Multi-Platinum Rock band DAUGHTRY will release a new cover song SEPARATE WAYS (WORLDS APART), a tribute to legendary rock band JOURNEY featuring vocals from Lzzy Hale, Lead singer of HALESTORM on Thursday Jan 5th 2023.

The cover releases exactly 40 years to the day that the original song was released on January 5th, 1983.

“Chris Daughtry and I have been threatening to unleash a duet for years. What better way to do that than by paying tribute to one of our mutual influences…. JOURNEY!” said Lzzy Hale. “This song is not only part of the Stranger Things soundtrack but has been my go-to for karaoke for as long as i can remember! I’m so honored to have been a part of this and I hope it makes you smile as big as I did while recording it!”

“Avatar: The Way of Water” Original Score Released, With Music By Simon Franglen

Hollywood Records has announced the release of Avatar: The Way of Water (Original Score) on all streaming platforms (listen here.) Featuring music by GRAMMY® Award-winning composer Simon Franglen, the 32-track album includes 11 additional score cues from the film not available on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

Franglen, who worked with composer James Horner on the original “Avatar” film, picked up where Horner left off following his tragic death in 2015, spending a large portion of the last three years composing the three-hour score to “Avatar: The Way of Water,” traveling to New Zealand to collaborate with James Cameron. Franglen was also responsible for the production and further composition of the music throughout “Pandora–The World of Avatar,” which opened at Walt Disney World in Florida in May 2017 and is working on the next “Avatar” sequel to be released in 2024.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure. Directed by James Cameron, “Avatar: The Way of Water” stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Rabisi and Kate Winslet. The screenplay is from James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver.

Zac Brown Band Announces 2023 “From The Fire Tour,” Marking Their 10th North American Tour

Today, multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band announced their upcoming 2023 “From the FireTour.”

The new set of dates, produced by Live Nation, arrives on the heels of 2022’s “Out in the Middle Tour” and the release of “The Comeback (Deluxe)” album, which features re-recorded tracks with some of music’s biggest stars, including Blake Shelton, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Cody Johnson, Marcus King, Jamey Johnson, and Ingrid Andress. The “Out in the Middle Tour” saw the band perform at Wrigley Field, Hollywood Bowl, Truist Park, and the famed Fenway Park, where they hold the record for most consecutive sold out shows with 13. Just ahead of their own record-breaking sell-out, Zac Brown Band was inducted into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame, joining only Paul McCartney and Billy Joel.

The “From the Fire Tour,” which marks the band’s 10th North American tour, will kick off in Columbus, Ohio on June 30th and continue through November. The tour will showcase Zac Brown Band’s one-of-a-kind, southern rock style, serving as an ode to fans and those that have lent a helping hand to pull this country out from the fire of these past few years and helped us all get back on our feet and unify as one. The band will perform over 30 shows, including a return to Fenway Park as well as performances at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater, Hersheypark Stadium, Budweiser Stage, and Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Joshua Bassett Announces The Complicated Tour In North America And Europe

The Killers, The Lumineers and Muse will headline the tenth anniversary of Shaky Knees Music Festival. The festival’s 10th anniversary edition will run over the first weekend of May, taking place May 5- May 7, 2023, at Central Park in downtown Atlanta.

Metallica Announces M72 World Tour 2023-2024

The Wonderfront 2022 Festival returned tonight with another spectacular performances from G-Eazy, Soja, Swa Lee, as well as headliner Kings of Leon.

And returns again tomorrow for the last day of the festival, with headliner three-time Grammy Award winner and multiplatinum solo artist Gwen Stefani set to perform.

The eight stages are the Events.com Headliners Stage, the Pot of San Diego Stage and the Sugarshack Sessions Stage that are all located at Embarcadero Marina North Park; the Coors Light Stage and the ImmerXion Stages, located at the Seaport Village; the TUStreams Stage and The Silent Disco Stage at the Ruocco Park, and the Spirit of San Diego Marietta Stage at the 5th Ave. Landing.

Wonderfront 2022 Festival: Photo Highlights

It was a big day of great music in San Diego on Friday, as Wonderfront 2022 Festival kicks off on seven stages with more than 80 bands playing for three days.

Highlights includes stunning performances by LA indie pop band “Saint Motel” and rock band “Young the Giant” rocking the night over at Port of San Diego, singer-songwriter from Detroit Quinn XCII performed at Seaport Village stage and country music singer and songwriter CAM serving up the fun over at Events.com Embacadero North.

Closing the night at Events.com was headliner, Grammy winning brand Zac Brown Band, who rocked the crowd at the packed venue, bringing Caroline Jones into the stage. The band recently announced Jones as a permanent addition to the band.

The Wonderfront 2022 Festival is set to feature tonight’s performers such as G-Eazy, Soja, Swa Lee, as well as headliner Kings of Leon.
