Global Icon Seal Announces 30th Anniversary North American Tour

GRAMMY® award-winning global icon Seal will embark on a massive 30TH Anniversary Tour across North America this spring. Produced by Live Nation, he will team up with longtime producer and trusted collaborator Trevor Horn, who will take on the role of musical director for the run of shows; additionally, Horn’s acclaimed new wave band The Buggles will be featured as special guest performers.

The six-week run begins on April 25 in Phoenix, AZ at Arizona Financial Theatre and will make stops at famed venues such as the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY on May 23 and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on June 7. It concludes at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA on June 12. On Thursday, January 26, a special fan pre-sale will go live at 9AM local time followed by a Live Nation pre-sale at 10AM local time. The 30TH Anniversary Tour will commemorate three decades of his landmark self-titled debut album Seal(1991) and eponymous follow-up Seal II (1994). He will be performing the records in their entirety for the first time, delivering a set highlighted by classic chart-topping anthems such as “Crazy,” “Future Love Paradise,”“Killer,” and “Kiss From A Rose.” Expect soul staples and standards peppered throughout the set, showcasing the full spectrum of his incredible repertoire.

Foo Fighters, The Lumineers, And Paramore to Headline Boston Calling 2023

Boston Calling, acclaimed annual three-day music festival taking place Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 – 28, 2023 in Allston, MA, has announced its 2023 lineup today.

Headlining the festival on Friday, May 26th are Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foo Fighters; The Lumineers, the soulful alt-folk hit makers from Denver, CO, will headline Saturday, May 27th; and alt-rock darlings Paramore, who are soon to release their upcoming sixth studio album, This is Why, will bring their energetic headlining set to Boston Calling on Sunday May 28th.

Eric Church Announces 27-Date The Outsiders Revival Tour

Indigo Girls is set to perform perform at Sundance opening night celebration Opening Night: A Taste of Sundance presented by IMDbPro on January 19 in Park City.

The folk rock duo is also set premiere their new documentary at the festival, with the “It’s Only Life After All” doc.

Opening Night: A Taste of Sundance presented by IMDbPro will honor inspiring new storytellers whose journeys have been connected to Sundance throughout the years while raising funds and awareness for the Institute. Proceeds raised will be used to support the Institute’s year-round work uplifting global independent voices, both new and established, through artist programs, granting, and other initiatives.

Released in 1989, Indigo Girls’ eponymous major label debut sold over two million copies under the power of singles “Closer to Fine” and “Kid Fears” and turned Indigo Girls into one of the most successful folk duos in history.

“We are excited to have the Indigo Girls perform at our opening night celebration and help kick off the Festival as we honor inspiring storytellers. Emily Saliers and Amy Ray are bold independent artists who have spent their careers using their art to make an impact, like so many of the artists supported throughout the Institute’s history. Multi-Platinum Rock band DAUGHTRY will release a new cover song SEPARATE WAYS (WORLDS APART), a tribute to legendary rock band JOURNEY featuring vocals from Lzzy Hale, Lead singer of HALESTORM on Thursday Jan 5th 2023.

The cover releases exactly 40 years to the day that the original song was released on January 5th, 1983.

“Chris Daughtry and I have been threatening to unleash a duet for years. What better way to do that than by paying tribute to one of our mutual influences…. “Avatar: The Way of Water” Original Score Released, With Music By Simon Franglen

Hollywood Records has announced the release of Avatar: The Way of Water (Original Score) on all streaming platforms (listen here.) Featuring music by GRAMMY® Award-winning composer Simon Franglen, the 32-track album includes 11 additional score cues from the film not available on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

Franglen, who worked with composer James Horner on the original “Avatar” film, picked up where Horner left off following his tragic death in 2015, spending a large portion of the last three years composing the three-hour score to “Avatar: The Way of Water,” traveling to New Zealand to collaborate with James Cameron. Franglen was also responsible for the production and further composition of the music throughout “Pandora–The World of Avatar,” which opened at Walt Disney World in Florida in May 2017 and is working on the next “Avatar” sequel to be released in 2024.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure. Directed by James Cameron, “Avatar: The Way of Water” stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Rabisi and Kate Winslet. The screenplay is from James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver.

Zac Brown Band Announces 2023 “From The Fire Tour,” Marking Their 10th North American Tour

Today, multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band announced their upcoming 2023 “From the FireTour.”

The new set of dates, produced by Live Nation, arrives on the heels of 2022’s “Out in the Middle Tour” and the release of “The Comeback (Deluxe)” album, which features re-recorded tracks with some of music’s biggest stars, including Blake Shelton, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Cody Johnson, Marcus King, Jamey Johnson, and Ingrid Andress. The “Out in the Middle Tour” saw the band perform at Wrigley Field, Hollywood Bowl, Truist Park, and the famed Fenway Park, where they hold the record for most consecutive sold out shows with 13. The Killers, The Lumineers and Muse will headline the tenth anniversary of Shaky Knees Music Festival. The festival’s 10th anniversary edition will run over the first weekend of May, taking place May 5- May 7, 2023, at Central Park in downtown Atlanta.

The impressive lineup features over 60 bands on four stages, including Greta Van Fleet, Tenacious D, Hozier, The Mars Volta, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Flaming Lips performing “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots,” Cypress Hill performing “Black Sunday,” and many more.
