappear came out on June 21 via Pure Noise Records. Hailed by Rolling Stone as “one of their most visceral pieces of work,” this record contains everything that’s brought the band international acclaim and success since their inception. It has punch, catchy guitar riffs, and urgent drum fills that define their signature sound. Gravitas will release the film through their hybrid distribution system composed of Comcast, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, Spectrum, Apple TV, Dish, Google Play, DirecTV, and more on August 20th.

Blxst Announces 2024 I’ll Always Come Find You Tour

BlxstFollowing last week’s release of his new album, “I’ll Always Come Find You”, Blxst announces his 2024 I’ll Always Come Find You Tour. Blxst will play 30 shows across North America; following up his sold-out No Love Lost tour in 2021 and his sold-out Before You Go tour in 2022.

The tour will kick off on October 1 in Houston with stops in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, and more. Blxst will end the domestic tour back home in Los Angeles on November 22; before performing his first-ever show in Hawaii on December 5.

Joining Blxst on tour are collaborators and special guests Leon Thomas, Joyce Wrice, and Joony. Earlier this year, Blxst and Leon linked up for their “Crash & Burn (Remix).” Joyce and Joony are both featured on the new album on tracks: “Better Off Friends,” and “Thousand Hours,” respectively. Plus, TDE Singer Zacari will join Blxst in Hawaii after their most recent collaboration “Bless Her Heart.”

I’ll Always Come Find You is Blxst’s most motivated project to date. The 20-track concept album is split into four acts where Blxst takes on the character of Birdie, a young man who inherits his father’s chauffeur car service upon his sudden passing. This new creative and direction marks a new era for Blxst; not only musically, but with his performance plan and special surprises for the I’ll Always Come Find You Tour.

SDCC 2024: The National Association of Voice Actors Returns to San Diego Comic-Con

NAVANAVA is returning to SDCC after a successful panel last year. NAVA is the leading advocate for voice actors and AI protections, will lead a discussion on how new standards need to be built for artists, performers, and producers to collaborate on great products, while still protecting individual rights to intellectual property, performance, and publicity.

One issues that is ever looming is the threat of AI, and very likely to be a major panel issue. “Entertainment performers and artists of all kinds must adapt to this groundbreaking technology that can not only replicate their words, art, images, voices, and movements but also feed machine learning to create entirely new content,” according to the release.

Moderated by voice actor Linsay Rousseau (Transformers: War for Cybertron, media affairs director for NAVA), panelists include voice actors Tim Friedlander (president/founder of NAVA, Like a Dragon), JP Karliak (founder/president of QueerVox, X-Men ’97), Carin Gilfry (co-founder of NAVA, Starfield), Matthew “Reazon” Parham (director of operations for NAVA, Marvel’s MechStrike), and lawyer Scott Mortman (founder/CEO of global business consulting and legal advisory services AREDA Ventures, council for NAVA).
