The Doobie Brothers Announce Walk This Road North American Tour

The-Doobie-BrothersLegendary hitmaking, Platinum-selling, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and soon to be Songwriters Hall of Fame band The Doobie Brothers announced today they will launch a North American summer tour in support of their upcoming new studio album WALK THIS ROAD. The newly announced tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off in Detroit and includes shows in New York, Boston, Chicago and Toronto, with more dates to be announced. Joining The Doobie Brothers on the Walk This Road Tour will be special guests The Coral Reefer Band.

“We’re so looking forward to the 2025 Summer tour!” Patrick Simmons said on behalf of The Doobie Brothers. “We’ll be celebrating the release of our new album WALK THIS ROAD and we’re excited to be performing new songs from the record. The Coral Reefer Band is the touring and recording band of beloved American singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett. The band performed with Buffett until his passing in 2023, and continues celebrating and performing his music at his request. The band reunited for the first time at 2024’s ‘Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett’ concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The Coral Reefer Band will keep the party going this summer bringing the hits of Jimmy Buffett to Parrot Heads and new audiences alike on all dates of the upcoming Walk This Road tour.

Simple Minds Unveil Epic North American Headline Tour

The eagerly awaited tour coincides with the 40th anniversary of Simple Minds’ momentous 1985, a milestone year in their legendary career which saw them topping the world’s charts with their Billboard “Hot 100” #1 smash, “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” and RIAA Gold-certified seventh studio album Once Upon A Time, not to mention their unforgettable set in front of 135,000 fans – and a TV audience of millions – on the American leg of 1985’s Live Aid. Today sees the digital premiere of a special new 9-track edition of Once Upon A Timefeaturing the addition of “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” and updated Ruby Anniversary artwork. This tour marks the band’s most ambitious journey across the United States and Canada to date, with performances in numerous cities they’ll be visiting for the very first time, including three arena shows, which showcase the band’s growing fan base.

Produced by Live Nation, the 15-city tour will kick off in Vancouver and will visit major cities including two nights at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, a stop at the Prudential Center in Newark, and more before concluding in Minneapolis on June 7th. Kicking off on Friday, February 21 in Tampa, FL, the rap kings will then bring their can’t-miss set to Charlotte, NC on Sunday, February 23, before capping off the mini-tour in St. Louis, MO, on Friday, February 28.

Lil Wayne, B.G., Juvenile and Turk took the stage together for the first time in over 15 years at last year’s sold-out Lil’ WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans, where they treated audience members to a showstopping performance filled with hits like “I Need a Hot Girl” and “Neighborhood Superstar,” as well as their individual tracks like Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up” and B.G.’s “Bling Bling.” The upcoming slate of shows comes on the heels of last December’s Hot Boys Holiday, which saw the rap supergroup take over a sold-out Toyota Center in Houston. Bringing together some of the top names in music and entertainment, both Intuit Dome and Kia Forum will host FireAid on Thursday, January 30, to raise money for rebuilding communities devastated by wildfires and supporting efforts to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California.

This one-night-only event will start at 6 PM PT. It will feature performances by Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, Tate McRae, and performing together for the first time, Dave Matthews and John Mayer. Additional artists, special guests, and lineups for each venue will be announced in the coming days.

Powered by awe-inspiring, psychedelic, never-before-seen footage, performances, and music, Bernard MacMahon’s experiential cinematic odyssey explores Led Zeppelin’s creative, musical, and personal origin story. The film is told in Led Zeppelin’s own words and is the first officially sanctioned film on the group.

Directed by Bernard MacMahon and produced by writer-producer Allison McGourty, Sony Pictures Classics is set to release the documentary on February 07, 2025 on Imax.
