Star Wars: Episode VIII title and poster revealed

By AI Creative Media

The sequel to the massively successful 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens finally has a title: Star Wars: The Last Jedi; Disney has just announced on Monday alongside a new poster.

“We have the greatest fans in this or any other galaxy. In appreciation of the fans, we wanted them to be the first to know the title of the next chapter in the Skywalker saga: STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI,” the company said in a statement on the official Star Wars website.

And with the reveal of the title comes the teaser poster, which features the logo in red, not the classic yellow the world has known for decades. No one knows at this point what this means if nothing at all but a teaser. We may have to wait for the first trailer to get some answers.

The film stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. The Last Jedi will also be the late Carrie Fisher’s final film, who died late 2016 on Dec.27. Fisher played General Leia.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, written and directed by Rian Johnson, will hit theaters on December 15, 2017.

New ‘Beauty and the Beast’s poster features cast

By AI Creative Media

Walt Disney Studios on Wednesday released a new poster for its live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast and its pure magic. The triptych image features many of the characters that we have not seen before, until today.

The poster shows human characters in the background such as Lumière (Ewan McGregor), Cogsworth (Ian McKellen), Candenza (Stanley Tucci), Plumette (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), and Mrs. Potts (Emma Thompson). At the center of them all is the Beast waltzing with Emma Watson’s Belle.

Disney’s original 1991 animated film made $424M at the global boxoffice. With anticipation running high (the trailer broke records for most views in 24 hours), Oscar winner Bill Condon’s live-action version should have no trouble outgrossing the animated classic.

Beauty and the Beast will be released in theaters on March 17.

In 2014, it was announced that Lucas would build the 275,000-square-foot museum in Chicago, home to Lucas’ wife Mellody Hobson. A few years later the decision came down between choosing Los Angeles or San Francisco.

For LA, this is another high profile project to be built in its booming architectural landscape, and its expected to provide new jobs as Lucas is expected to spend $1 billion to the construction of the museum.

“After extensive due diligence and deliberation, the Board of Directors of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is pleased to announce plans to build the museum in Exposition Park in Los Angeles. We have been humbled by the overwhelmingly positive support we received from both San Francisco and Los Angeles during our selection process. Settling on a location proved to be an extremely difficult decision precisely because of the desirability of both sites and cities.”

The museum will be built in Exposition Park, near other museums such as the California Science Center and Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, while across the street is the the University of Southern California, where Lucas is an alumnus to its film school.

He is planning to finance the project and has been trying to build the museum for almost a decade.

According to lucasmuseum.org, the collection will be a process of continuous expansion, and will focus on “three lenses”: The History of Narrative Art, The Art of Cinema, and Digital Art, which features various digital art form categories such as cinema, illustration, fine art, sculpture, and architecture. The museum plans to complete its new building and open its doors by 2021.

Gotham: Synopsis for New Episode Teases Jerome’s Return

By AI Creative Media

Back in Season 2 of Gotham, we saw Cameron Monaghan’s dastardly Gotham villain, Jerome, meet his end at the hands of Gotham City mayor Theo Galavan. But the popularity of the character (due in huge part to Cameron’s memorable portrayal) didn’t stop fan speculation of his possible resurrection in some way or form.

Recently, the show isn’t making a secret about Cameron Monaghan’s character return. With the mid-season finale “Beware the Green-Eyed Monster” weeks ago, the first trailer for Gotham’s 2017 season teased the return of the deranged villain, while actor Monaghan himself took to Twotter in September to confirm his return:

The response from Gotham fans to the character has been overwhelmingly positive from the start, so bringing him back from the grave should give us an exciting season ahead.

Here’s the synopsis for January’s midseason premiere of Gotham, titled “Ghosts.”

Cameron Monaghan and Paul Reubens Return
Falcone places a hit on Gordon after learning that he shot Mario. Gordon and Bullock discover a follower of Jerome (guest star Cameron Monaghan), who plans to bring him back to life. Meanwhile, Penguin spirals out of control before the biggest television interview of his Mayoral career, and Bruce and Selina deal with Selina’s mom’s return to Gotham.

Gotham returns on January 16, 2017.

Alien: Covenant

By AI Creative Media

Its only Christmas and Hollywood is already gearing up for movie blockbusters set to hit Summer 2017. Because you know, there’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than watching this deliciously terrifying new trailer of master Ridley Scott’s new creation, Alien: Covenant.

Alien: Covenant is a sequel to 2012’s “Prometheus,” and brings back Michael Fassbender’s sinister android David, the only survivor of the Prometheus expedition.

Here’s the official synopsis:
Set as the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with Prometheus, Alien: Covenant connects directly to Ridley Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. It begins with the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. There, the crew discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Alien: Covenant opens on May 19th, 2017

Happy Holidays!
