“Jumanji: The Next Level” Official Trailer Debuts

The Rock and the gang are back in the upcoming fantasy adventure comedy, and it comes with plenty of surprises.

The official trailer for “Jumanji: The Next Level,” dropped this week, and it brings back Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black, with Awkwafina, Danny Glover, and Danny DeVito joining in all the fun.

The trailer sees Fridge (Ser’Darius Blain) and Martha (Morgan Turner) returning into the game to rescue Spencer (Alex Wolff) who seem to have disappeared into the game, only to find Spencer’s grandfather, Eddie (DeVito) and his friend Milo (Glover) also sucked into the game but in Johnson and Hart’s avatars respectively. But Spencer is nowhere to be found.

“Jumanji: The Next Level” is a sequel to the hugely successful 2017 film “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” which grossed $962.1 million worldwide. And from the looks of it, the next film will be another massive hit.

Director Jake Kasdan also returns to helm. “Jumanji: The Next Level” is set to hit theaters Dec. 13, 2019.

New Action-Packed “Charlie’s Angels” Trailer Revealed

The trailer for Elizabeth Banks’s upcoming action comedy Charlie’s Angels was just released, featuring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska in roles of savvy crime-fighting trio.

There’s plenty of glam and action in the trailer, and lots of outfits. Along with the fast paced action, we see our leads in various disguises and costume changes.

“We’re gonna need some wigs, toys, clothes,” says Banks.

Naomi Scott is certainly riding high this year with the recent, somewhat unexpected success of “Aladdin” this summer.

Banks wrote, produced and directed the film. Along with Djimon Hounsou and Patrick Stewart, she is also one of the multiple mentors of the women named “Bosley”.

A reboot of the 1970s TV series, as well as the 2000 and 2003 feature movie versions, the film features songs by Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey and Miley Cyrus. Sam laflin, Noah Centineo and Luis Gerardo Méndez also co-star.

Sony Pictures Releasing is set to release “Charlie’s Angels” on November 15, 2019.

Epic First Trailer For WWII Action Drama “Midway” Released

Roland Emmerich is back in familiar territory in “Midway”, the director’s upcoming war drama set for release later this year. Lionsgate released the film’s teaser trailer today and it looks very promising.

Midway tells the story of US Navy sailors and aviators who fought during World War II’s Battle of Midway, focusing on June 1942’s naval battle in the Pacific theater months after the the assault on US forces at the Pearl Harbor.

The trailer ticks all of Emmerich’s formula boxes that made Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow such boxoffice hits; its looks grand-scale with plenty of action and explosions and sweeping cinematography.

The film is also stacked with big names, including Woody Harrelson, Luke Evans, Mandy Moore, Patrick Wilson, Aaron Eckhart, Alexander Ludwig, Nick Jonas, Dennis Quaid, and many more.

“Midway” is set for release on November 8, 2019.

Liam Hemsworth Lost His Memories In New Trailer For “Killerman”

Blue Fox Entertainment has debuted the first trailer for its gritty crime thriller “Killerman,” which premiered on Wednesday.

The initial look at the thriller film sees “The Hunger Games” alum Liam Hemsworth as Moe Diamond, a man who got involved a drug deal awry and a car accident that leaves him without any memory of who he is.

“The past is gone. The future is unforgiving,” it says on the trailer.

Directed by writer-director Malik Bader, the film co-stars Emory Cohen, Diane Guerrero, Nikola Shreli and Suraj Sharma.

The film is set to premiere at the 2019 Fantasia Film Festival before it is released to select theaters on August 30, 2019.

“Doctor Sleep” Revisits Danny From “The Shining”

Its been nearly 40 years ago since moviegoers saw Danny Torrance and his psychic powers called “the shining” in the 1980 film adaptation of the Steven King novel of the same name.

“Doctor Sleep” follows Danny (played by Ewan McGregor) now an adult, an alcoholic and battling the childhood trauma that he experienced with his family in the Overlook Hotel. This week, Warner Bros. unveiled the film’s creepy trailer, giving audiences a first look at Danny since the events in the hotel.

Written and directed by Mike Flanagan, who directed the highly underrated Oculus from 2013 and the hit Netflix series “The Haunting of the Hill House.”

Fans should also recognize the “The Shining” theme featured in the trailer, which suggests that the sequel may indeed exist within the world of original King novel and Stanley Kubrick’s classic film.

