AMC Networks hosted panels at San Diego Comic-Con for two of its key titles in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe: the upcoming Anne Rice’s Talamasca and the newly titled third season of Interview with the Vampire, now called Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat.
The panel for The Vampire Lestat included cast members Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, and Eric Bogosian, along with showrunner Rolin Jones and composer Daniel Hart. AMC confirmed new and returning cast members, including Jennifer Ehle as Gabriella, Ella Ballentine as Baby Jenks, and Christopher Heyerdahl as Marius. Bogosian, who plays journalist Daniel Molloy, will also appear in Talamasca, creating a narrative crossover between the two series.
The Vampire Lestat, inspired by Anne Rice’s novel of the same name, continues the storyline from Interview with the Vampire, which received critical acclaim and back-to-back high scores on Rotten Tomatoes. A teaser trailer was also released.
Anne Rice’s Talamasca, which premieres October 26 at 9PM ET/PT, focuses on a secret society monitoring supernatural activity. The panel included executive producers Mark Johnson, John Lee Hancock, and Mark Lafferty, along with stars Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Celine Buckens. The event included the release of a teaser trailer and a preview scene from the premiere.
Both shows are produced by AMC Studios and part of the network’s expanding Anne Rice television universe.
