This July, Margaret Stohl and Carlos Pacheco will come together to bring Carol Danvers a new story in THE LIFE OF CAPTAIN MARVEL – and today, Marvel is excited reveal a new variant by our own Chief Creative Officer, Joe Quesada.

“The understanding of Carol as a hero is fundamentally tied to her strength, but being strong is not entirely the same as having Kree powers,” writer Margaret Stohl told CBR in a recent interview. “So it’s been a really interesting journey looking into the nature of Carol’s strength; what makes her strong as a person and as a hero?
