Where is that all coming from?” Check out the variant for THE LIFE OF CAPTAIN MARVEL #3, and don’t miss the start of Carol’s newest adventures this July.

Marvel Announces New CLOAK AND DAGGER Digital Exclusive Comic Series

Ahead of their television debut this Thursday night on Freeform, Marvel is excited to announce a new CLOAK AND DAGGER digital exclusive comic series written by Dennis Hopeless (Spider-Woman) with art by David Messina! The 6-issue monthly limited series begins today, and readers can download the first issue right now in the Marvel Comics App or on ComiXology and Kindle.

After meeting as runaways, vigilante teenagers Tyrone (“Cloak”) Johnson and Tandy (“Dagger”) Bowen were illegally experimented on and gifted with mysterious powers. As the living personifications of light and dark, their complementary abilities force them to rely on each other as they team up to save innocent people on the streets of New York, and around the world. This in-continuity Digital Series has been specifically designed to welcome new readers while giving long-time Marvelites the latest eagerly-awaited chapter in this fan-favorite duo’s story.

“With CLOAK AND DAGGER, we’re telling the story from two very different perspectives at the same time,” writer Dennis Hopeless told Marvel.com in an interview. “Tyrone and Tandy are fundamentally intertwined characters, but they see the world through different lenses. It’s been a lot of fun playing with that shifting perspective. We let the reader into each of their heads, sometimes even showing the same scene from two different angles. Just like in life, it’s the differences that propel the drama.”

“Lois Lane” Margot Kidder Dies At 69

By Creative Media Times

Actress Margot Kidder passed away Sunday at her home in Livingston, Montana. She was 69 years old.

The Canadian-American actress appeared in 135 films and television shows, including Brian De Palma’s cult thriller Sisters (1973), The Great Waldo Pepper (1975) opposite Robert Redford, and the hit horror film The Amityville Horror (1979).

But it was her role as a plucky reporter Lois Lane in the 1978 Richard Donner film “Superman” with Christopher Reeve that would invigorate her career. The film at that time, was one of the most expensive ever made and later became one of the highest grossing films of the year.

It is considered by many as inspiration for today’s comic book films. Kidder would continue to play the role for its sequels “Superman II” (1980), “Superman III” (1983) and “Superman IV: The Quest for Peace” (1987).

Reeve was paralyzed in a horseback riding accident in 1995 before he died died in 2004. In 1996, Kidder told in an interview with Barbara Walters that she had struggled with mental illness for decades.

The past few years, Kidder have been away from the spotlight, and spent most of time living in Montana.

New “Incredibles 2” Baby Jack-Jack

By Creative Media Times

Walt Disney Studios

If this latest trailer is any indication, it looks like Jack-Jack is about to steal the show as Pixar/Disney has just released the latest TV spot for the “Incredibles 2”.

And just in time for Mother’s Day, we also get to see the superhero clan’s matriarch, Elastigirl (Holly Hunter), now apparently a spokesperson for superheroes, front and center. “So things haven’t spiraled out of control the moment I left?,” she says over the phone after her busy day of fighting crime and campaigning for the return of “supers.”

The latest trailer is definitely more action packed than what we have seen so far as Disney enters the stretch of the film’s promos leading to its release in a month.

The original film grossed $633 million worldwide in 2004 and received the Annie Award for Best Animated Feature. The Incredibles also won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Disney-Pixar originally slated the film to 2019 but later switched release dates with “Toy Story 4.” “Incredibles 2” will hit cinemas on June 15, 2018.
