suicideboys Unveil New Album Today, New Orleans duo $uicideboy$ have announced the upcoming release of their new album Sing Me A Lullaby My Sweet Temptation releasing via G*59 RECORD$ on July 29.

To celebrate the album release, the rap cousins (Ruby da Cherry and $crim) will embark on a 40-city nationwide Grey Day Tour that kicks off in Chicago, IL at Huntington Bank Pavilion on August 2 with stops in Los Angeles at The Kia Forum, Seattle at The Climate Pledge Arena and wrapping in Denver at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

A full list of tour dates are below. Opening acts on the headlining tour include Ski Mask The Slump God, $not, JPEGMAFIA, Code Orange, Knocked Loose and Maxo Kream. The group will also perform at Bonnaroo and Rolling Loud in Toronto this Summer.  Tickets go on sale Friday, June 10th at 10am local time HERE.

Additionally, the group will introduce a new single “Escape from BABYLON” from their highly-anticipated new album this Friday, June 10. Pre-Save the song HERE. The melodic track details the struggles of dating and how it pertains to their wild lifestyle. Ruby raps about the need for space and not wasting time in a relationship, while $crim unveils his flaws to his girl that leads her to loving him even more. Lamb Of God Reveals New Album and Tour Details“Lamb Of God” follows 2020’s No. 1 Hard Rock Album with a vicious new testament. Riding high on a creative renaissance saluted by the likes of Rolling Stone and NME, the Grammy-nominated goliath returns with the gloriously unhinged Omens, produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur (Korn, Megadeth).

The first single, “Nevermore,” arrives on Friday, June 10. Omens follows on October 7 via Epic Records.

Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill” Returns To The Charts

Thanks to the fourth season of “Stranger Things,” Kate Bush’s 1985 classic “Running Up That Hill” is finding new life and fresh new listeners.

With the return of the Netflix’s hit show’s new season on Friday, and the song being a pivotal part of the plot, the song has surged in Spotify by 9,900% in U.S. plays from Thursday to Monday, per Billboard.

Bush has always been more popular particularly in her native UK than in thee US, so it is understandable that the song is experiencing a similar bump in popularity in the UK as well.

The English singer-songwriter originally released Running Up That Hill in 1985. It was the first single from her fifth studio Hounds of Love, which reached the top of the UK charts and the top 40 in Billboard 200. “Hill” itself originally peaked at No. 3 in the UK charts, and 30 in the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

In the Netflix series’ first episode, the song is frequently played throughout the entire season, at some point accompanying the journey of one of the characters Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) in the series.

Viva Las Vengeance shows a change in process for frontman/songwriter Brendon Urie, having cut everything live to tape in Los Angeles alongside his friends and production partners, Jake Sinclair and Mike Viola. The cinematic musical journey is about the fine line between taking advantage of your youth, seizing the day and burning out. The songs take an introspective look into his relationship with his decade plus career including growing up in Las Vegas, love, and fame.

“Viva Las Vengeance is a look back at who I was 17 years ago and who I am now with the fondness I didn’t have before. I didn’t realize I was making an album and there was something about the tape machine that kept me honest,” said Brendon Urie.

Andrew Fletcher, the keyboardist and founding member of British electronic band Depeche Mode, has died. Fletch is aged 60. “We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness with the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member, and bandmate Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher,” a statement issued by the band on social media said.

Fletcher died Thursday from natural causes at his home in the United Kingdom, a person close to the band said. “Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh or a cold pint.”

Fletcher formed Depeche Mode, with fellow synthesizer players Vince Clarke and Martin Gore, and lead singer Dave Gahan, in Basildon, England in 1980. The English electronic music band would become one of the pioneers of British electro-pop along with hits like “Just Can’t Get Enough” and “Personal Jesus.”

Depeche Mode would find international success with 1984′s the single “People are People,” from their 1984 album “Some Great Reward” which established the band as one of the major musical forces within the electronic music scene throughout the 1980s and early 1990s.

One of the major highlights of the band’s numerous successes was the band’s concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl June in 1988, where they drew more than 60,000 people. This event was documented in a live album and documentary film,

Oceans Calling Festival Unveils Inaugural LineupThe inaugural Oceans Calling Festival has unveiled the 2022 lineup, which bring powerhouse headliners Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds (Friday), The Lumineers (Saturday), and Alanis Morissette (Sunday) to the southern end of the iconic Ocean City, Maryland Boardwalk at Ocean City Inlet Beach on September 30-October 2. The festival will be featuring three stages and performances from over 30 bands, including Cage The Elephant, Cyndi Lauper, and multiple sets from co-founders and local heroes O.A.R in a historic setting.
