Netflix will debut Karen Kingsbury’s A Thousand Tomorrows on September 1, marking the bestselling author’s latest story to reach the screen. The film, based on her novel of the same name, was co-written with director Tyler Russell and produced by AFFIRM Originals and Red Clay Studios.
The story follows a young man who makes a life-altering sacrifice for the woman he loves, raising questions about how much someone is willing to give for limited time together.
Kingsbury’s work will also arrive in theaters later this year with The Christmas Ring, opening November 6 through Fathom Entertainment. Starring Jana Kramer, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Kelsey Grammer, the film is adapted from Kingsbury’s new novel releasing October 21.
With more than 60 books and nearly 30 million copies sold, Kingsbury is expanding her reach into both streaming and theatrical releases.
