Ryan Gosling Teams Up With an Alien in First Trailer for ‘Project Hail Mary’

project-hail-maryAmazon MGM Studios has released the first official trailer for Project Hail Mary, the upcoming sci-fi adventure starring Ryan Gosling as a lone astronaut tasked with saving humanity. Based on Andy Weir’s best-selling novel (The Martian), the film opens in theaters March 20, 2026.

Directed by Oscar-winning duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Lego Movie), the story follows Ryland Grace, an amnesiac astronaut who awakens aboard a mysterious spacecraft. As his memory returns, Grace realizes he’s humanity’s last hope—and not entirely alone. The trailer gives fans their first look at Rocky, a surprising alien companion who plays a major role in the film’s emotional and scientific journey.

The cast also includes Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall), Milana Vayntrub, Isla McRae, and Bastian Antonio Fuentes. With a script by Drew Goddard (The Martian), the film blends high-concept science fiction with humor, emotion, and interstellar stakes.

Project Hail Mary will debut in theaters on March 20, 2026.

Bill Hader Voices a Chaotic Cat in First Look at Animated Cat in the Hat

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for its upcoming animated film The Cat in the Hat, due in theaters on February 27, 2026. Voiced by Bill Hader, this new version of the classic Dr. Seuss character follows the Cat on a mission from the Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration (I.I.I.I.) to help two children adjust after moving to a new town. It’s described as the Cat’s most difficult assignment yet, with the risk of losing his magical hat if he fails.

The film is the first full-length animated theatrical adaptation of the book and introduces an expansive new world separate from previous versions. It’s directed by Alessandro Carloni (Kung Fu Panda 3) and Erica Rivinoja (Clone High, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs).

The voice cast includes Xochitl Gomez, Quinta Brunson, Matt Berry, Paula Pell, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Bowen Yang, and Tituss Burgess.

Trailer Released for “I Wish You All the Best”, Tommy Dorfman’s Directorial Debut

i-wish-you-all-the-bestLionsgate has released the official trailer for I Wish You All the Best, a coming-of-age drama directed and written by Tommy Dorfman. Based on the novel by Mason Deaver, the film follows Ben, a high school junior who comes out as nonbinary and is forced to move in with an estranged older sister after being rejected by their parents.

Starring Corey Fogelmanis as Ben, the film also features Alexandra Daddario, Cole Sprouse, Lena Dunham, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley. The story explores identity, chosen family, and the struggles of adolescence through the lens of a nonbinary protagonist.

I Wish You All the Best premiered at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival and marks Dorfman’s feature directorial debut. The film will open in U.S. theaters on November 7, 2025.

New Character Debuts in The Lucky Devils #4; Issue #3 Returns to Print

thelucky-devilsWriter Charles Soule and artist Ryan Browne return with The Lucky Devils #4, set to release July 30. The new issue introduces a major character as the story continues its descent through the circles of Hell. In tandem, a second printing of issue #3 will also be available for readers catching up on the series.

The fantasy satire follows devils Collar and Rake as they secretly do good on Earth to destabilize Hell. In issue #4, their actions draw the attention of powerful demons, who send a dangerous hunter to restore order.

Soule and Browne acknowledged delays due to health challenges, but both confirmed the series is back on schedule. Multiple cover variants for issue #4 will be available, including artwork by Browne and Andrew MacLean.

The Lucky Devils is published by Image Comics and is also available digitally via Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.

Trailer Released for Edgar Wright’s The Running Man, Starring Glen Powell

the-running-manParamount Pictures has released the official trailer for The Running Man, a new adaptation of Stephen King’s 1982 novel, directed by Edgar Wright. The film stars Glen Powell as Ben Richards, a desperate father who enters a televised death game to earn money for his sick daughter.

Set in a near-future society, The Running Man follows contestants—called “Runners”—as they attempt to survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins, with the entire event broadcast to the public. Powell plays Richards, who becomes an unexpected fan favorite and a threat to the system. Josh Brolin plays the show’s producer, with Colman Domingo appearing as the host.

The cast also includes Michael Cera, Lee Pace, Katy O’Brian, Jayme Lawson, and William H. Macy. The film marks a new take on King’s story, distinct from the 1987 version starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Running Man opens in theaters November 7, 2025.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Trailer Unleashes the Beginning of the Final Battle

The film adapts the “Infinity Castle” arc of the Demon Slayer manga. It follows Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps as they respond to an attack by Muzan Kibutsuji at the Ubuyashiki Mansion, leading them into a confrontation at the demons’ stronghold. The trailer includes scenes of the descent into the castle and the start of the final battle.

The movie is directed by Haruo Sotozaki and produced by Ufotable, with music by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina. Theme songs are performed by Aimer and LiSA. International distribution is handled by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The ensemble drama stars Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, and Emily Beecham as three sisters reuniting for the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother, played by Thomas.

The film, which premiered under the title North Star at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, is inspired in part by Thomas’s own family history. Set over a weekend in the English countryside, the story explores unresolved grief, generational tension, and family dynamics, as the sisters confront the past while preparing for their mother’s nuptials.

The cast also includes Freida Pinto. My Mother’s Wedding opens in U.S. theaters on August 8, 2025.

Teaser Trailer Released for Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia, Starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons

bugoniaFocus Features has released the first teaser trailer for Bugonia, the latest film from director Yorgos Lanthimos. The dark comedy-thriller stars Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons as two men who believe a corporate executive is part of an alien plot to destroy Earth.

The film follows Teddy, a reclusive beekeeper, and his cousin Don, who kidnap Michelle, a pharmaceutical executive, convinced she is working with extraterrestrials. Based on the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet!, Bugonia blends paranoia, absurdity, and deadpan humor in Lanthimos’s signature style.

The cast also includes Alicia Silverstone, Stavros Halkias, and Aidan Delbis. Bugonia marks another collaboration between Lanthimos and Stone, following The Favourite, Poor Things, and Kinds of Kindness.

Bugonia opens in theaters October 24, 2025.

Adam Sandler Announces Fall 2025 Arena Tour Across North America

adam-sandler-youre-my-best-friend-tourAdam Sandler will hit the road this fall for a new North American arena tour titled You’re My Best Friend. Produced by Live Nation, the tour begins September 5 in Jacksonville, Florida, and will visit more than 30 cities, including New York, Toronto, Chicago, Indianapolis, Omaha, and Seattle.

The announcement follows Sandler’s sold-out tours in 2022 and 2023, as well as his recent Netflix comedy special Love You, released earlier this year. His previous special, 100% Fresh, debuted on Netflix in 2018.

Sandler will also appear this summer in Happy Gilmore 2, premiering July 25 on Netflix, and in Noah Baumbach’s upcoming film Jay Kelly, due later this year.

Presale tickets are available beginning today. General ticket sales begin Friday, June 27 at 12 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com.

Comedy Central Announces Guest Lineup for Digman! Season Two

digmanComedy Central has revealed the guest voice cast for season two of Digman!, the animated comedy created by Andy Samberg and Neil Campbell. The series returns Wednesday, July 9 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

New additions to the cast include Fred Armisen, Mark Hamill, Nathan Lane, Seth Meyers, Amy Sedaris, John Waters, Jeffrey Wright, and Kate Winslet, among others.

Produced by CBS Studios and The Lonely Island, Digman! stars Samberg as Rip Digman, with returning cast members Mitra Jouhari, Tim Robinson, Dale Soules, Guz Khan, Melissa Fumero, and Tim Meadows.
