Fox’s Prison Break which is considered one of the most thrilling series is back to your screens and this time, the iconic crime drama TV show is bigger and better than all the previous seasons.

After almost a decade, most people have been left speculating what to expect but just after the first episode, one can already anticipate high adrenaline action and perhaps more mystery than what they are used to.

At the start of Season 5, a lot of people have been left wondering what happened to Michael Scofield, (Wentworth Miller) after it turns out that he was never dead after all. His brother Lincoln Burrows, (Dominic Purcell) is the first one to bring out the possibility of Michael being alive and he goes ahead and shares the same with Sara.

Sara is sceptic about the possibility of Michael being alive but that does not deter Lincoln from digging up Michael’s grave only to discover that the body was indeed missing.

So what exactly happened based on the fact that at the end of season 4, viewers witnessed Michael’s body being lowered down the grave? Turns out, Michael suffered from amnesia and does not have any memory of Sarah, his brother Lincoln or even his son.

Michael’s journey from a Middle Eastern prison to freedom will probably begin in the next episode. This time, Lincoln’s (Dominic Purcell) character will be of major significance since it is expected that he will be the one to break Michael (Wentworth Miller) out of jail.

The plot could thicken going by the fact that this time, they will be breaking out from a country that is in the middle of a civil war. There are expectations that the directors will introduce an ISIS link into the plot just to show how hard it will be for the main character to execute a perfect jail break like they are used to. So where does Dr. Sara Tancredi come in all this? Sara, (SarahWayne Callies) will probably be facing the dilemma of her life.

After possibly learning that Michael could be alive after all, she will be torn between sacrificing her marriage for the father of her son. Considering that Michael’s memory might still not be intact, will he at some point remember his family?Another burning question is T-bag Bagwell’s, (Robert Knepper) significance in the new series? It must be remembered that it was indeed Bagwell who received the letters that pointed out to the fact that Michael could be alive after all.

The question remains, who sent those letters? Was it Michael or someone who just wanted to see what would happen? When Lincoln, (Dominic Purcell) tries to follow the trail and informs Sara about the possibility of Michael, (Wentworth Miller) being alive, he is almost killed by an assassin or so it is assumed. The same people come after Sara and end up shooting her husband. So who exactly were these people and how are they connected to Michael’s ‘fake’ death?

There are a lot of unknowns in Prison Break season 5 viewers will be watching keenly to see just what happened to Michael that instead of being dead ended up in a jail in Morocco. It will also be interesting to see how Lincoln, (Dominic Purcell) will succeed at breaking his brother from a country facing a civil uprising.