The film co-stars Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Fallout) and child actress Kyliegh Curran. “Doctor Sleep” is set to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures on November 8, 2019.

First Full Trailer For “Frozen 2” Released

The full-length trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel from Walt Disney Animation has been released, and it looks like another blockbuster winner.

The sequel, a follow-up to the highly successful, billion dollar grossing animated film from 2013, brings back the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. The original of course was a global blockbuster, grossing $1.27 billion worldwide.

“Elsa, the past is not what it seems,” a troll says in the trailer. “You must find the truth. Go north, across the enchanted land and into the unknown.” The trailer also shows Elsa’s sister, who is similarly in an uncertain situation, and she is in a boat with no less than Olaf.

The original directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are also back and based on this new footage, they have not lost their magical touch one bit. Songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez also return. In the original film, the two took the song “Let It Go” from the film’s soundtrack all the way to academy awards, winning Best Original Song.

“Frozen 2” is set for release later this year on Nov. 22, which by the way is the exact day the original film was released six years ago.

McCarthy, Haddish And Moss Join The Mafia In “The Kitchen” Trailer

The upcoming crime drama film sees the women as wives of Irish mobsters in jail. Written and directed by Andrea Berloff, the film is based on the Vertigo comic book miniseries.

Warner Bros. dropped the very first official trailer for the film, and it looks like the wives are about to take some serious business.

Those who may be expecting a comedy are in for a surprise, as the film is in fact more of a crime drama which that reminds us of last year’s excellent Steve McQueen directed film “Widows.”

Set 1978 New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen, the women are who are forced to take matters into their own hands while their husbands serve their sentences.

Also in the film are Domhnall Gleeson, Margo Martindale, Common, Bill Camp, and James Badge Dale, and many others.

“The Kitchen” set for release on August 9, 2019.

Disney Releases First Trailer for “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”

Angelina Jolie returns to the titular role of the horned villainess and she’s back to her ways. Elle Fanning’s Aurora is also back, while Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein and Chiwetel Ejiofor are new to the cast.

Appropriately set to “Season of the Witch,” the trailer features of beautiful visuals and seem to indicate a conflict between her and Pfeiffer’s Queen Ingrith.

“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” picks up several years after the original 2014 film “Maleficent,” a character loosely based on the Wicked fairy godmother and re-imagined the classic story of Sleeping Beauty.

Joachim Rønning directs the upcoming fantasy adventure film from Walt Disney Pictures. Rønning previously co-helmed “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”.

“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” is set for release on October 18, 2019.

“IT Chapter Two” Creepy Trailer Released

Pennywise is back, as Warner Bros. releases the very first trailer for director Andy Muschietti’s “IT Chapter Two,” the sequel to the 2017 boxoffice phenomenon “It”.

The trailer starts with a grown-up Beverly Marsh (Jessica Chastain), returning to her childhood home and finds that a creepy old woman now lives there.

“You know what they say about Dary,” the elderly woman says. “No one who dies here ever really dies.” Things escalates into really creepy territory pretty quickly from there. Just as she tries to leave, all hell broke lose.

Set 27 years after the first films, we see shots of the Losers Club all grown up and as well as flashbacks to their younger selves. The group revisits the town of Derry, Maine, and about to face the horrors of the past.

In addition to Chastain, the film features James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, Andy Bean as Stan Uris and James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak.

We also see the child actors who starred in the first film, such as Jaeden Martell, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Wyatt Oleff.

Bill Skarsgård also returns as Pennywise the Clown. The first film’s director Muschietti and writer Gary Dauberman are also back.

It Chapter Two is set for release on September 6, 2019.

Toy Story 4: “Making a New Friend” TV Spot Released

“Have you ever wondered what makes a toy, a toy?,” Pixar’s latest TV spot for its upcoming animated comedy offers us an existential and thought-provoking question.

Here we see a glimpse of the origins of a new character Forky, a spork with googly eyes designed by Bonnie. Woody soon meet Forky in Bonnie’s backpack and introduce him to everyone.

“Everyone, Bonnie made a friend in class,” Woody tells the gang. “She literally made a new friend.”

The film, which continues the events from Toy Story 3, also features the return of voices of Joan Cusack as Jessie, and Estelle Harris as the Potato Heads. Josh Cooley directs the film from Stephany Folsom’s script.

“Toy Story 4” is set for release on June 21.

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie.
